Nostalgia

Interesting. On the heels of my previous two entries (focused solely on the state of our nation), my dad sends me this link in an email:

Take Me Back To The Sixties

His only message included with the email was, "This was definitely a better time. Enjoy."

I obviously wasn't alive in the sixties, but there are quite a few nuggets of truth scattered throughout this presentation that resonate with me today.

"Like father, like son..." I guess. Sometimes the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree after all.


I'm afraid I won't look back on any decade with fondness like that except for the decade when I was a child - the eighties perhaps.

Then again, with the way things are going, I may look back on this decade in a similar way as being the one that saw the return of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
