Are you aware of the fact that there's an unfulfilled, end times prophecy about the discovery of oil in Israel that will make her one of the richest nations in the world?
According to several Bible scholars and some prominent oil experts, Israel is sitting on a mother-lode of petroleum. Far more remarkable, the Bible actually tells us of a vast oil reserve, to be discovered in Israel in the last days!
Interestingly enough, a company by the name of Zion Oil & Gas Inc. is already well on their way to making this prophesied discovery. Even more amazing is the fact that the company's founders created the organization in direct response to these ancient prophecies! How's that for faith in action?

Pretty amazing stuff as these are certainly some exciting times! Soon after writing that article that appeared back in early January, I was contacted by a man by the name of Steven M. Spillman. This man of God informed me that his father had written an entire book on this very subject decades ago, and that after his father left us to be with the Lord in Heaven, the book was updated and re-released by his own hand and efforts.
The book is appropriately titled, "Breaking The Treasure Code: The Hunt For Israel's Oil" written by father and son team James R. Spillman and Steven M. Spillman. I strongly encourage anyone who's seriously interested in eschatology (mainly a subject of prophecy that's rarely discussed today) to pick up a copy of this treasure trove of research and revelation while there's still time.

So, there you have it. Many ringing endorsements from many reputable authors, religious leaders, and scholars. And all of this stems from an ancient Old Testament blessing. The fulfillment of the promises of Scripture to Ishmael and Jacob are nothing short of astonishing in their specificity.

A few weeks ago, I finished reading this book, which was sent to me as a gift, and I must say that it was without a doubt one of the best gifts I've received in quite some time. This review is long overdue, but perhaps right on time according to His perfect timing for all things great and small.
I've said it before, I think that the prophecy surrounding the major discovery of oil in Israel in the end times is the most often ignored aspect of eschatalogy that there is. Thankfully, the Spillmans have answered the call by providing us with an expert and anointed analysis of this ancient and breathtaking prophecy.
Most importantly, I also believe that it's no coincidence that their work is gaining more and more recognition these days in tandem with the success of Zion Oil because that fits the nature of our Lord who does EVERYTHING in His own perfect timing! Plus, anyone with the gift of discernment can clearly see that it's a prophecy whose fulfillment is truly imminent.
Why it was only a mere three weeks after my original entry on the subject when Noble Energy announced a natural gas discovery on its Tamar prospect, offshore Israel. The Tamar #1 well, located in 5,500 feet of water, was drilled to 16,000 feet and testing identified more than 460 feet of net pay in three high-quality reservoirs. Noble Energy's Chairman said, "...we are extremely excited by the results. This is one of the most significant prospects that we have ever tested and appears to be the largest discovery in the company's history."
He wasn't kidding! Israel's Minister of Infrastructure said, "We are witnessing a historic moment in Israel's energy market...we are talking about the biggest find in Israel's history." Analysts estimated the natural gas was worth about $26 billion and will be sold starting in 2013 (hmmm, there's that pesky 2013 date again!).
Friends, this has the potential to become BIG news at any moment. Could a major oil discovery ignite a major war over this precious natural resource? You bet it could! Do you realize what this discovery means!?! Simply put, there are no other pieces that need to be in place for the prophesied Gog-Magog War (and Psalm 83 War) to take place because we now have the "carrot" (oil) that will draw Russia and her allies to attack Israel!
Don't believe me? Get a load of this news from just a few short weeks ago. News of Russia’s interest in partnering in Israel’s Tamar-1 gas field came out in court the week of February 16th. A company called Gazprom has been trying to enter the Israeli energy market for years. When they heard about the Noble Energy discovery they immediately attempted to buy into it. Unfortunately, things didn't go as Gazprom had planned.
Missing out on the Tamar prospect is a major loss, because the gas discovery at the prospect would have enabled the company to become a major supplier to Israel and other countries in the Mediterranean Basin. The Tamar discovery also puts an end to possible Israeli gas imports from Russia via Turkey via the proposed undersea infrastructure conduit, which would have cost $2-$3 billion to build.
Folks, this cannot be overstated! Ezekiel 38 speaks of God putting “hooks” in the jaws of Gog (Russia), drawing her down into Israel. Very interesting that Russia is already at work to secure the Mediterranean energy market. Could this be the beginning? Stay tuned!
Ironically, and on a side note, the new Gazprom Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Russia will be the tallest building in Europe, which is odd since we just spent a ton of time in other articles this week studying the Tower of Babel.
