Notable Quotable

This has to be the quote of the day from Ehud Olmert who said during his visit to Washington that he wants a quick peace deal:

"In principle there is nothing to prevent us from reaching an agreement on the core issues in the near future. We're in a situation where it's possible to do so, and I hope we do. It would be good for the state of Israel. I am ready to make that decision, and I hope the other side will make it as well. You don't need months to make a decision."

He also said he expects a "painful sacrifice," which is truly prophetic for all of us who know what is coming.
