Before you vote, please consider what I'm calling the definitive Voter's Guide to Barack Obama and prayerfully consider these facts before you cast a vote in just a few short days from now.

YES, BARACK OBAMA REALLY IS A MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE

As Election Day rapidly approaches, many Americans are wondering why so many of their countrymen reject a genuine war hero with decades of experience, one whose pro-life, limited-government values pretty much reflect those of Middle America. Instead, these same countrymen are enthralled with a man who not only has no experience or qualifications for the job, but who is, in fact, the most radically left-wing major-party presidential candidate of our lifetime, having been mentored and supported for decades by terrorists (Ayers), communists (Davis), America-hating racists (Wright) and criminals (Rezko).
Doesn't make much sense, does it?

After all, in past presidential contests, Americans have flatly rejected ultraliberal candidates like McGovern, Mondale and Dukakis – and those guys weren't nearly as radicalized as Obama, who the nonpartisan National Journal rates as having the most left-wing voting record in the entire U.S. Senate – even more so than socialist Bernie Sanders! Moreover, recently it's been proven, despite his campaign's denials, that Obama was indeed a member of the socialist "New Party." And Obama himself confesses that during his college days he intentionally sought out Marxists as friends.

So, how do we explain all this? Why are so many of us eager to turn our nation, the greatest and noblest on earth, over to an angry-at-America, hardcore left-wing "change agent" who will – with the help of a like-minded, Democrat-dominated Congress and a liberal-activist federal judiciary – bring about radical "change" to every area of our lives? Just consider...

I. Obama is the most pro-abortion presidential candidate in history, having announced publicly: "The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act." This would remove all restrictions on abortion, including partial-birth abortion and parental notification laws, making America the abortion capital of the world. Of course, you know what kind of Supreme Court justices he would nominate, which as I have pointed out previously would end all hope of overturning Roe v. Wade in our lifetimes.


II. He's hands-down the most pro-homosexual candidate in history, promising to back virtually the entire radical "gay rights" agenda, including the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, essentially throwing open the door to gay marriage in all 50 states. And, as he proclaims in his "open letter to the LGBT community": "I have also called for us to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell." That will allow and encourage overt homosexuality throughout the armed forces, something military experts have long maintained will destroy the very fabric of America's armed services.


III. Sounds bad for Judeo-Christian values, you say? Dr. James Dobson's influential Focus on the Family organization analyzed issue after issue and predicts – are you ready for this? – "hardship," "persecution" and "suffering" as the fate of Christians if Obama becomes president.

IV. Obama "would be the most anti-gun president in American history," warns the National Rifle Association, which points out that he has supported a complete ban on handguns, voted to ban most rifle ammunition, and supported increasing the tax on guns by 500 percent.

V. Obama would devastate an already deeply troubled U.S. economy. Jacking up taxes, as he promises to do, during the worst financial crisis and credit meltdown since the Great Depression is breathtakingly foolish. No wonder three out of four CEOs of American companies say Obama would be a disaster. Apparently Obama, who constantly badmouths "CEOs" and "corporations," doesn't realize it is these very companies that create over 120 million of America's 140 million jobs (the rest being created by government).

VI. In order to throttle the troublesome talk radio truth-tellers who caused him so much trouble during the election season, and to reward his cheerleaders in the elite press, Obama will attempt to muzzle conservative talk radio by resurrecting the horrendous "Fairness Doctrine."

VII. Obama alone will be able to snatch defeat from the jaws of certain victory in Iraq. He is so weak, inexperienced and narcissistic, he will reflexively appease our nation's enemies and thereby encourage the growth of evil the world over. Millions will suffer as a direct result.

Then there's the issue of Obama's truly disturbing past. It seems that no matter how stunning the revelations – some of which are finally emerging, no thanks to a shockingly irresponsible and infantile "mainstream press" – they don't penetrate the public mind. Regardless of the evidence against him, people remain entranced by Obama...

I. Amidst ever-growing evidence of vote fraud in multiple states perpetrated by ACORN – the notorious left-wing group with which Obama, despite his public statements, has long and deep ties – the Obama campaign's lawyers are now arguing that the Justice Department should not investigate any vote fraud claims until after the election. Instead, say Obama's attorneys, Justice should investigate those citizens who have brought to light the evidence of voter fraud, for supposedly trying to intimidate poor people into not voting. And no wonder: Thirteen of Obama's own campaign workers in Ohio have confessed to have fraudulently voted in that crucial swing state.


II. Despite repeated indignant denials by the candidate and his campaign, Barack Obama was once a Muslim. If you question that fact as just a nasty "Internet rumor," examine for yourself Obama's registration papers to the Catholic school he attended in Indonesia, reproduced here by the Associated Press, which clearly indicate his religion at the time as "Islam." Much more troubling are the radical Islamist ties he maintains today, as respected Islam expert Daniel Pipes documents. Even rabid anti-Semite and leader of the radical Nation of Islam group, Louis Farrakhan, says "the Messiah is absolutely speaking" through Obama.


III. Which brings us to his most troubling association of all: Obama sat in the church pews for 20 years listening to and absorbing the anti-American, racist, hate-filled sermons of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who claims, among his other lunatic rants, that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks and deliberately created AIDS in order to commit genocide against black people. Wright's rage-filled preaching of "black liberation theology" – an anti-American, anti-White, Marxist philosophy disguised as Christianity – filled Obama's mind and soul for two decades, and they have unquestionably influenced his worldview. Sitting at the feet of Jeremiah Wright for two decades and being filled each week with such venom against America and white people can fairly be called a form of brainwashing. If you doubt this statement, try spending 30-60 minutes on YouTube and just listen to random video clips of Wright's "sermons." Then, imagine swallowing this poisonous concoction, in person, every week for 20 years. It would be transformative.

IV. One can go on and on, it's dizzying: Obama worked closely – for years – with William Ayers, a criminal and domestic terrorist who once bombed the Pentagon and other government buildings; there's absolutely compelling evidence – including independent scientific forensic analysis – showing that Ayers wrote all or part of Obama's best selling book "Dreams from My Father"; Obama received crucial funding and other financial benefits from notorious convicted Chicago criminal Tony Rezko; the Obama campaign refuses to produce a simple birth certificate to dispel persistent claims in multiple lawsuits that question the candidate's constitutional qualifications to be U.S. president – it goes on and on, and yet inexplicably, none of it seems to penetrate the minds of those entranced with Obama.

So again, the question: Why, despite a mountain of evidence utterly proving his profound unworthiness to be president, do so many millions of Americans worship Barack Obama? Let's take a closer look.

THE MAGIC OF ENVY

In recent decades, more and more Americans have been conditioned by politicians to depend on government to solve their problems. This is how demagogues have long operated. They demonize "the rich," implying they obtained their wealth by exploiting the downtrodden; they stir up racial hatreds at every opportunity; they endlessly bash business and CEOs as evil exploiters; they promise "social justice" and universal happiness if only we will elevate them to power over us.

They do all this by appealing to anger and envy. They know instinctively that if they can stir up and ignite these dark, addictive passions in all of us, they will create a large voting bloc of people dependent on them, and thus be rewarded with great power. In its purest form, this phenomenon is called Marxism, communism, socialism – the spiritual core of which is raw envy. This philosophy of cradle-to-grave security and "wealth redistribution" exerts a powerfully seductive grip on people who have not discovered true inner "government." As William Penn famously said, "Men must be governed by God or they will be ruled by tyrants."

Communism, of course, is atheistic – where the government is the only true god, the giver of blessings, the solver of problems, the dispenser of justice and mercy. This envy-based, class-warfare-fueled revolutionary system talks always of justice, fairness, progress – but the only progress it delivers is from freedom to slavery.

This is the appeal more and more Americans have been conditioned over the years to respond to, as we have progressively fallen away from the Judeo-Christian values that once animated our culture and institutions. The envy-based system Marx unleashed on the world is alive and well, and in different forms it still dominates large parts of the world. In America, it has taken root in the Democrat Party. Ronald Reagan may have destroyed the "evil empire" of the Soviet Union, but you cannot destroy evil itself. Evil remains, and continues to do its job of tempting and, if possible, corrupting the souls of men.

Even the encouragement of immorality – free sex, abortion, homosexuality, easy divorce and so on – is all part and parcel of the socialist modus operandi, because immoral, dysfunctional people who have crossed the moral line and thus become estranged from God now need the "god" of socialist government.

All of this, my friends, is what we're poised to elect as president in the person of Barack Obama.
This has been coming for quite awhile. Americans, many of us anyway, have become increasingly corrupted over the years. We've been conditioned by our leaders into voting for lying, unprincipled, seductive candidates. We almost elected certified wacko Al Gore as president – someone who seriously wants to outlaw the internal combustion engine. Then we almost elected John Kerry – a super-ambitious, unprincipled and thoroughly unlikable man who first achieved notoriety by betraying his Vietnam soldier colleagues, scandalously maligning them as baby-killers before Congress and the nation.

Now, we're very close to electing an even worse candidate – and the reasons for this tell us much about ourselves.

THE POWER OF GUILT

If you've ever studied disasters like the explosion of the Challenger Space Shuttle or the sinking of the Titanic, you'll find there was not just one reason, but a whole series of factors that seemingly conspired to cause the catastrophe.

One of the "aiding and abetting" factors in the current election is the fact that Obama is black. Let's talk about race.

Americans – even though slavery and segregation are long gone from the national scene – still have a large and understandable reservoir of collective guilt over its past exploitation and mistreatment of blacks.

Guilt is a fantastically powerful factor in all of our lives. It is a very uncomfortable, nagging pain in our conscience, this thing we call guilt. When we're guilty we try to relieve this inner conflict, and this is often a good thing. If we're guilty toward God, for instance, then we naturally want to make up for that guilt by finding reconciliation and obedience to Him. If we've wronged our neighbor and our conscience bothers us, that guilt is the valuable, redeeming factor that prods us to apologize and make restitution if appropriate. Without being able to experience a guilty conscience, we'd all be amoral psychopaths – literally oblivious to whether or not we had done anything wrong.

However, there's another side to guilt. Manipulative and unprincipled humans soon discover how to use our guilt to get their way. They can even make us feel guilty when we haven't done anything wrong – for instance, by way of false accusation, a tactic the left has perfected.

Now, Barack Obama obviously is not to blame for being black – or more to the point, for how people feel about him because of his race. But the fact is, his being black pushes the guilt button in most of us and we simply see him differently than we would if he were white. (Imagine voting for a white guy with such flimsy credentials and ominous associations.) With white voters in particular, there is a strong urge to finally move beyond our collective guilt over slavery and to prove, once and for all, that we're not a nation beset by racism – by electing a black president.

It's not an exaggeration to call this guilt-induced way of looking at Obama, this conditioned attitude, a type of trance. We hold him to a different standard, we see and feel differently about him, than we would if he were white. We have a kindliness, a desire for his success, a form of love and admiration and well-wishing toward Obama, all based on guilt. But love based on guilt is not real love. It's just an unconscious attempt to rid ourselves of guilt. Shelby Steele, author of "White Guilt: How Blacks and Whites Together Destroyed the Promise of the Civil Rights Era," puts it this way: "[Americans] struggle, above all else, to dissociate themselves from the past sins they are stigmatized with."

Yet this guilt phenomenon is also why craven race-baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton still command media respect as "black leaders." We see them through the "white guilt trance," part of which means we're really afraid of being regarded as racists, so we don't criticize these men for their blatant serial demagoguery. Likewise with Obama, there is a great deal of hesitancy to criticize him out of fear of being thought a racist.

You might respond to this by saying: But I don't have any guilt over slavery or segregation. Fine, but it gets much subtler than that.

Did you ever get angry at your kids – and then find yourself "being nice" to them to make up for the guilt of having been impatient? With that in mind, consider just one of many ways guilt (in this case, racial guilt) can find its way into you: Let's say you're walking down the street and a group of black men are walking toward you, and you become fearful (very similar to the story Obama famously told about his white grandmother). That fear has a little resentment attached to it, for that's the nature of fear. But when you become resentful for any reason at all, you automatically incur guilt, because resentment is a wrong, failing way for mature human beings to respond to the stresses of life. Now, saddled with this new guilt associated with black people, a compulsion rises up from within you to make up for that guilt – which you do by discovering a mysterious affinity for black people that wasn't there before. But that "love" isn't real love – it's all rooted in guilt and resentment (just like when you got impatient with your kids, then suddenly became "nice" to them to compensate for your anger). Although my example here centers on race, this guilt principle is universal. Indeed, guilt-based false love is the basis of the ubiquitous "love-hate relationship" that so vexes the human race; hate easily turns into false love, to make up for the guilt of hating. Do you get it?

It's subtle, but this is exactly the kind of dynamic that leads to self-destructive relationships – from personal relationships to electing tyrants.

THE OBAMA NEWS NETWORK

A third factor, shaped powerfully by both the secular love of government and the white guilt factor just discussed, is the incomprehensibly unprofessional way the news media have behaved during the 2008 election.

In my estimation, we basically don't have a free press in America any more, other than the "New Media" – that is, talk radio, the Internet and some cable TV. Most of the rest of the establishment media have pretty much committed suicide this year.

Just imagine that radical activist groups like the ACLU or the strident abortion outfit NARAL decided to start up their own "news organizations," complete with broadcast "anchor people," "reporters" and "correspondents," as well as newspapers and news websites and so on – and with a straight face they called their output "news." Everybody would laugh. Why? Because, while it would have the familiar form of news, it would of course just have the substance of their radical propaganda. No one would take it seriously.

This is exactly what we have in the so-called "mainstream press" today. The New York Times and NBC News, for example, are not true news organizations any more. They've become political and cultural activist organizations pretending to do news. And after having dropped all pretense at fairness this year, everyone knows it. This is why they're more concerned about Joe the plumber's tax bill than about the election being stolen by ACORN – because the elite media have become nothing more nor less than the propaganda ministry and attack dogs for Barack Obama.

OBAMA, THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE

In the classic 1962 movie thriller "The Manchurian Candidate," a man was programmed by communist handlers, and then emerged into the public arena as a hero, with a largely manufactured history, large parts of which were either obscured or changed. Then he was planted into a position of great influence, having been programmed to usher in tremendous change at the appointed time.

Barack Obama was programmed for years by his atheist, Muslim father, by the communist sex pervert Frank Marshall Davis, by con man Tony Rezko, by domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and others – most of all by black liberation theology screamer Jeremiah Wright. Obama's resume is largely manufactured. There is a total blackout on his college years. His campaign obscures what he did as a "community organizer." All his radical associations are denied or minimized. His miserable legislative record (voting "present" over 100 times to avoid taking a stand), his lack of achievement, his radical views and so on – all have been laundered through the magic of public relations into the near-sacred saga of "The One" who has been sent to serve, and to save, America.

Yet, as I have documented previously, John McCain rendered more genuine service to his country each and every day of those five-and-a-half years he endured in a North Vietnamese prison than Barack Obama has in his entire life.

In "The Manchurian Candidate," several war heroes came back to America from abroad. But one of them harbored a dark agenda, lying in wait, secretly, until it could emerge and transform America.

America has a choice Tuesday between a genuine war hero and a genuine Manchurian candidate. Choose well.

Archaeologists in Israel said on Thursday they had unearthed the oldest Hebrew text ever found, while excavating a fortress city overlooking a valley where the Bible says David slew Goliath.

The dig's uncovering of the past near the ancient battlefield in the Valley of Elah could have implications for the emotional debate over the the future of Jerusalem, some 12 miles away.

Archaeologists from the Hebrew University said they found five lines of text written in black ink on a shard of pottery dug up at a five-acre site called Elah Fortress, or Khirbet Qeiyafa.

Experts have not yet been able to decipher the text fully, but carbon dating of artifacts found at the site indicates the Hebrew inscription was written about 3,000 years ago, predating the Dead Sea Scrolls by 1,000 years, the archaeologists said.

Several words, including "judge," "slave" and "king," could be identified by the experts. In a finding that could have symbolic value for Israel, the archaeologists said other items discovered at the fortress dig indicated there was most likely a strong king and central government in Jerusalem during the period scholars believe that David ruled the holy city and ancient Israel.

Modern-day Israel often cites a biblical connection through David to Jerusalem in supporting its claim, which has not won recognition internationally, to all of the city as its "eternal and indivisible capital."

I will personally wait on pins and needles for the experts to decipher the text in full to see what the Lord might be trying to tell us. You'll recall a similarly remarkable - and timely - find awhile back regarding Psalm 83 found in that Irish bog.

Regardless of what it says, this is yet another discovery from a secular group of scholars and experts that proves the validity of the Bible.

If finds like these prove that the Bible is true then we need to take it's unfulfilled prophecies for these end times seriously because it's only a matter of time until the occur.

I've been watching the news closely the past few days certain that we would receive some sort of "October Surprise" in the form of a "startling revelation" regarding Barack Obama's citizenship and legal status as a viable candidate for the office of president of the United States.

Tonight, it seems one may be coming although I fear what it could lead to and possibly mean for the American people.

As many of you probably know by now, Philip J. Berg (a registered Democrat and lawyer from Philadelphia, PA) filed a lawsuit about two months back against Obama because he believes that Obama doesn't meet the criteria to run for president. Specifically, that Obama is not a natural-born citizen.


Berg demanded that Obama provide documentation to the court to verify that the candidate was born in Hawaii, as Obama contends, and not in Kenya, as Berg believes. The fact that there is hard evidence (leagl documents; school records) that suggests Berg may be on to something (as well as the personal testimony from his living grandmother that contradicts Obama's own story), not to mention the fact that you and I have to show more proof of citizenship and residency when we register our kids to play little league baseball, is fueling this entire fire that could become a powder keg if not contained by being addressed right away.

For Berg, it's not a matter of whether or not Obama is a U.S. citizen, it's about whether or not he is a natural-born citizen. He has reason to believe that Obama was born in Kenya and was a citizen of Indonesia before moving to Hawaii. He took this to court in August and filed a lawsuit to have the official documents revealed.

However, as recently reported, a federal judge dismissed the complaint claiming Berg lacks standing to bring the action.

The 34-page memorandum that accompanied the court order from Judge R. Barclay Surrick concluded ordinary citizens can't sue to ensure that a presidential candidate actually meets the constitutional requirements of the office.

Instead, Surrick said Congress could determine "that citizens, voters, or party members should police the Constitution's eligibility requirements for the Presidency," but that it would take new laws to grant individual citizens that ability.

"Until that time," Surrick says, "voters do not have standing to bring the sort of challenge that Plaintiff attempts to bring."

"This is a question of who has standing to stand up for our Constitution," Berg told Jeff Schreiber of America's Right blog. "If I don't have standing, if you don't have standing, if your neighbor doesn't have standing to ask whether or not the likely next president of the United States - the most powerful man in the entire world - is eligible to be in that office in the first place, then who does?"

This lawyer insists that if Obama has nothing to hide, then he shouldn't be hiding. More on this can be found at Jubilee On Earth.

The U.S. Constitution clearly states that in order to run for the U.S. Presidency, a candidate must qualify three criteria:

1) Be at least 35 years old
2) Live in the U.S. for at least 14 years
3) Be a natural born-citizen

Suspiciously, within days of this ruling in response to the lawsuit against Obama, the Senator himself travelled to Kenya to visit the one person whose testimony had contradicted his version of event this entire time - his dear grandmother. Then, as if he wasn't satisfied with giving those of us who have been researching this enough reason to view him suspiciously, he stopped in Hawaii on his way back from Kenya.

So what? Why is that even relevant to this story?

Well, it's relevant when the Hawaii Governor announced - on the same weekend - that Obama's birth certificate was now sealed and that only he can make a request to obtain the original document.

Suspicious? No, not at all. Again, if there's nothing to hide then why not just come clean and produce the evidence and make your accusers look bad?

Even though this particular story is dramatic enough it doesn't end there. A Warren County magistrate said he’ll decide tomorrow whether Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner has to get proof that Barack Obama was born in the United States.

David M. Neal, a Turtlecreek Township resident who runs a political website, filed suit last week, saying state and federal government leaders have failed to verify that Obama was born in Hawaii, instead of Kenya. Neal says he’s part of a nationwide grass-roots movement that has questioned Obama’s birthplace and qualification to run for president. Neal’s complaint asserts that Obama’s Internet site does not disclose the name of the hospital where Obama was born and that an original long version of the birth certificate should be made available before the election. He also contends that Obama should be removed from the Ohio ballot if Brunner can’t confirm that Obama was born in the United States.

It gets better (or worse depending on your perspective).

Now, tonight we learn that the U.S. Supreme Court is being asked to help the nation avoid a constitutional crisis by halting Tuesday's election until Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama documents his eligibility to run for the top office in the nation.

Berg has maintained that uncertainty about how the U.S. does enforce the requirements of presidency may result in a constitutional crisis should an ineligible candidate win the office. In a statement today, Berg said he is applying to Justice David Souter for an "Immediate Injunction to Stay the Presidential Election of November 4, 2008."

"I am hopeful that the U.S. Supreme Court will grant the injunction pending a review of this case to avoid a Constitutional crisis by insisting that Obama produce certified documentation that he is or is not a "natural born" citizen and if he cannot produce documentation that Obama be removed from the ballot for president," Berg said.

"We must legally prevent Obama, the unqualified candidate, from taking the office of the presidency of the United States," Berg said.

Folks, this is threatening to becoming serious business and all because we looked the other way and allowed the mainstream media to get away with not doing their job properly by asking these tough questions and performing a little investigative journalism.

Even Hillary Clinton tried to raise the issue and give them a solid lead when she questioned his candidacy for the very same reasons during the primary season, but the media did nothing except look the other way and swoon over the notion of "change" from their "savior" Barack Obama.

This is what Harold Ickes, a longtime advisory to both Bill and Hillary Clinton, told Mark Halperin of Time's The Page back in May: “We don’t know enough about Senator Obama yet. We don’t need an October Surprise. And (the chance of) an October Surprise with Hillary is remote.”

Before wrapping things up, let's also consider a number of news headlines that could also prove to be prescient if it turns out they're related. At the very least, together they create a very plausible scenario.

Remember a few weeks back when I reported on how the U.S. military - for the first time in its history - was being put into position across the nation to be used as a police force against the American public in the event of some sort of crisis? In that column, we examined the very real possibility of Martial Law becoming a frightening reality for any number of reasons - a perceived terrorist threat and/or the economic meltdown. Can we now add a perceived constitutional crisis and/or suspension of the election to that list? All conjecture, but certainly plausible.

Remember a few weeks back when the media began reporting on widespread cases of voter tampering and voter fraud thanks to Obama affiliated groups known as ACORN? Some analysts suggest that as the evidence mounts the results of the election could be challenged due to charges of fraud on a mass scale. Does anyone else see the potential for riots in the event that Obama loses when all the polling is telling us he's going to win in a landslide? I can.

A few days ago, Erica Jong, the author and self-described feminist, gave an interview to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera when she said that an Obama Loss "will spark the second American Civil War. Blood will run in the streets." Basically, Jong says her fear that Obama might lose the election has developed into an "obsession...a paralyzing terror...an anxious fever that keeps you awake at night." She also says that her friends Jane Fonda and Naomi Wolf are extremely worried that Obama will be sabotaged by Republican dirty tricks, and that if an Obama loss indeed comes to pass, the result will be a second American Civil War. Seems to bolster the scenario I just touched upon.

Last but not least, today we received news that there's a new video showing a West Virginia voting machine erratically switching votes, and it's getting international attention – with nearly 400,000 hits on YouTube already! A Berkeley, CA organization, Video The Vote, recently recorded Jackson County Clerk Jeff Waybright attempting to illustrate the reliability of voting machines, saying he was unable to reproduce a reported vote-switching problem. "We are totally transparent around here," he said. "We welcome anyone who would like to see how the machines operate and how the machines function." The voter machine erratically switched the selection as the equipment picked Ralph Nader when John McCain was chosen in front of everyone! Again, seems to support the above scenarios as possible outcomes from this whole mess.

Does anyone else get the feeling like we could be staring down the barrel of a gun here? It's almost like there's only one bullet - only one outcome that can take place - none of which would be good for the integrity of this election let alone this nation for that matter. We don't yet know which pull of the trigger will release which bullet (if any) so instead we simply sit and wait for things to happen why the mainstream media continues to ignore the obvious.

Simple questions remain.

Why not just produce the information asked for and put this to rest so we can move on to other issues? Why fight so hard against producing the information that should be right at your fingertips? Why is it so important to fight against producing the info instead of just getting it out in the open and over with and moving on? This is a great question since it seems to be such a big deal for the Democrats and the Obama campaign that Obama not be forced to produce information asked for.

Again, these are all really simple questions, and for some reason the Obama campaign does not wish to produce the relevant documents that could make this whole issue go away for good.

Produce the documents - if they exist - and let us get on to relevant issues like voting on Tuesday. If Obama cannot produce the documents then the question of WHY becomes a relevant issue - and we have a serious problem on our hands.

Whatever happens, the next few days promise to be historic if not entertaining. At the same time, let's take our responsibility seriously, do our part, and leave the rest in His perfectly capable hands. Let's also pray for God to have mercy on us and to not send us the judgment - and leader - we so rightly deserve.

A sad and interesting turn of events from this past weekend when Robert H. Schuller, founder of the Crystal Cathedral and the "Hour of Power" television ministry, announced that he had removed his son, Robert A. Schuller, as host of the television ministry.

Robert A. Schuller, known to congregants as Robert II, had been groomed to take over for his father since 1996. He had followed in his father's footsteps almost exactly, attending the same college, Hope College in Holland, Mich. He also founded his own Orange County church, in San Juan Capistrano, before coming to the Crystal Cathedral seven years ago.

Like his father, he also writes religious books - 13 at last count, according to the church's website. In recent months, however, the younger Schuller had disappeared from the television program, replaced by reruns featuring his father.

The reason for the split?

"It is no secret to any of you that my son, Robert, and I have been struggling as we each have different ideas as to the direction and the vision for this ministry as we move into the future," the elder Schuller stated in a statement published on the church's Web site.

"For this lack of shared vision and the jeopardy in which this is placing this entire ministry, it has become necessary for Robert and me to part ways in the Hour of Power television ministry to each pursue our own unique God-ordained visions."

However, as one columnist suspects, the truth of the matter could be much more sinister - the son was fired for preaching too much Bible.

Here is the really interesting part of the report:

Schuller built his worldwide ministry over a half century on the psychology of positive thinking and appealing to people turned off by the formality of traditional faiths. In contrast, his son's sermons have been full of direct references to the Bible.

"I was called to start a mission, not a church," Schuller told his audience Sunday. "There is a difference. . . . You don't try to preach . . . what is sin and what isn't sin. A mission is a place where you ask nonbelievers to come and find faith and hope and feel love. We're a mission first, a church second."

These comments indicate something beyond a disagreement over having multiple preachers on the television program. Was the younger Schuller ousted because he was preaching sermons the father considered to be too biblical in content?

In the elder Schuller's view, preaching "what is sin and isn't sin" is out of bounds for his television program. He explicitly identified the Crystal Cathedral as a "mission" first and then a church, with preaching about sin evidently out of bounds for a "mission."

As the paper explains: "Asked whether his son wanted to turn the Crystal Cathedral into a church rather than a mission, Schuller declined to answer, then said, 'But I think it is a wise question.'"

Unbelievable! Unfortunately, this is the problem with many mega-churches and church leaders today. They'd rather be pop psychologists and life coaches before being men of God.

This entire movement that says we need to change the Gospel and the message of the Bible in order to make it more palatable to the lost is a severely misguided one. The problem isn't God's Word - it's God's people.

The Scriptures have the same life-changing power today as they did yesterday. To attempt to change that is arrogant, disobedient, blasphemous, and destructive.

Does anyone else find this whole thing ironic as well? I mean, here we have the very public display of a messy relationship between a father and his son. It should speak volumes to us given the world majority's messy relationship between the Father and His sons and daughters.

Simply more proof that we are living in the times Jesus described for us when asked about the last days.

Today I was reminded - yet again - why I have a serious problem with presidential candidate Barack Obama. The guy is a hypocrite. Plain and simple.

As if we needed more proof, the headline that caught my attention this morning was "Found In A Rundown Boston Estate: Barack Obama’s Aunt Zeituni Onyango" and it was an expose by The UK Times Online Newspaper.

Let me start by once again stating that I'm not voting for John McCain despite my strong conservative beliefs. So, the charge that I'm merely trying to do what I can to "help my candidate win" just won't cut it here.

I simply want to ask the kinds of questions that are on my mind (the kinds that I believe the rest of the country is thinking about too) that I feel the mainstream media is ignoring.

For all the talk the past few weeks about Obama being "for the people" and about how he wants to "redistribute the wealth" to help others in need, isn't it a little surprising then to read a story like this about his family?

Only a few miles from where the Democratic presidential candidate studied at Harvard, his Kenyan aunt and uncle, immigrants living in modest circumstances in Boston, live in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.

Here's a simple, valid question that isn't being asked as a follow-up to this news: Do you really, truly believe that a man who cannot - will not - help his own family (despite his ability to) is actually going to care more about you, someone he's never met and isn't even related to?

I'm sorry, but for all the talk of his Christian roots and beliefs that doesn't seem like the "Christian" thing to do to me.

I'm not nieve either. I understand that family relationships can be...complicated. Sure, we all probably wish we can help out in times of need, but I'm sure there's a part of us thanks to our humn nature that sometimes thinks that it's not our place to help fix our family for the choices and mistakes that they've made in their lives. I'm sure that even the best intentioned individuals experience that from time to time.

Yet, what makes this story different and my charge fair game is the fact that this is the very same aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father. To write about her so lovingly in one instance only to ignore her in reality comes off as being very disingenuous.

This is just another example of how Obama's actions speak louder than his words.

Not everyone knows exactly what many of these terms mean. I know I had a tough time learning them when I first became interested in Bible prophecy.

So, thanks to Prophecy Fellowship, I thought it might help us to take a look at the prophetic glossary and dictionary.

The first part includes the different views pertaining to prophecy. By understanding these, it helps us to "see" where others, holding different doctrinal views on end time scriptures, are coming from. The second part includes a glossary of commonly used terms in biblical prophecy.

I should probably note that my intention is to try and help those who are new to eschatology (the study of prophecy) by giving them a list of all the terminology they'll most likely encounter.

At the same time, I should also mention that I believe it's clear that there can be no question as to what all these terms mean, and that anyone doing serious Bible study will see why and how some of these "perspectives" simply cannot possibly be true and accurate interpretations. They key? Scripture does not contradict itself!



PERSPECTIVES, GLOSSARY AND DEFINITIONS

Amillennialism
Belief that there is not going to be a literal millennium before or after Christ returns to earth. Uses a allegorical or symbolic approach to prophecy.

Dispensational Pre-Millennialism
Belief that the 2nd coming of Christ will happen in 2 stages. The 1st stage is the Rapture of the Church prior to the 7 year Tribulation period. The 2nd stage is when Christ returns with His Church to reign on earth.

Historical Pre-Millennialism
Belief that the rapture and the 2nd coming will happen at the same time as Christ's return to earth...before the Millennial Kingdom.

Post Millennialism
Belief that Christ will not return until after the Millennium. Believe there is no distinction between the Rapture of the Church and the 2nd coming.

Abomination of Desolation
When the Antichrist sits down in the rebuilt Jewish Temple and declares himself to be God, the great Tribulation of 42 months will then begin. At the occurrence of this event, the Jews living in Israel are commanded to flee into the wilderness. All tribulation saints will know, from that day on, they must now wait 1260 days before the Lord returns. (Daniel 9:27), (Matthew 24:15-19)

Amillenialism:(prefix "a" = "no")
The belief that there is no literal 1000-year reign of Christ. Thus, Revelation 20 is taken symbolically, not literally, by adherents of this view. Amillennialists generally believe that Israel has been permanently set aside for all time and that God's current plan of salvation involves only the Church.

Antichrist
Often described as the most evil man that will ever live. He will arrive on the world scene and appear to be the world's savior, but everyone on earth will soon learn his real mission will be one of destruction. Also called the man of lawlessness (or sin), Gog, the son of destruction (or perdition) (1 John 2:18), (Revelation 13:1-8)

This one's for the skeptics who don't believe in God, His Holy Bible, or the prophecies written upon its pages. This one's also for those Christians who believe in God and read their Bible, but who just can't accept that we might be living in the prophesied "end times" at the moment.

The thinking goes that there have been generations past that have believed theirs was the one that would see the return of Jesus Christ after the fulfillment of the last days prophecies. That never materialized so why should we waste our time thinking the same thing? Plus, why focus on all the "doom-and-gloom" associated with the subject? Life is bad enough these days. Do we really want to add more stress to our lives?

Sadly, there's far too many people who fall into one of these two categories and who exhibit this type of thinking on one of the most important areas of Christianity despite the litany of evidence to suggest that they should stop ignoring the facts and begin acknowledging the truth.

For instance, let's just look at the current political, cultural, social, religious, and economic landscape as it exists today. Then, you can tell me if you still think there's no reason to believe that we could very well be in the midst of the end times that Jesus warned us about.

Please prayerfully consider the following:

In mid-November world leaders will gather in Washington, D.C. to discuss how they can create a new international financial system - a one-world economy - in response to the global financial crisis. The European Union is leading the way. Could this be the catalyst for establishing a one-world economy?

The Alliance of Civilizations, a UN-led project initiated by Turkey and Spain to promote dialogue and cooperation between different cultures of the East and the West, is gaining traction across the globe. Could this be the tool that is used to create a one-world religious system? Watch the following video and judge for yourself.



The world is swooning over the prospect of a President Barack Obama who has said - forget about simply the U.S. - he wants to change the entire world! Even the United Nations has thrown its full and unbridled support behind this man. It's fascinating to me that it is precisely at this moment in time, this moment in American history, that we are given a candidate who exhibits all the traits and beliefs that are needed to help destroy borders and nationalism and instead usher in global governance. Could a President Barack Obama be exactly the type of person that needs to be in place as leader of the United States in order to help Western civilization create a one-world political government body?

I chose these three news stories for a reason. They clearly demonstrate that we, more than any generation before us, have more reason to believe that we're living in the prophesied end times that Jesus spoke of.

Why? Well, simply put, these are just three of the many specific prophecies that the Bible (some prophetic books written 2,000+ years ago!) talked about that are happening - for the first time - right before our very eyes! I mean, we haven't even mentioned these developments in relation to other prophetically significant headlines of the day like Israel, Iran, the Middle East, Russia, Biotechnology/Cloning, Religious Persecution, Extreme Weather, and Immorality.

The key difference between then and now is that this is not only the first time that all these specific prophecies are occuring, but also the fact that they're all happening at the same time is what should give us pause and get our undivided attention.

The Bible is clear: The end times, last days, Tribulation (however you choose to label this time period) will need a "one-world everything" to be in place in order for the Antichrist to be able to rise to power by taking control of that global apparatus and using it to exert his will upon humanity.

Surely, the pieces are being moved into place at a rapid pace these days. I strongly urge you to prayerfully consider these facts and share the good news of the Gospel with others before it's too late.

Want more on Biden's "international crisis" we told you about last week? Here's the latest - from the Pentagon.

The chairman of a key Pentagon advisory panel has echoed recent claims by both Joe Biden and Colin Powell, warning that the next administration will face an international crisis within months of taking office.

Michael Bayer, chairman of the Defense Business Board and veteran Pentagon consultant announced during a public meeting late last week that the new President should “prepare for a likely first-270-days crisis.”

Accordingly, the Defense Business Board says the new administration should set a goal to win Senate confirmation of key Pentagon posts in the first 30 days of the inauguration, in order to have a full team in place to deal with such a contingency, an Inside Defense report reveals.
The incoming administration “must not wait until June” to get assistant secretaries confirmed and October for deputy assistant secretaries to be Senate confirmed, Bayer’s briefing (PDF) states.

Under the heading “First 270 Days” appears the following list of Presidents with crisis events next to their names:


Especially disturbing about all of this (and in light of the above list) is the fact that Biden said it would be a "manufactured" crisis.

Take a look at the above list again. Given that the Iranian Revolution and the Bay of Pigs were both engineered by the CIA, and that the Gulf of Tonkin incident has historically been exposed as a "false flag" event, one wonders whether the coming crisis will constitute more of the same.

The latest warning of a “likely crisis” comes on the back of Joe Biden’s “guarantee” that an “international crisis” will unfold shortly after President Obama takes office.

“It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy,” Biden told an audience in Seattle earlier this month.

“Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.” Biden continued.

The assured tone with which Biden delivered his forecast was staggeringly convincing, and left the observer in no doubt that there will be a major world crisis shortly after Obama takes office.

“Mark my words, mark my words,” Biden stressed, adding that “tough” and “unpopular” foreign policy decisions will have to be made.

“I promise you it will occur,” Biden added, “As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it is going to happen.”

On the SAME DAY Biden made his prophesy, Colin Powell appeared on Meet The Press and stated “There’s going to be a crisis which will come along on the 21st, 22nd of January that we don’t even know about right now.”

It's hardly a "conspiracy theory" when high-ranking government officials "in the know" offer up such candor in such a bold (arrogant?) manner in a public forum.

Why isn't there more outrage and concern over these remarks? Why isn't the mainstream media doing their job as the watchdog for the American people? I mean, after all, when I mentioned this story to my mom the other day her reaction was sobering:

"If they know that a real threat exists so much so that they're telling us it's a certainty that it will happen why aren't they doing their job to protect us by trying to do everything they can to prevent something of that magnitude to happen?"

Information overload is another clear sign of the times we are living in.

Have you ever had a day where you feel like you have learned too much? I'll admith that there have been moments where I've truly felt overwhelmed by it all.

There are some days when I watch the news, read the headlines, listen to the radio and simply shake my head and ask myself, Why?

Why are things the way that they are?

Obviously, it's a rhetorical question because God and His Holy Bible tell me why, but it's still sad and frustrating nonetheless.

Take this recent story I found from the Family Research Council. What do abortion and hotels in New Jersey have in common? Apparently, quite a bit as lives are traded and/or used for dollars.

New Jersey Right to Life confirmed this week that two area hotels are offering discounted rooms to women who can prove they've had an abortion. Both the Clarion Hotel in Cherry Hill and the Quality Inn in Maple Shade reduce room rates by up to $50 for girls with a receipt from the nearby abortion center. The Quality Inn even goes so far as to give away "free pancake and egg breakfasts" to girls who can produce a stamped clinic pamphlet.

This is just cruel and unusual punishment and it should make all of us upset. According to volunteers from the area's "40 Days for Life" campaign, many of the patients leaving the Cherry Hill clinic are "alone, crying, and in extreme pain."

After their digoxin injections, these mothers are sent home or to area hotels to wait for their babies to die. The next day, they return to the clinic to deliver their dead children.

Unfortunately, the reason these women need a place to stay is because the clinics don't care enough about their health to monitor them overnight, despite the medical risks. That should be a clear signal to these hotels that local abortionists are harming women.

Do these area inns really want to facilitate the killing process? And, from a legal standpoint, are they prepared to incur the liability if any medical complications arise?

Of course, the hotels may honestly believe that theirs is a compassionate offer. Yet, even with the best of intentions, a discount like this only makes it more affordable for young girls to cross state lines for an abortion. As the Right to Life branch accurately points out, New Jersey doesn't have a parental notification law on the books, making it an even more attractive location for young girls who want to obtain an abortion without ever calling home.

Ironically, both the Quality Inn and the Clarion are part of an umbrella corporation called Choice Hotels International!


Fortunately, as of Friday, October 24, 2008 there has been a significant change to the hotels' stance on the issue. After just two days since FRC reported this gruesome story, the public's overwhelming response through phone calls and emails has resulted in an immediate change of policy.

FRC received a letter from the corporate office of Choice Hotels. It read, "'A copy of the Washington Update (dated October 22, 2008)... recently crossed my desk. It referenced two hotels within the Choice Hotels franchise system. The email message highlighted your organization's concerns regarding these hotels, and I wanted to take this opportunity to respond to you directly as this issue has been resolved. The Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, upon reflection, has ended the practice of offering special rates to patients of the Cherry Hill Women's Center... we do try to be sensitive to issues and questions raised when it is within our power to do so and we are happy to provide you with this positive update...' Sincerely, Anne Madison, Vice President, Corporate Communications, Choice Hotels International, Inc."

I applaud Choice Hotels for moving so swiftly to correct this problem and congratulate all of you who took the time to be pro-active and perhaps save a few lives in the process.

We're all sinners. What separates us from one another is whether or not we're willing to call sin by it's name and admit when it exists in our own lives. If we can, we'll find the path to forgiveness and salvation. If we can't, we'll continue to lead a life of deception that ultimately will lead us to eternal death.

Earlier today, I wrote that the Holy Bible is clear. God says homosexuality is wrong amongst many other things. Bottom line. End of story. It is black-and-white, right-and-wrong. You either agree with it all or you don't agree with any of it because it's the perfect Word of a perfect God.

As the father of two pre-school aged children, I cannot sit on the sidelines and remain silent when I feel that parental rights are under attack with the battleground being the impressionable hearts and minds of my young children.

That's why I want to call attention to the current battle being waged on the other side of the country. Make no mistake - what happens there will have a definite impact throughout the United States, which is why we need to pay attention and do what we can to support our fellow citizens there.



Proposition 8 is the California Marriage Protection Amendment. The entire text of Proposition 8 is as follows: "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid and recognized in California."

Proposition 8 is simple and straightforward. It contains the same 14 words that were previously approved in 2000 by over 61% of California voters: “Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.”

Because 4 activist judges in San Francisco wrongly overturned the people’s vote, the people need to pass this measure as a constitutional amendment to restore the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman.

Voting YES on Proposition 8 does 3 simple things:

1. It restores the definition of marriage to what the vast majority of California voters already approved and what Californians agree should be supported, not undermined.

2. It overturns the outrageous decision of 4 activist Supreme Court judges who ignored the will of the people.

3. It protects our children from being taught in public schools that “same-sex marriage” is the same as traditional marriage, and prevents other consequences to Californians who will be forced to not just be tolerant of gay lifestyles, but face mandatory compliance regardless of their personal beliefs.

The Supreme Court's decision to legalize same-sex marriage did not just overturn the will of California voters; it also redefined marriage for the rest of society, without ever asking the people themselves to accept this decision.

This decision has far-reaching consequences. For example, because public schools are already required to teach the role of marriage in society as part of the curriculum, schools will now be required to teach students that gay marriage is the same as traditional marriage, starting with kindergarteners.

By saying that a marriage is between "any two persons" rather than between a man and a woman, the Court decision has opened the door to any kind of "marriage." This undermines the value of marriage altogether at a time when we should be restoring marriage, not undermining it.

Proposition 8 is NOT an attack on gay couples and does not take away the rights that same-sex couples already have under California's domestic partner law. California law already grants domestic partners all the rights that a state can grant to a married couple. Gays have a right to their private lives, but not to change the definition of marriage for everyone else.

Passing Proposition 8 protects our children and places into the Constitution the simple definition that a marriage is between a man and a woman. Plus, it let's the people of California decide. Apparently, the government wants to decide things for us.

Now , the California Teachers Union has ignited "class Warfare" over Prop 8. In the week leading up to Halloween, the California Teacher's Association (CTA) has no intention of masking its agenda on marriage.

The 340,000-member organization - long considered a powerful branch of the radical Left - took a risky step recently by donating $1 million dollars to defeat Proposition 8.

The gift, which is now the largest contribution by any institutional donor to the ballot issue, raises the stakes in an already tense battle for parents' rights.

The CTA's own members, whose dues are fueling this opposition, are fuming. Many, like Randy Peart, are questioning what same-sex "marriage" has to do with education.

"It bothers me [that they're] spend[ing] my money on something I'm morally opposed to," she said. "Why not put that money into classrooms, into making a better place for these kids?"

But according to CTA President David Sanchez, "...[I]t's a civil rights issue." And he's right. This is a civil rights issue - for children who deserve to be raised by a mother and father.

The donation, CTA's second, should serve as a wake-up call for anyone who doesn't believe that schools are becoming dangerous incubators for the homosexual cause. If the union will stoop to using its dues to promote the homosexual agenda, then you can bet it will have no reservations about using its classrooms.

Just a couple of weeks ago, a San Francisco administrator took first graders on a field trip to their teacher's lesbian "wedding." How's that for indoctrination?

If California schools are promoting "teachable moments" like this for 5- and 6-year-olds, imagine what the middle and high school curriculums will look like! This is much more than a battle for marriage. It's a last stand for education and parents' rights.
