Powell References International Crisis?

On the heels of yesterday's reports of Senator Joe Biden's warning that the United States and a President Barack Obama will most certainly face an international crisis within the next 6 months comes news that Colin Powell shares a similar sentiment.

It sounds absurd, I know, but I couldn't possibly make this stuff up. Powell
said the following on NBC's Meet The Press over the weekend:

{TRANSCRIPT}

SPEAKERS:
TOM BROKAW, HOST / GENERAL COLIN POWELL, FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE

BROKAW: If you were called into the Oval Office on January 21st by the new president, whoever it happens to be, and he said to you, "General Powell, I need from you your recommendation on where I begin. What should be my priorities," where would you start?

POWELL:
I would start with talking to the American people and talking to the world, and conveying a new image of American leadership, a new image of America’s role in the world. The problems will always be there, and there's going to be a crisis come along in the 21st or 22nd of January that we don't even know about right now.

Ok, I realize that Powell was most likely speaking in generalities about how in the world we live in a new crisis can manifest itself at any moment. I get that. So, I don't want to be too much of a conspiracy theorist here.

Even so, you have to admit that it all becomes very suspect when you have two high-profile government representatives - in different parts of the country on the same day no less - give similar comments about a coming crisis that cannot be avoided, and one that can only be dealt with by Barack Obama as President.

"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near." Luke 21:28

Keep looking up!
