Martial Law: Plausibe Scenario Or Paranoid Delusion?

Is the prospect of Martial Law a plausible scenario or a paranoid delusion?

Conspiracy theorists have always claimed they have "inside knowledge" that the federal government was preparing for Martial Law in this country citing several political sources as well as various "Presidential Directives" and "Executive Orders" that are a matter of public record, and they've even referenced what they claim are going to be "prison camps" (or "safe zones") in our very near future.

Whatever your stance is on such claims, I've always taken them with a grain of salt - - as do most people I'm sure - - even despite what I know is going to transpire based on what Bible prophecy tells us. However, there's a growing body of evidence that seems to suggest that this is our nation's inevitable future, and that we might want to rethink our position on the subject for a moment.

First, let's recall that it was back in late September when this topic first came up here. A few weeks later, one presidential candidate joined the chorus to sound the alarm. Then, in a bizarre episode, Vice-President-elect Joe Biden spoke of a "mark my words" manufactured "international crisis" in which a President Barack Obama "will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions." Colin Powell even chimed in on the subject a few days later. Soon after, Richard Haass the President of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) added his input too. Then, of course, we got perhaps a preview of things to come (could this be what they want to prevent by instituting Martial Law on the streets of America?) Following that case study, we received news that more troops would be phased in to the current levels already serving as a sort of police force on American soil. Last, but certainly not least, we have been inundated since with story after story about the decline and ultimate demise of the United States of America.

So what gives? And why are we revisiting this topic today? Well, I recently came across a 3-part discussion between Steve Quayle and Alex Jones simply titled "The End Game Is Here!!!" which was conducted just the other day. Personally, I don't care too much for Alex Jones, but Steve Quayle I have a lot of respect for and always perk up whenever he has something to say. Check out this discussion for yourself.

So there it is in no uncertain terms - - Martial Law will become a reality for all American citizens at some point within the next 90 days.

Do you believe them? Don't think Martial Law could ever happen here? Think again. Here's a quick summary of all the instances - - 7 in total (5 within the last 100 years; 1 only 3 years ago!) - - of Martial Law being enforced within the borders of the continental United States.

The important thing to remember about this is that it wouldn't take much for the government to declare Martial Law. We always seem to think of it in the context of World War III breaking out or something of that magnitude when the reality is much more frightening. A nuclear attack is what our minds always think of as what would precipitate the implementation of Martial Law on a national scale, but actually any "national emergency" - - any occurrence, including a natural disaster (think about the recent rumblings from Yellowstone?), military attack, technological emergency (yep, this was in the news just the other day too!), or other emergency, that seriously degrades or seriously threatens the national security of the United States.

Thus, there is not only a precedent in this country for this to occur, but also a legal document in place that would allow for it to happen again, and in response to any number of scenarios aside from solely a nuclear attack on the homeland. So, the only question that remains is whether or not Martial Law is right around the corner or simply a tool that will remain in our government's toolbox to be used if and when it is deemed absolutely necessary.

One can only guess at this point what will happen if anything. However, it's not too hard to envision a scenario involving Martial Law that could unfold should the economy get even worse and suddenly collapse altogether. It goes without saying that a devastating terrorist attack (one that dwarfs 9/11 as a means of "testing" Obama) could also create the necessary conditions needed to implement Martial Law.

Let's pray we never have to experience our own military serving as a police force on busy streets throughout this country.

Keep your eyes and ears open and do your own investigative reporting if you don't want to take my word for it (Google makes that quite easy these days). Examine the evidence for yourself and use your God-given brain to make your own conclusions. At the very least, you have just been given a recipe for success during a time when spiritual deception rules the day.

Most importantly, put your trust and protection in the Lord, and not in any government or military to save you. When and if a crisis occurs you'll be forced to fend for yourself anyway, and the greatest source of protection is to place your faith in the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
