Last week, TIME Magazine had this eye-opening column titled "How Obama Is Using The Science Of Change" in which we find the following excerpt:
"Moffo then passed along guidelines and a sample script from the Consortium of Behavioral Scientists, a secret advisory group of 29 of the nation's leading behaviorists. The key guideline was a simple message: 'A Record Turnout Is Expected.' That's because studies by psychologist Robert Cialdini and other group members had found that the most powerful motivator for hotel guests to reuse towels, national-park visitors to stay on marked trails and citizens to vote is the suggestion that everyone is doing it. 'People want to do what they think others will do,' says Cialdini, author of the best seller Influence. 'The Obama campaign really got that.'"
That prompted Corrente to write the following in a commentary:
"For a good two years, now, Time Magazine has been putting out meta puff pieces on Obama on a reliable, weekly basis. The one I'm going to discuss from last week's edition by Michael Grunwald is not much different. But, this part caught my attention..."
The author then goes on to reference the following questionable excerpt from that original TIME Magazine piece:
"The existence of this behavioral dream team — which also included best-selling authors Dan Ariely of MIT (Predictably Irrational) and Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein of the University of Chicago (Nudge) as well as Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman of Princeton — has never been publicly disclosed, even though its members gave Obama white papers on messaging, fundraising and rumor control as well as voter mobilization. President Obama is still relying on behavioral science. But now his Administration is using it to try to transform the country. Because when you know what makes people tick, it's a lot easier to help them change."
Finally, Cannonfire references the entire saga on his website (sorry about the expletive in the title of his entry), and nails it when he writes:
"Damon at Corrente has an excellent piece on a Time magazine story which will spawn a dozen conspiracy theories. One could argue that, in this case, we have no need for theory. Obama's reliance on a secret team of behavioral scientists is, on its face, conspiratorial."
Spiritual deception in the halls of power in the highest levels of government in this country? Nah, it couldn't be! I don't believe it. (If you're new here, that was me being sarcastic).
I'm interested in hearing from all the "Obamabots" who see in him their salvation. How does this news sit with you? Are you ok with your President telling you what to do and what to think? Do you give him a free pass on this?
We all know that if the same story came out about Bush or any other Republican in office the lynch mob would "demand" removal from office or something else quite extreme. I'm just saying.
Anyway, just keep this in mind the name time the "We Are Change" circus comes to town in person or on your TV screen. Also, keep this in mind since Friday's studies in spiritual deception will blow you away and make this look like mere child's play.

not trying to be a downer here, but it seems to me that you spend alot of time worrying about politics. politicians are all the same! they are liers, cheaters and thiefs!!!! it does not matter what flag they happen to be wareing. they are all evil puppets of a bigger game!
and when we as CHRISTIANS spend time and energy on this, they have won the game! thier goal is to distract us from the big picture.
the big picture is a one world government, with lucifer at the helm!
we have to remember the elite cabal
controlls all governmemts. elections are just an illusion, to steer and passify the multitudes!
don't get me wrong, i'm not telling you what to do. it's just why spend so much time on something that has nothing to do with CHRIST !!!!!!!!!!

You're certainly not the first person to ask a similar question so I'll give you the same answer I gave them in the past.
I always try to set out and write my columns not just for people like you and I who already "get it" and know that the prophecies are unfolding all around us, but also for those people who are entirely new to the subject of prophecy.
Politics is something that most secular people are interested in, and so if I can use that as a vehicle to lead them to the truth (by showing them how political deception is just another major sign in our day that we're close to the end) then I'm going to use it to do just that. Besides, we know that the coming New World Order is just a euphemism for the prophesied one-world government that will be led by the Antichrist. People who are new to all of this might not know that so that's why I spend some time writing about politics and its connection to last days prophecy.
