Not sure if any of this is related or even cause for concern, but a couple of headlines today caught my eye and I felt like there could be a connection.
Computer Glitch Shuts Down Toronto Stock Exchange
Citibank's Computers Down, Blocking Account Info
My apologies to the Pope because the last thing I want to do is be an "alarmist" about this, but it just grabbed my attention today especially since I believe it was a cyber attack on India that preceded the Mumbai terror attacks a few weeks back (still looking for source story).
If these events here in North America are related what exactly does it mean? Is it a legitimate cyber attack? Are they merely probing our defenses? Is it just a glitch in the system?
Food for thought with the Russians playing with their boats in the pool in our own backyard.
Let's pray it's nothing.
