Codex Alimentarius: Latin For "We're Screwed!"

The title was used to get your attention. While it will sadly apply to countless millions who aren't currently living life with Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, for us the title is used to remind us of our solemn duty to warn others about the coming reality before it's too late for them.

Despite what we're told in Revelation 1:3, there are still many Christians today who ignore Bible prophecy. The most common reason for doing so is their belief that we're not close to those prophesied end times because "so much still needs to happen first" they say.

I beg to differ. One of the hallmarks of the coming one-world government and political system is that with the Antichrist (i.e. President of the World in a sense) at the helm such an institution will exert full control over every aspect of our daily lives. In other words, freedom will become a distant memory and EVERYTHING we be under the control of this single governing body.

For those who still think we're light years away from seeing the fulfillment of these end times prophecies coming to fruition, I want to focus on something that rarely gets the attention I think it deserves because it has to do with a basic necessity of life.

"Codex Alimentarius" (Latin for "food code" or "food book") is a set of standards for food and nutrition, created by the United Nations (UN) and backed by the World Trade Organization (WTO). It aims to control what type of foods (and how) people can grow, sell, and eat, and what types of dietary supplement can be manufactured and sold.

On the surface, it's absurd to think that there would be a formal political movement and set of laws and regulations designed to control such things. Then again, how far fetched is it when you consider one of the first moves taken by Congress soon after Barack Obama was elected President was to create and pass a related Bill known H.R. 875? More on that in a moment.

Health Freedom USA, the website of the Natural Solutions Foundation, is beholden to no one. From their website: "Our only interest is health freedom. Rima E. Laibow, MD, successful natural medicine physician since the 1970s, has studied 16,000 pages of Codex documentation. Her conclusion is that people who say that Codex is 'consumer protection', 'voluntary', or 'harmless' are, at best, seriously mistaken."

Obviously, that kind of statement coming from an accomplished MD should concern us, right? Fortunately, Health Freedom USA also put together a comprehensive report to help educate us to the cold, hard truth about Codex Alimentarius with their paper titled "Codex Alimentarius (World Food Code) Summarized In 7 Points", which you can read by clicking the link.

Here's the bottom line: "Contrary to the propaganda, Codex Alimentarius has nothing to do with consumer protection. Nothing! Codex is about the economic ambitions of multi-national corporations, in particular, the pharmaceutical industry."

Doctors predict that it these types of laws and regulations will ultimately seek to control health treatment choices as well as food and supplements. Codex was initially created in order to control every aspect of food production, packaging, preparation, preservation, and presentation "from farm to fork." The plan behind Codex Alimentarius is to regulate, and thus control, EVERY SINGLE THING you put in your mouth.

Simply put, "if Codex Alimentarius is implemented in the United States of America, therapeutic dosages of vitamins and minerals (and all other nutrients soon to follow) will become unavailable because they will literally become illegal."

Again, for those who doubt any of this, all you need to do is watch your daily news. The new administration has proposed H.R. 875, which is legislation that targets organic farmers, benefits manufacturers of genetically engineered/genetically modified (GM) seeds like the ones the corporate giant Monsanto makes, and threatens to uproot backyard vegetable gardens and farmer's markets across the country. Simply put, it creates a sort of "food police" run by the government.

Called the "Food Safety Modernization Act," it was promptly referred to House committees, but there's no indication as to when it may be brought to the floor for consideration. Still, this is an alarming development especially now after H.R. 1388 was just passed (additional commentary on that Bill HERE). Plus, Michelle Obama oversaw the creation of the first first functioning garden on the White House grounds, which to me seems rather odd.

Could it be possible that Mrs. Obama knows which way the wind blows and is trying to destroy any chance of H.R. 875 going any further? Or, is it something more sinister and she wants to make sure that her and her family are "taken care of" while the rest of the world is force-fed Monsanto GM products? I don’t want to be seen as suffering from irrational exuberance here, but what other explanations are there? It has to be one or the other, right? Would H.R. 875 apply to the White House garden? Because the food is grown and consumed on location, I don’t think that H.R. 875 would apply. If it was decided that the school kids were to learn about selling some of the food at a farmers market, then H.R. 875 would apply. I don’t know what’s going on, but this will be VERY interesting to watch.




On a side note, earlier I mentioned the company known as Monsanto. Do a quick Google search for them and you'll see that they've appeared on everyone's radar. Why? Because they're playing with God's creation in ways better left to Science Fiction novels. Specifically, they're in the business of Genetically-Modified (GM) food products. This "Franken-Food" as it's been called is a frightening reality that we'll be facing on a widespread level very soon, and the implications of such an irresponsible science is truly prophetic in and of itself.

For instance, as the article "The Significance Of The Successfully Developed GM Food Vaccine" points out: "A string of news articles on vaccines contained in GM food have hit the media over the last few days. The articles talked about research being carried out to see if it would work. But that is exactly what it is, re-search. Current scientists, on a lower level, re-doing the work that has been proven to work at an equivalent or higher level years ago. The New Scientist article below publicly reported in 2005 that Arizona State University’s re-search from 2003 successfully created 'Genetically engineered potatoes containing a hepatitis B vaccine' which caused human volunteers to produce a 'large number of extra antibodies'. The research shows that GM food can be used to pass genetic material to humans and cause changes in the human body."

Anyone should be able to clearly see that these laws, this movement, this science, and Codex Alimentarius in particular directly relates to what many others present about the New World Order's (a.k.a. the prophesied one-world government's ) ultimate plan. Seeds and home gardens are as important as your right of self-defense, because without them you eat whatever a global corporation like Monsanto tells you to eat. Your diet determines your health, mental acuity, longevity, level of energy and much more.

Just because you may not grow a garden currently doesn't mean you shouldn't, or that you wouldn't be better off growing one in the future. Just like your neighbor owning a gun can protect you, your neighbor owning seeds can protect you.

After all, a human being's most fundamental needs in this world are food, clothing, shelter, and self-defense. As long as you have the ability to provide for these yourself, you are free. However, when you must depend upon government (or the government's designated global corporation) for these -- -- no, when it is even illegal for you to provide these for yourself -- you are a slave. Plain and simple. Mission accomplished in their eyes. Thus, this is another sign that we're quickly approaching the prophesied oppressive one-world government system.

Interestingly enough, the 32nd Session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission will meet from June 30th to July 4th in FAO headquarters in Rome. What is that "interesting" you ask? Because President Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Rome on July 10th to meet with Pope Benedict as the G8 leaders wrap up their July 8-10 summit to be held in L'Aquila. L'Aquila, by the way, was the epicenter of that devastating earthquake back in early April (wait until you get a load of the possible prophetic significance of this obscure town in this Friday's next installment of the "Freaky Friday" series!). Just a few observations.

Now, why should that concern us? Well, I'm not sure if you watched the video above yet or not, but Dr. Laibow gave that lecture back in 2005 and said something EXTREMELY TIMELY around the 3:30 mark of that 8-minute clip.

I'm paraphrasing, but she noted how the Codex Alimentarius Commission (which, again, is NOT a Public Health Commission or even a Consumer Protection Commission as advertised, but instead IS a Trade Commission!) -- in 1962 or 47 years ago -- "we're going to work toward total, global implementation of Codex Alimentarius on December 31, 2009."

In another video of that same speech, Dr. Laibow also gives us the following warning: "Under Codex, every dairy cow on the planet must be treated with Monsanto's recombinant bovine growth hormone. Furthermore, under Codex, every animal used for food on the planet must be treated with sub-clinical antibiotics, and must be treated with exogenous growth hormone. If you do the numbers, in the WHO/FAO projections, the epidemiological projections, they estimate -- not I -- that just the vitamin and mineral guideline alone...when it goes into global implementation...on December 31, 2009...will result in a minimum of 3 billion -- that's 'B', 'bad, 'big' -- billion deaths! 1 billion through simple starvation! Those folks who die are not particularly, economically 'successful' from the point of view of the corporations, but the next 2 billion, they will die from the preventable diseases of under nutrition! Who will live? Probably those people who are wealthy enough and powerful enough to have their own pushers of clean food and nutrients."

So, the upcoming session will be the FINAL ONE held before their targeted date only a few months from now for full implementation of this oppressive system.
