I came across this video today and just had to share it with everyone, but especially anyone who's a parent and/or grandparent
This is a video of a little girl singing a song about her daddy - - at his funeral.
Simeon Nix was a Pastor of Music and Worship at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Florida. He suffered an apparent heart attack at around on Saturday, August 16th, 2008 and passed into the presence of God a few hours upon arriving at the hospital where they tried to revive him.
This video was taken from the "Celebration of Life" service held in his honor a few days later. What's remarkable is that she's only 7 years old, and yet she has such composure to sing at his "Celebration of Life" service. Truly, a testament to the gift this man left her and his family about faith and the reality of life after death for Christians, which is a powerful comfort no matter how old (or young) you are.
If this doesn't break your heart and bring a tear to your eye you might not have a heart. God bless this little girl Bre'Ana and her family. Please say a prayer for her, her family, and anyone else touched by this loss.
And remember, the secondary message of this song is for all of us. It's one that tells us that God is our daddy, and He thinks we are beautiful.
What We're Praying/Talking About
Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

Somehow, driving around in my car at lunch has become 'worship' time.
Today I was thinking what a privilege is is for us unholy as we are to be able to worship and praise a Holy God. If you really think about it, we shouldn't be even able to utter His name and yet, He calls us friends.
Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty.
God Bless,
