Obama Handshake Snubs In Russia?

Was Obama "snubbed" or simply making "introductory gestures" that looked like he was being snubbed?

I counted 4 separate snubs. Count them -- 1, 2, 3, 4. That kind of takes away any explanation that could be given like when the press said President Obama was merely "watching his" step as he checked out the young, hot 16-year-old during the G8 summit. Remember that picture?

How many mentions by the press about these handshake snubs? A big fat Z-E-R-O. Not surprising, but still noteworthy. And don't worry because relations with Russia have never been better they tell us.

Yeah right! That post I made a few minutes ago is looking more and more plausible in light of this video evidence, isn't it?

Obama is not being snubbed here.

He is introducing the US delegation to Medvedev.

They were not snubs...he was introducing/presenting people to the other person as is a normal custom when people meet for the first time...I still don't like Obama...but alas he was not snubbed...watch it again slower...the first few shakes look like snubs due to the angle...it's just like that video that came out that said he was checking out some young girls rear with some other diplomat...he wasn't it was just the wrong angle...

That is truly insulting. Yet, whom are they insulting?: the U.S. or just the president? Is this a character judgment? Are they refusing to shake the hand of a puppet? Do they now consider the U.S. to be nothing worth even offering courtesy?

Fair enough. Perhaps -- maybe -- that's what it was. I trust Wes over at Kingdom Studies to do his homework like I do before writing and publishing things so I'm leaning that way. At the same time, I don't have a problem admitting it if (and when) I'm wrong. Hey, sometimes bloggers have "off" days too. I wouldn't be surprised though if it was a "snub" rather than a "introductory gesture" is all I'm saying here. Thanks guys.

Whether he was introducing Medvedev to anyone or not is irrelevant because BO was obviously expecting his extended hand to be grasped. Just look at the expression on BO's face. That says it all!

Looked like a snub to me. :)

Two thoughts:

1) This is exactly the kind of thing which can cumulatively tend to 'set-off' people with NPD or MNPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder or Malignant " ")... which is precisely the narrative we're expecting with a mid-trib 'snap' by the anti-Christ as he's inhabited by satan.

2) This scene makes more sense (on many levels) in light of BHO's other comments in Moscow. I.e., he may have backed the wrong faction. Not sure which came first...

I watched it a few times. At first it looks like a snub. at the last guy you can see he is introducing them. However, if you look at his face, he doesn't seem to be to pleased with it.

Don't let the Ministry of Truth fool you. Obama is offering is hand and is being ignored by the delegation. I am still trying to figure out if some diplomatic protocol prevents the delegation from shaking Obama's hand.

Hi guys,
Let's do simple analyses of that short video.
Look at the uniform of the soldier in the room. It’s – Russian, not American (fact #1).
So, they are in Kremlin, Moscow, Russia and not in the American Embassy in Moscow.
How many people enter that room (Palace)? Three (fact #2).
Do you think our President Obama knows (and fluently) Russian language? Don’t thing so…
Who is walking as a pair in that situation? Russian President Medvedev (fact #3) – no matter what angle the camera was!
So, isn’t that pretty obviously should lead us to the only conclusion that it is the Russian President, who needs the Translator (and we could see him very handy) to PERFECTLY and FLUENTLY understand, who is introducing to him by the American President & what exactly he is saying (if any comments were made)?
How about that?

Ah yes, yet another right-wing evangelical wacko who doesn't want to be burdened by the facts. Not a snub, moron...he was introducing people, and using the back of his hand to gesture. Go back to reading your cobbled-together collection of myths and parables (the bible) and waiting for the rapture (which, of course, will never come).

That was absolutely a snub. Is everyone crazy? Everyone is saying he's introducing people but his lips aren't even moving at all. Also the man behind him was shaking hands with everyone else. And lets be honest, why would he be introducing people in Russia. That doesn't make any sense. Whenever people do things blantantly wrong to Obama everyone refuses to acknowledge it and it's sad. Even I'm embarrassed about how this country has treated it's president.

introducing people my ass...he is in a foreign country and its clear when they walk into the room that the russian pres. is directing him to where he needs to go. how could obama be introducing people if he doesnt even know where to walk when he gets into the room. Guess what people America isnt as wonderful as you think it is and this is a reflection of that.
