What We're Praying/Talking About

Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

The Lies We Tell Ourselves

It seems hardly a day goes by that we're not talking about Iran, Israel, and nukes.

Juan Cole makes a point which others have made, but which bears repeating if only to illustrate a point I want to make in a moment:

"Netanyahu's hysteria about Iran is a piece of misdirection intended to sidestep the issue of Israel's own nuclear arsenal. Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty, and allows regular inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency, even if the latter is not completely satisfied with Iran's transparency. Israel just thumbed its nose at the NPT. Israel would only have the moral high ground in demanding that Iran cease enrichment research if it gave up its own some 150 warheads."

Of course, the charge is ALWAYS the same with these people. They'll make jokes about Israel "maintaining the fiction that they don't have nukes" and that "the installation in Dimona is really just an overgrown bagel factory", which is absolutely ignorant and lacking basic common sense.

Officially, the U.S. does want Israel to
sign on to the NPT. Believe it or not, the Bush administration was the first to give lip service to that goal. All other presidencies since Nixon's espoused a "see no evil" attitude: If Israel did not officially confess "We got nukes," the Americans would not press them to sign the treaty.

I want to just ask those who hold to this preposterous view why it even matters? Why does it matter if Israel finally admits what they have in their military arsenal or not anyway? I mean, we all know what she says.

Plus, to CONSTANTLY whine about how it's not fair that Israel has them, yet, she doesn't want her neighbors like Iran to have them is intellectually dishonest. Look at the facts.

Israel has had nuclear weapons in her possession all this time and has never used them. For her, it is purely a deterrent used against enemies that want to annihilate her. On the other hand, Iran has OPENLY STATED what they would do with any nukes if they were able to produce them on their own or get their hands on them. For them, it is a weapon that will help them slaughter and rule through force.

Chants of "Death to Israel!" and "Death to America!" come to mind and should come to mind of any sympathizers. Iran simply wants to wipe us both off the map. So, why is it so hard to stop and think that maybe it's not such a good idea to allow those types of nations and regimes to have the bomb? It's common sense.

However, common sense died a long time ago. More spiritual deception in these last days.

Possibly the nuke thing is a front. According to David Bey at Cutting Edge Ministries, who has several articles quoting Tome Bearden, nukes can be neutralized by scalar weapons. This scalar technology is known as HAARP in the USA, woodpecker in Russia, and I am quite positive that Israel has the same or superior technology. In addition, why wouldn't Israel simply buy the nukes from Russia, Pakistan, or China. They seem to be buying conventional weapons and reactor parts from them.

worse:
the whole goal of this concocted (!) 'middleEastconflict ' is one of deflecting attention, so that ( American ) christianity will wake up too late
http://disc.yourwebapps.com/discussion.cgi?disc=149495;article=124225;
( prison boxcars )

..and yes - not only political but corporate america as well is owned by this group of self-proclaimed 'chosen ones '; including the amusement industry
- serving the same goal as their 'brothers who run the tiny state overthere'.

Maybe Jeff You can spare a topic on the difference between the offspring of Esau ( the present ones in control ), and those of Jacob. Too many Christians don t know the difference, and their attention- and therefore their faith - is supporting the cause of Satan.

Yes I love all His People - and know that "..they will be one stick again "( Ez. 37 ) ,
but at the moment the real war is against Christianity -
but, as Christ warned several times, by " jews, who SAY they are, but..."

( if You think, the comment is not suitable; than please think about how to formulate a topic about these things...? - His blessing ! )

I get it. Israel is faking its own demise to fool American Christians and the world. Hog Wash!

The fact that Israel has not signed the nuclear NPA is because the UN would use it to disarm and destroy Israel. The world hates Israel, America and Britain for their shared faith and heritage. Do not fall for the ruse that "Israel is the problem." That is simply not the case.

Beware, when the father of lies makes peace with Israel and Iran, et al., he will use this to disarm Israel. That is the trigger for the “rest of the story” as Paul Harvey used to say.

As faithful Christians we must see ourselves as Jews at this point in history. We are all in the same boat as we share the same Father, we are guilty of the same sins, save recognition of Christ which I am sure they will cure upon His arrival, and we share the same salvation.

I think it best to remain watchful and faithful until He returns to establish His perfect justice. Until that time, we should aim for the best that we can produce. And for me that includes a free and safe Israel, America and Britain. Sadly, from what we now see on almost a daily basis, this threatened every day.
