Luke 21:10-11 reminds us of what Jesus said, "Then said he unto them, 'Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.'"
Want proof that we're living in those times He spoke of? The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earthquake Hazards Program has this handy little graph on their website that documents worldwide earthquakes between Magnitudes 6 and 8 since 1900. Not surprising. It seems pretty clear to me.
Guess what? The world is shaking! Things don't look so good as this is more compelling proof that we are living in the end times especially when you consider this evidence along with everything else that's going on in the world today.
Unfortunately, we haven't seen bad yet, but it's coming. We haven't seen financial problems yet, but they're coming. We haven't seen war like the one that's coming. Fear, death, and destruction are what's on the horizon - not sugar coated fairy tales that the people on TV spin for us daily.
The good news? Jesus Christ, the Son of God and our Lord and Savior, is our answer to all of these problems. He always has been, and always will be. He is the only One who can save us from what's to come.
I strongly encourage you to look in the mirror and get yourself right with God. Cling to Him now before it's too late!
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near." Luke 21:28
Keep looking up!
