A, B, C, ???, E, F - Gee, Where Did That Letter Go?

Friends, this is EXACTLY why we need to look at EVERYTHING we're told very closely in these end times, and consider the source (as well as look at multiple sources) before we make up our minds about a matter.

The latest example of a Liberal Left and pro-Democrat mainstream media bias can be found in just a casual observation of their coverage of the Illinois political scandal involving Governor Rod Blagojevich that's dominated the headlines this week.

Simply put, the corporate media has dropped the (D) in their coverage of this story.



I know my A,B,C's and the last time I checked it was A,B,C,???,E,F - Gee, where did that letter go!?! It's definitely missing!

"This is a pattern we've seen for many years, especially when it comes to scandal. We call it drop the (D). You see stories like this (Blagojevich)," all the time says NewsBusters Senior Editor Tim Graham.

While some print outlets just bury the Democratic label deep within an article, "a lot of times on television we're not seeing that (the party label) at all. We've seen that in the Blagojevich coverage. You could have watched CBS today and not found a single mention," that the indicted Illinois Governor is a Democrat, Graham added.

Graham was discussing the contrast between how the media ignore or downplay party labels for Democrats in trouble with the law, while trumpeting the Republican party affiliation of GOPers in legal or ethical hot water.

Graham also noted that the media have seldom in the past two years noted that it is Democrats who control the U.S. Congress, even as congressional poll numbers plummeted and the media harped on economic problems it chalked squarely up to the Bush administration.

This clip sums up how I feel about the media bias and their love affair for all things Obama that's been on display for the last few months. It's from a remarkable film from 1976. It's a movie made over 30 years ago, but one that perfectly describes the situation today about television, news, and the mainstream media. It resonates louder and sounds truer today than it did when the movie was made and originally released (NOTE: some bad language throughout this 4 minute clip).




It continues to amaze me just how widespread deception is in these end times, and how we as a society seem content to accept it as "business as usual" or "that's politics!" when we don't have to just shrug our shoulders, roll our eyes, shake our head, and act like it's no big deal.

We've become a morally bankrupt society. There's no longer any doubt about that as the week's biggest news story confirms. Anyone who tries to tell me there's no such thing as a media bias (or one that leans Left) is in serious denial at best, and completely dishonest at worst.
