This is becoming surreal by the day! Humor me while we embark on a brief study of contrasts:
THE HITLER YOUTH
Now, let's take a look at a modern day version of a similar song. It's a video of children singing Obama's praises:
SING FOR CHANGE
Creepy, isn't it? Eerily reminiscent of the Hitler Youth during Hitler's rise to power before World War II. Here's the article from Gawker about this absurdity.
From the Sing For Change website:
"Sing for Change chronicles a recent Sunday afternoon, when 22 children, ages 5-12, gathered to sing original songs in the belief that their singing would lift up our communities for the coming election. Light, hope, courage and love shine through these non-voting children who believe that their very best contribution to the Obama campaign is to sing."
Guess who is one of the drivers behind this video? Non-other than the head of NBC, Jeff Zucker. It says so in a write-up on this video posted at Obama's own website:
"When Jeff Zucker went to pick up the camera package, Ted Schilowitz happened to be there and offered a RED camera set up on a Steadi Cam. What the children and a few adults accomplished in a few hours on a Sunday afternoon embodies the nature of the Obama campaign: its grassroots inspiration, its inclusiveness, its community building."
This story takes a more sinister twist, however, when you consider that it was originally posted on Obama's official campaign website only to be taken down later. In fact, the original video keeps being taken off of YouTube (set on private) and then put on to YouTube again and again. So, if you're having trouble getting the link to work ("We're sorry, this video is no longer available" message) that's why. Hmmm...That's strange. I wonder why that is? Worse is the perceived involvement by YouTube.
***UPDATE #1: I was able to search the Internet far and wide and I found the video on BlipTV. So, feast your eyes on this blatant exploitation of children by the Obama campaign.***
SING FOR CHANGE (BLIPTV.COM)
When is the last time you remember seeing a video or hearing a song from a bunch of school children in this country singing about a man who isn't and hasn't even become the President of the United States? Exactly.
Combine this latest news item with previous articles calling Obama the "Messiah" and elevating him to the status of World Leader and Savior and it becomes clear that things are getting very strange.
I mean, let's face it, they could have posted a video like "God Bless America" or "My Country 'Tis Of Thee," but no! They sing a song of worship to the "infallible leader," "changer of the world," the "God-man," "Messiah," - Barack Hussein Obama.
Anyone else also notice how Obama's campaign refuses to use American flags as well as patriotic themes, and instead replaces them with their own political party's paraphernalia (i.e. like the Presidential Seal that he created a few months back)? Are they running against the Republicans or, are they running against the United States of America? I'm just asking.
We Christians who examine the world daily looking for prophetic signs so that we can try to warn people that time is short might be on to something, huh? Suddenly, we don't seem too crazy now do we?
When will people open their eyes!?!
Lord come quickly.
***UPDATE #2: NBC denies this is the same Jeff Zucker. “It’s a different Jeff Zucker,” wrote an NBC spokesperson to Politico. Fair enough. However, this Jeff Zucker has access to an expensive, professional studio quality stereo microphone set and enough cash for an expensive full-color 3′x5′ original Obama poster behind the children, plus a pretty nice camera.***
What We're Praying/Talking About
Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...
