GM Move Carefully Orchestrated?

The hits just keep on coming today! The spiritual deception continues.

Is there more behind the big General Motors (GM) news today? Could this move, in any way, indicate that a "Full Disclosure" type event is imminent?

As with all things here at Look Up Fellowship lately, I can assure you that the suggestion isn't as crazy as it seems on the surface.

In case you've been disconnected from the national news media for the past 24-48 hours, President Obama asserted unprecedented government control over the auto industry Monday, rejecting turnaround plans from General Motors and Chrysler and raising the prospect of controlled bankruptcy for either ailing auto giant.

Yet, the most shocking news came when it was announced that in an extraordinary move, the administration forced the departure of Rick Wagoner as CEO of General Motors over the weekend, and implicit in Obama's remarks was that the government holds the ability to pull the plug on that company or Chrysler.

On a side note, by my count GM lost $82 billion over the past 4 years and that's certainly a lot of money until you look at Wall Street. The financial "industry" blew through $700 billion in TARP funds in mere months! Why not “fire” Ed Liddy the CEO of AIG instead?

Here's where things get interesting.

I strongly urge everyone to read the commentary by Cryptogon titled "Obama Fired GM’s CEO; What’s Stirring Behind The Black Curtain?" While the author never really comes out and admits it, he does beat around the bush a bit and hint that this move could have some serious implications for this nation's immediate future.


Without going over everything he presents in his piece I'll just point out a few important facts:

> Board member Kent Kresa, the former chairman and CEO of defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp., was named interim chairman of the GM board.

> In addition to his work as a member of the board of GM, he’s also a Senior Advisor at the Carlyle Group. In other words, this directly links him to the black world of special access programs.

> In 1982 he was appointed Group Vice President of the company’s Aircraft Group and in 1986 was named Senior Vice President-Technology Development and Planning.

> Before joining Northrop Grumman, Mr. Kresa served with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where he was responsible for broad, applied research and development programs in the tactical and strategic defense arena.

> Kresa presided over Northrop Grumman’s acquisition of TRW, another firm heavily linked to black projects.

Kevin writes, "What does all of this mean for GM? I have no idea. But if something really, really strange happens, it might make much more sense in hindsight. What technologies might someone like Kent Kresa be tasked with providing to GM?"

That got me thinking. If a "Full Disclosure" type event were imminent it could involve the release of new technology and propulsion (anti-gravity?) systems into the open market.

It would make sense then for President Obama to hand-pick and then place a person like Kresa at the head of a company like GM were that to become our new real-world environment because he's exactly the type of individual Obama feels would be best suited to serve in that kind of role, at that kind of company, in that kind of new world of cutting edge technology and science.

Again, remember those important questions:

> What does all of this mean for GM?

> If something really, really strange happens, wouldn't this move make much more sense in hindsight?

> What technologies would someone like Kent Kresa be tasked with providing to GM?
