Major Stefan Frederick Cook 1 - Obama 0

Ok, before any Dems and O supporters claim I'm "just attacking their side/guy" let me offer a disclaimer. It's ridiculous that I have to do this sort of thing (especially on my own blog), but I've learned on several occasions recently that there are many people out there who won't read beyond the first few sentences unless I give a disclaimer of this kind.

So, that being said, please allow me to go on the record by writing that the developing story involving former Vice President Dick Cheney and the CIA is equally disgusting and disturbing. See, I'm not a true blue Republican. I'm a guy who discerns the truth, believes in absolutes like "black and white" and "wrong and right" and has an opinion and sticks to it.

Now, on to my main focus. It's the story that won't go away. However, rather than placing our focus on the bigger picture, I want us to place our focus on the plight of one lone voice in the wilderness because I think his story says a lot about the larger issue. The facts involving one man and the company he works -- excuse me, worked -- for speak for themselves. There's simply no denying these charges against President Obama any longer once something like this happens as far as I'm concerned.

God Bless men and women like Major Stefan Frederick Cook who still have enough courage to stand up for what's right despite the consequences. Oh, wait, that's right you probably don't know who that is since there's been a blackout on this story by the corporate mainstream media. I guess I must be making this up then, right?

Let me just get right down to the facts. Did you hear about how the Pentagon ordered a soldier fired for challenging the President? Apparently, nowadays in the U.S.S.A. the Department of Defense can compel a private employer to fire a U.S. Army Reserve Major from his civilian job after he had his military deployment orders revoked for arguing he should not be required to serve under a President who has not proven his eligibility for office.

In case you missed how this entire saga began, Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook had the "audacity" to question President Obama's constitutional eligibility to serve as POTUS. Like millions of others, he is not going to rest until the truth comes out, or until the issue is resolved satisfactorily.

"As an officer in the armed forces of the United States, it is [my] duty to gain clarification on any order we may believe illegal. With that said, if President Obama is found not to be a 'natural-born citizen,' he is not eligible to be commander-in-chief," he told reporters only hours after his case was originally filed. Yes, Cook actually filed a legal case in the state of Georgia.

"[Then] any order coming out of the presidency or his chain of command is illegal. Should I deploy, I would essentially be following an illegal [order]. If I happened to be captured by the enemy in a foreign land, I would not be privy to the Geneva Convention protections," he said.

Hmmm, correct me if I'm wrong and I'm missing something here, but he hardly sounds like the type of guy the politicians typically like to classify as a "deserter" let alone someone who doesn't want to serve their country and uphold the oath he swore to. Quite the contrary!

He said the vast array of information about Obama that is not available to the public confirms to him "something is amiss."

"That and the fact the individual who is occupying the White House has not been entirely truthful with anybody," he said. "Every time anyone has made an inquiry, it has been either cast aside, it has been maligned, it has been laughed at or just dismissed summarily without further investigation. You know what. It would be so simple to solve. Just produce the long-form document, certificate of live birth," he said.

Exactly. This administration could save millions of dollars they're paying to retain a law firm to fight this, invest $20 or less to produce the proper document, make all of us lose our credibility and integrity immediately upon producing such a document, and finally put this issue to rest once and for all. It's so simple really. Why don't they do just that then? Can someone please answer that for me?

In what amounts to an indirect admission that "Birthers" have always been on to something and had a case, this story just makes me sick. That's because after Cook filed his case with the court system he begin to get more media attention than The-Powers-That-Be wanted. Just yesterday morning, he had his military deployment orders revoked for arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office!

Let the gravity of that decision sink in for a moment. Do you realize what that means? It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate -- and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order! They just said, "Order revoked." No explanation. No reasons -- just revoked! It was an indirect admission that Cook is right, and that Obama is a fraud -- excuse me -- the legal term I believe is "usurper".



This was welcomed news, obviously, but more so because Cook's hearing was scheduled for tomorrow morning. In essence, they "won" before they even showed up! While the hearing is still scheduled, the mood will be tempered because just a few hours after that decision by the military the Pentagon put the squeeze on a private company (Socialists everywhere are loving this!) and coerced them to fire Cook from his civilian job!

Dr. Orly Taitz is Cook's lawyer. She wrote the following on her blog:

"A federal agency (such as the Department of Defense, acting through the Defense Security Services Agency) clearly violates the Whistleblower Protection Act if it takes or fails to take (or threatens to take or fail to take) a personnel action with respect to any employee or applicant because of any disclosure of information by the employee or applicant that he or she reasonably believes evidences a violation of a law, rule or regulation; gross mismanagement; gross waste of funds; an abuse of authority; or a substantial and specific danger to public health or safety."

Where's the outcry? Where's the ACLU? Where are the Democrat leaders (who my family members and friends still to this day insist are all for the "common man" or the "little guy like you and me" the "poor in means and spirit") to defend this honorable man? For that matter, where are the Republicans or Independents even? And when the mainstream media does decide to chime in on the subject they mock and ridicule. Is that really the best this country has to offer in the field of Journalism? This is the "watchdog press" looking out for the public's best interest? Ironically, their inability to counter this story with facts of their own (resorting only to sophmoric name-calling instead) is indicative of how close to the truth Cook and the rest of us really are.

Look, I'm not naive when it comes to the way the world operates let alone the nature in which "politics as usual" is carried out in this nation. Besides, I know what time it is as far as where we are along God's prophetic timeline so the deception is only going to continue to get worse.

Still, I'm sick and tired of family members and friends who are so completely blind to the truth. I just wish that people would realize that, ultimately, at the end of the day it doesn't matter who's in control (the Democrats or the Republicans) because both want the same things. They just disagree on the means to accomplish such things.

More importantly, no government or politician is going to save you, or make your life better. If you say you believe in God and His Son Jesus Christ, then put your full faith and trust in Him, not an institution, not man, not a political system, and you'll never be disappointed or let down.

It's just so frustrating how I could show people these facts and allow them to read it on their own (so that they can reach the only logical conclusion there is on their own) without me making their mind up for them, and they'll still ignore it all completely, act like it's no big deal, deny it altogether, or question my integrity as well as the integrity of the source where I pulled the story from.

What!?! How does that work? I get that some of them might not be ready for the cold, hard truth because of what it implies and means for them and their families, but they need to know that the old saying "the truth will set you free" is a cliche because it's the honest truth! In fact, it even has its origin and roots in the Holy Bible! Think about that for a moment.

My desire to grab people and shake them with both arms until they wake up and see the reality of the world they're living in comes from a genuine place of concern and love. I mean, after all, if they're deceived over this kind of stuff, then they'll be easy prey for the Antichrist when he arrives with all his lying signs and wonders! By then it will be too late and no turning back I'm afraid.

At the end of the day, it's not about whether your a Liberal Democrat or I'm a Conservative Republican. It's not about Right, Left, and those in the Middle. It's about truth. It's about right and wrong. It's about the U.S. Constitution that this great nation was built on. It's about all of us being children of God -- Americans -- not representatives of a political party.

For my Democrat readers, think of how you felt when the Bush administration trampled on the Constitution during their watch. The Patriot Act comes to mind, right? Like me, you were probably sickened. So why can't we agree that this issue needs to be addressed once and for all so that the same thing isn't happening again? I pray that the light of truth illuminates the darkness of deceit even in this late and urgent hour of humanity. Even though I know how the story will ultimately unfold that doesn't mean I forfeit my responsibilities as a Christian, as an American, and as a lover of freedom and truth. Don't you feel the same?

Please, take the time to re-read this story. Put your political biases aside for a moment and just read the facts of this case. Ask yourself what the U.S. military was actually indirectly admitting by their decision to revoke this soldier's orders. Ask yourself why a federal agency would go to such lengths if there was nothing to this story and this man's claims.

Now, ask yourself if you're willing to stop lying to yourself about the world around you and the institutions you cherish including the people who run them that you've placed too much faith and trust in.
