The Elephant In The Room

After today, let's hope we can no longer ignore the elephant in the room.

Well, I've been called a "lunatic, right-wing nut" who's "just bitter" over the Election results. I even had my own Aunt and Grandpa call me a "liar" because they believe those who write in their newspaper and speak on the television news they watch (people they've never met) than their own flesh and blood Christian nephew and grandson.

They wonder why the media would remain silent on what could be the story of the century since nothing like this have never happened in the history of our great nation. It's a good question, but one that has many good reasons why it's being ignored.

Yet, all you need to know about the media's love affair with this man is to take another look at the recent headlines about him. First, it was stories about the type of dog he and his family would choose to live with them in the White House. The media recently reported Barack Obama's choice of a corned beef sandwich for his lunch. The question about his Blackberry phone has gotten more media attention than the birth certificate question. The politicos and media that follow the President-elect are looking more like the paparazzi than a group of professional journalists. What's wrong with this picture?


For the past year, I've had to deal with some absurd and inexplicable responses from people to the question, "What is it you like about Barack Obama? Tell me one of his positions and/or policies you agree with." The most common answer I've received is that "he's smart, he speaks well, he's someone new, and we should just give the guy a chance after 8 years of the same thing." Nice.

Try to get them to answer serious questions about the guy's life, his political philosophies, and those he's lining up to serve in his administration and they simply refuse, and charge me with being a "pro-Republican, McCain supporter." When I tell them I didn't support McCain in an effort to get them to see that I'm only trying to be objective about everyone and everything it goes in one ear and out the other. Trust me, the spell "The One" has cast over people is real.

It's about time "We the people..." stood up, made some noise, and fought for the U.S. Constitution and this great blessing of a nation. We've been following this story for 4 months now and today's the day when we'll learn whether or not there are 4 out of the 9 U.S. Supreme Court Justices who are brave enough to do the right thing and defend our Constitution.

To do nothing would be to do an incredible dishonor to that judicial bench. Worse, it would officially signal the end of this great nation and give a free pass to deception. In essence, this is the last chance for our Constitution.

In the closing weeks of the Election, I became increasingly disturbed by the mainstream media's avoidance of forthright dealing with several controversies that had been dogging Obama - even as every flimsy rumor about Sarah Palin was being trumpeted as if it were engraved in stone on Mount Sinai.

For example, initially, I had thought for many months that the flap over Obama's birth certificate was a tempest in a teapot (akin to similar charges against McCain), but simple questions about his Birth Certificate were never resolved to my satisfaction. Thanks to our own blathering, fanatical overkill, of course, the right-wing challenges to the Birth Certificate never gained traction in the mainstream media. Even more surprising is the fact that "our own people" like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity amongst others have refused to give lip service to this topic.

More telling than the "media blackout" is the fact that Obama and the DNC could have ended the entire matter months ago by publicly requesting Hawaii to issue a fresh, long-form, stamped Certificate and inviting a few high profile reporters in to examine the document and photograph it. The campaign did make the "short-form" Certificate available to Factcheck.org, but as any astute surfer of the blogosphere knows, that website is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. No surprise there given Obama's role and involvement with Annenberg.

As a voter - as an American - I'm sure I speak for Republicans, Democrats, and Independents everywhere when I say that I don't like feeling gamed or played. Incredibly, we are just a few weeks away from inaugurating the next President of the United States and millions of Americans still have citizenship eligibility questions that have never been addressed by Barack Obama and his entourage. All that Barack Obama would have to do to put this issue to rest is to release his complete Birth Certificate, revealing where he was born and who were his parents. It seems a simple thing. So why the shroud of mystery?

Personally, I also originally doubted that the Democratic Party would be so stupid as to run an ineligible candidate for President of the United States. I doubted that Hillary Clinton would have accepted defeat at the hands of a candidate ineligible for the job. Then I remember the spiritual and prophetic connection and implications to all of this and it all begins to make much more sense.

Even if you remove that element from the equation (for any of my secular, non-religious readers) you're still left with a terrifying conclusion as it would seem Obama is simply thumbing his nose at the U.S. Constitution and the concerns of millions of American people that he is going to represent. Maybe his intransigence on this seemingly ridiculous matter is just his way of showing he will, as President, consider himself above the Constitution. I don't know any other way to interpret his behavior, do you?


As bizarre as this entire case has become the Birth Certificate is not our only concern here. Take a look at some of the other documents and records that have conveniently gone missing or that are just being blatantly withheld from the public for some strange reason:

Obama has lived for 48 years without leaving any footprints - none! There is no Obama documentation - no records, no paper trail, none - this is no accident. It is being done on purpose with the media's help, but to serve whom and why? Why don't we see a word of this in the mainstream media? Again, these are the traces of a spiritual and prophetic connection to all of this.

Love him or hate him, we all remember how the press went to great lengths to find out every move that President Bush made. Finally unable to come up with anything factual they decided to create "evidence" instead! When their accusations were proven empty, they refused to retract one word of the fraud they perpetrated on the American people! So, there's a precedent for this type of criminal behavior.

Dan Rather lost his job over fraudulent documents because common people like you and me reached out and ripped CBS to pieces. They couldn’t stand the loss of sponsors or viewers! We must not stand on the sidelines and sit this one out. Surely, God's perfect plan for this nation will not be altered, but that doesn't mean with should be passive about political affairs down here.

I mean, let's be honest. The same media went to great lengths to scandalize and destroy Sarah Palin, and yet she still maintains a high approval rating among voters thanks to the Internet and investigative journalists (and truth-seeking readers like you) who don’t work for or who aren't easily influenced by the mainstream media.

Now, we also have experts chiming in to also say that something doesn't quite smell right about all of this as this individual's video testimony asserts. At least we have some respected journalists who are still willing to find the facts and provide the public with the truth. In addition, we had some grassroots organizations pay for and publish full-page ads in some of the most well-known newspapers of record in Chicago, IL.

Hmmm, perhaps Obama knows that we're on to him and he's beginning to feel the heat. Otherwise, how else do you explain this story from last week? Plus, amid skeptical reports, the New American reported, "This story has gained credence, separating it from Internet rumors, because Obama has reputedly hired three law firms (firms, not lawyers) to make sure that no one gets access to his birth records in Hawaii or his college transcripts from Occidental College and Harvard." Obama can easily put the issue to rest by producing the document, rather than spending thousands of dollars on attorneys to defy federal and state lawsuits. Lastly, an associate lawyer in a Chicago-based firm whose partner served on a finance committee for then Senator Barack Obama has advocated for the elimination of the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural-born" citizen, calling the requirement "stupid" and asserting it discriminates, is outdated and undemocratic.

Classic display of "diversion" if I've ever seen one! Could this be the mainstream media's way of attempting to create a "smokescreen" just in case the Supreme Court ruins their plans today and forces them to cover the Obama story? I mean, it's uncanny that today - for the first time all week and on the very day the Obama constitutional eligibility issue is being decided - they begin reporting on this subject involving Hillary Clinton when the announcement of Clinton being picked for this role was done on Monday! This is absolutely absurd that they would focus on this story for the position of Secretary of State, and ignore the SAME QUESTIONS CONCERNING CONSTITUTIONAL ELIGIBILITY for the position of President of the United States! I mean, there wasn't a single word about it for the past few days until now.

Interesting indeed. Nothing to see here. Move along now.


In the end, as a Christian I recognize God's providence in the matter and so if Obama officially becomes our next President in January then so be it. However, if nothing else, I hope that the U.S. Supreme Court will do their job and help this story become more mainstream so that other people's eyes will finally be open to the truth of what's going on in the world around them.

This is not a fantasy. This is not a conspiracy. This is a criminal, unconstitutional act if allowed to proceed unchallenged.

We the people have a right to know who our elected officials are, and especially those of us who did not vote for the man since he will be representing all of us.

If this movement is "garbage" as the DNC insists then I'm begging them to produce the evidence - a mere Birth Certificate that each of us has - and make us all look like complete fools, which would instantly make this entire story go away for good.

Yet, after all of this I should reiterate that this is NOT POLITICAL. As I stated in a post a few weeks back, this Election was a complete fraud from the beginning since BOTH CANDIDATES ARE LEGALLY INELIGIBLE TO RUN FOR OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES according to the specific rules outlined in the U.S. Constitution.

It's really NOT about overturning the election results, but making sure they're legal. This is about upholding the law, preserving the Constitution, and returning to the Election because we were given the choice of voting for two candidates that are legally ineligible. So, the results are a legal fiction! Doesn't that bother anyone?

Our votes are voided. We have a true blue constitutional crisis on our hands.

What do we do now? Pray for our nation.
