Let's take a quick look at what the Bible has to say about the Mark of the Beast system...

Revelation 13:16-17 -- "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

Revelation 14:9,11 -- "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

Revelation 15:2 -- "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."

Revelation 16:2 -- "And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image."

Revelation 19:20 -- "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."

Revelation 20:4 -- "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
Excellent! Now that we have a firm foundation based in truth let's take a look at current events, which will clearly demonstrate how close we are to this coming reality.

Late last year, we attempted to come up with some of the ways in which The-Powers-That-Be might successfully destroy the sovereignty of this nation, remake it according to their own desires, and put it on a path for complete integration with the New World Order (a.k.a. prophesied one-world political system).

Today, I read about all the states that are currently facing tough budget choices. By "tough budget choices" I mean to say that they're frantically working to stave off government shutdowns and devastating service cuts.

Legislators in more than a half a dozen states -- California, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio,Connecticut, Mississippi, Illinois, and Pennsylvania are really up against it. Funny that Pennsylvania is one of the states on that list because I just read how the Governor is being asked to declare Martial Law there in that state, but for reasons associated with crime not the economy!

Harrisburg NAACP Urges Ed Rendell To Impose Martial Law!?!

The Harrisburg Chapter of the NAACP is calling on Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell to suspend some civil liberties and impose martial law in the city to halt the wave of recent lawlessness.

Chapter President Stanley Lawson also called on Rendell to bring in the state National Guard for at least 30 days and to impose a curfew. In June, there have been at least 12 shootings, many of them in the daytime, including a man killed Wednesday at a busy city intersection during the lunch hour.

"The Guard is for floods and natural disasters. I don’t know any more of a natural disaster than of our young people being killed," he said at a general membership meeting of about 25 people at Capitol Presbyterian Church, 14th and Cumberland streets. "It’s time for some real action,” he said. "Right now the important thing is to stop this madness. We’re beyond what the Harrisburg police department can do. We need help," Lawson said.

Admittedly, this is PURE SPECULATION, but I'm beginning to wonder if that's how Martial Law would be rolled out little by little across this country in the absence of any major domestic event. I mean, it stands to reason that if the economy tanks and the government shuts down in Pennsylvania, then crime would most likely increase also. It's Criminology 101, isn't it?

Why do I get the feeling that the stage is carefully being set for this type of thing in just a handful of places at first before it's implemented on a national scale? One only needs to look at the news and connect the dots for we also find that places like Chicago, IL (one of the states in economic trouble) has seen the murder rate rise with the temperature this summer.

Friends, we're not too far off from seeing our worst nightmare manifest itself in this country. Sure, it might begin on a local and regional level, but as more and more places join the growing list of "states that just can't function and operate because of the worsening economic crisis" how long would it really take before such a decision was made to blanket the entire United States under Martial Law?

If you don't think that any of this can happen, then think again. In fact, we studied the subject extensively in the past and revealed some eye-opening truths:

Obviously, the worse the economy gets, the closer we get to the fulfillment of some major end times prophecies like the Antichrist establishing the Mark of the Beast system of economic control. Gosh, just last week we even saw Japan call for a "cashless society" and that should be all the proof we need that if our world leaders are openly talking about such things, then it means they are preparing us to accept that coming reality.

How strange is it to know the reasons why everything is happening the way that it is, to see prophecy being fulfilled all around you, to know what else is coming upon this world, and yet to know that we're more or less innocent bystanders (in the sense that our faith and trust in Jesus Christ is what will save us from the full horrors of such a time in this world)?

For me, it's a mix of joy and sadness. I'm joyful because I'm so glad that the Lord chose me to be His property, but I'm sad because I know there are still millions out that (family and friends included) who still don't believe me when I try to warn them about these types of things.

Lord, I pray that you open their hearts and minds to the truth of Your message of salvation and the truth of Your plan for humanity before it's too late. I am Your humble servant in this world and will gladly go forth and tell them anything You want me to if it will help in any small way. I know that You don't need me to accomplish Your will down here, but I just want You to know that You have me if You do for any reason. Keep me humble, keep my mind clear, and please grace me with the right words to impact their hearts and minds. I give You myself and my life for as long as You've given me this life and this role here on Earth. Amen.

At the end of the day, what we have here is a growing global economic crisis that could explode and get worse overnight and the conditions are ripe for a world government body to introduce the Mark of the Beast technology to help eliminate a cash society based on multiple currencies. They'll make the case that it will successfully prevent further economic woes.

I can almost hear the Antichrist now as he tries to sell the skeptical public, "Look, it's really a simple, painless procedure that will give you peace of mind. Besides, do you really want your family to go hungry and starve or to be living on the streets just because you had some hang-ups about taking the mark that would allow you and them to buy and sell? Do you really want to put yourself in that position to have to explain to your family why you thought it was better for them to suffer?"

It cannot be overstated: the mere fact that we are at a place in time where the technology finally exists to make these prophecies a reality -- AT THE SAME TIME that the world is experiencing a panic over the economy -- should cause everyone to take notice and recognize that we are the first generation in all of human history to exist at a time when all of this could actually happen EXACTLY the way that the Scriptures says it will.

Luke 21:28 -- "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near."
