Isralestine Book Causing Quite A Stir!

If this is your first and last visit to Look Up Fellowship then this is the only post you'll ever need to read to get an idea of exactly where we are on the prophetic timeline.

I've said it several times over the past few weeks - these are very exciting times we're living in, and given all the signs around us that these are in fact the "last days" prophesied in the Bible, we need to make sure that we preach the Gospel to those who are lost with greater passion and urgency as we continue looking up.

Almost as if on cue, there was this perfect marriage of world geo-political events that mirrored not only the events foretold in the Bible, but also the scenario as outlined in a new bestseller that seeks to reinterpret long-held beliefs about how the end times events would unfold. I was surprised to learn that the subject of this new best-seller is the very scenario briefly touched upon last week in
the When Prophecies Collide? post on this website.

Even though Russia has advanced south into Georgia, a best-selling new Bible prophecy book says suggestions this signals an imminent march into the Middle East are mistaken. Instead, says Bill Salus, author of
"Isralestine," the world is about to be surprised by a different kind of devastating regional war involving Israel and its Arab neighbors.

"Isralestine: The Ancient Blueprints of the Future Middle East," currently rising to the top of the prophecy charts, says scholars have missed a significant piece of what the Bible reveals about the future of the region. And it has many of them reconsidering their prophetic model for the near future.

"You can set Russia's recent invasion of Georgia and Israel's concern over Iran's nuclear aspirations on the back burner, not that these topics lack importance," says Salus. "The stage is not adequately set for the highly publicized Ezekiel 38 and 39 Russian-Iranian nuclear-equipped consortia of nations to invade Israel. Psalm 83 comes first, and then Ezekiel 38 follows on its heels like a Goliath shadow. There are two distinct invasions of Israel, one building upon the other, with both occurring sequentially in the Middle East..." (emphasis mine).

Wow! Let that sink in for a moment and then reexamine the headlines as they exist today (some as recent as within the last few hours!)...

I must admit that it's certainly a plausible scenario, which makes one suspect that the timing of the release of this bestseller to coincide with world events was precisely the plan by God all along.

If by some chance that doesn't have your attention then consider reading Terry James' (best-selling author of the popular Left Behind series) review of this book below and know that he even said, "I have to say that with his book, Bill has my attention, when thinking on things taking place at such a torrid pace in the Middle East and the world...My own set-in-stone position hasn’t yet fractured, but I sense the quaking, so must rethink the composite that forms the foundation. The reading of Isralestine is an ingredient well worth adding to the mixture in making the eschatological base more secure."

Am looking forward to reading this book ~ ordered it yesterday.

Just an editorial comment ~ Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins are the author/writers of the Left Behind Series, not Terry James. Terry James has a prophetical website at: www.prophecyupdate.com.
