Say Goodbye To Synchro-Pop?

Posted by JRed

While I firmly believe in the importance of taking Ephesians 5:11 and Matthew 10:16 to heart and trying to apply it on a daily basis here, I also believe there's such a thing as "going too far" sometimes.

At all times, we must make sure that our spiritual anchor is the Holy Bible and God's Word as contained in that wonderful Book. Otherwise, we end up doing things ass-backwards (excuse me) by attempting to make the prophecies contained within the Scriptures fit within these "observed connections" rather than the other way around.

Recently, a reader left a comment that really challenged me. No, it convicted me in a sense to the point where I couldn't simply ignore it outright, but had to pray about it, think about it, and be completely honest with myself.

In fact, if I'm being completely honest, I've thought about it a lot for the past few days. I don't know if this is genuinely from the Holy Spirit warning me to stop this kind of research into "Synchro-Pop" once and for all (because it's ultimately leading us astray), or if it's Satan attacking me and trying to get me to think that because we're getting too close and exposing his evil schemes more than he'd like us to.

The comment I'm referring to was:

You're excitement is palpable regarding the deciphering of secular media. However, given the definition and verse below, where does one draw the line as a Christian when seeking to understand future events by interpreting 'occult' messages or agendas? No offense, but might you be involved in interpreting 'omens'? Thanks, Omen = an occurrence of phenomenon believed to portend a future event (Webster Dictionary) Deut. 18:10 10 'Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in [a] the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,'

Great point, right? Tough to argue with Scripture. To which I replied:

I get your concern. Believe me I do. That verse has always been on my mind since I began writing about such things. In the end, it's about exposing the darkness of deceit with the light of truth and applying the clear command we find in Matthew 10:16. Plus, I've reconciled this with the fact that all of these 'observations/studies' point to our Lord and Creator if not Jesus Christ, and, more importantly, I use them to encourage others (prophecy skeptics and/or the unsaved) to get right with God and make a decision for Christ by attempting to demonstrate that if this really is God using anything and everything within His creation to get people's attention (one last time) before it's too late, then maybe this is an ok practice. Like I said, that's always been on my mind as well as the verse where Jesus Himself tells the believer to depart from Him even though they claimed to have prophesied in His name. Sobering thoughts, but I trust that if God doesn't want me to write about such things anymore (especially if these are 'wrong' or if I'm 'doing it wrong'), then He'll let me know somehow or stop me from continuing down the wrong path or from leading people astray. Great question/point though. Would love to see what others have to say. Thanks for stopping by and for commenting.

I truly believe every word I wrote in that response. This entire study of Synchro-Pop hinges on the very real phenomenon known as Synchronicity, or what Carl Jung called "the Hand of God". I look at this phenomenon and see it as God’s way of attempting to use anything and everything within His wonderful creation that He can to try to get people’s attention one last time before it’s too late. It certainly would fit what we know about Him as being a loving God who doesn’t want to see anyone perish just as we’re told:

2 Peter 3:9 -- "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Yes, I know I’m speculating here and making that conclusion on my own, but because we know that He loves us so much that He doesn't want to see anyone perish, then is it really so far-fetched to assume that God would use anything and everything within His marvelous creation to try and get the same message across? I mean, it's almost like He's trying to whack us over the head with these messages -- these truths -- so that even those of us who love Him dearly, but maybe perhaps aren't into studying prophecy as much as we should, can find the same "signs that the end times are upon us" just by noticing things like the Synchro-Pop examples I've referenced here in the past week.

The analogy I like to use is one that involves a past Valentine’s Day. My wife went to bed the night before and I spent a few hours decorating the entire house from top to bottom with balloons, flowers, and little cut-out pictures with little notes on them. I even made a path of little heart-shaped footprints that led her from the bedroom door upstairs all the way downstairs and through the whole house until they reached the gift I had waiting for her. My point is that no matter where she turned, no matter where she looked, there was evidence all around her pointing to the same conclusion -- that she was very special and that today was a very special day.

That’s what I think our Heavenly Father might be doing here with all this Synchronicity and Synchro-Pop stuff because in the end it all points to the same conclusion when you get right down to it -- that we're all standing on the cusp of the beginning of the Tribulation, the rise of the Antichrist, and the One World Government because it's much closer than we even realize.

At least, that’s what I've believed about this phenomenon since I began exploring it back in December 2008. I have to believe it! Again, our Heavenly Father used a tragedy like 9/11, a false prophet like Nostradamus, and the occult to get my attention so I often wonder if this is sort of the same thing. Still, the challenge is to always make sure that God’s Word as found in the Holy Bible remains our spiritual anchor at all times, otherwise, we’ll go so far down the rabbit hole that we’ll become useless here on Earth because we’ve lost our spiritual bearings.

Those last few paragraphs are what I told myself in response to the comments left by concerned readers. For awhile, they even quieted my spirit and I felt at peace with the conclusions I had reached. Yet, once more, the subject came up again from a different person a few days later, and this time I was wondering if this was God's response to what I wrote: "I trust that if God doesn't want me to write about such things anymore (especially if these are 'wrong' or if I'm 'doing it wrong'), then He'll let me know somehow or stop me from continuing down the wrong path or from leading people astray."

Consequently, I was forced to revisit this serious subject all over again. Why is it such a "serious subject" you ask? Because I can't shake the following verses, which I suspect might have something to do with all this:

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 -- "Now if you enter into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to act according to the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you one who cleanses his son or his daughter by fire, one who practices divination, one who acts as a diviner, one who practices ornithomancy, a sorcerer, one who casts spells, a ventriloquist and one who observes signs and one who inquires of the dead. For anyone who does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God, for it is because of these abominations that the Lord your God will destroy them utterly from before you. You shall be perfect before the Lord your God. For these nations that you are about ti dispossess, these will hear omens and divinations, but as for you, the Lord your God has not granted you to do so." (emphasis mine)

Matthew 7:21-23 -- "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (emphasis mine)

Ironically, I even wrote about my concerns about studying this way back in early January, but eventually got drawn back into the study of this seducing spirit (is that what we're really dealing with here?). Worse, one of the very first entries I wrote about Synchronicity/Synchro-Pop was a pretty clear warning (looking back and re-reading it) that this probably wasn't the best thing to be investing my time with. Maybe I should've taken my own advice back then.

Well, leave it to our incredible God (or, again, is it Satan?) to use yet another individual (3 total now!) to force me to consider some things on the entire matter. I received a message from a reader via Facebook that simply said:

Hi Jeff!! I ran across this, at a rather unreliable site, however, I think it should serve as a bit of a wake up call to all of us who have been 'studying' these crop circles. Most of it is the usual mumbo jumbo from the dark spiritual side. However, what they view the purpose of those circles for, is something we have never heard before. Maybe adding to the spreading of those images and subsequent analysis, isn't such a 'great idea' regardless of our intentions. Please give it some prayerful thought, we are!

Here's the commentary he referenced and asked me to read.

The idea that I could've been disobeying God's clear commands all this time while also encouraging others here to research and study other possibly forbidden practices like the study of Synchronicity pains me to no end. I want to please my God! I want to bring glory and honor to Him at all times -- not shame! Is this what I've allowed to happen!?!

It's the fine line between exoteric and esoteric knowledge that if crossed can open Pandora's Box. Men and women have always wanted to know the future, to be foretold of the vagaries of nature. For that very reason, we believe in superstitions and in supernatural powers. The skill or act of telling what will happen in the future or discovering something that is unknown or secret by seemingly magical methods gives a person -- who is believed to have the ability -- a special status.
The oldest profession in any culture or society could have been that of a soothsayer. That's why I'm beginning to think my initial assessment of studying this phenomenon was spot on. If a majority of people can't identify and make these same "connections" and "observations" for themselves, then isn't that like elevating myself to some sort of "preferred status" and crossing over into the esoteric realm? If it is, then I need to cease and desist immediately!

Wow! On one hand, I wonder if this truly is cause for concern or if it's just Satan trying to cause doubt. On the other hand, I see this as our Heavenly Father being right on cue to perhaps gently nudge me in the right direction and get me back on track so to speak. Not that it's entirely wrong to warn people about the spiritual and Satanic agenda at work in Hollywood and pop culture in order to prevent it from seducing us and having its intended influence, but maybe my journeys down the rabbit hole in regards to all the Synchro-Pop nonsense in our daily existence is going too far.

Plus, I'm beginning to wonder if these cases of Synchro-Pop have at their core a dangerous premise that we can “hear God’s voice", not through His Word, but through extra-Biblical revelation. Churches are currently filled with people who think they are hearing a "word from the Lord", often contradicting one another and causing endless wrangling and divisions within the Body of Christ. That has been me to an extent these past few weeks, and what I fear I may have done inadvertently.
God's Word is to be our authoritative source of wisdom because it is "God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17). If the Bible is sufficient to thoroughly equip us for every good work, how could we think we need to seek a mystical experience in addition to it?

At the same time, the only thing that has kept me from writing Synchronicity/Synchro-Pop off completely is the fact that I know that the things that are most important for Satan to distort are the things that are true; the things that have the most impact and power. The Gospel is obviously number one, and then also the idea of Jesus Christ coming back again. Everything is fair game to him including these sorts of things.

As Christians, I recognize that we MUST look at what the enemy is doing because the end times has a component to it that focuses on Christianity very precisely, and that's this idea that there's going to be this great lie, a great delusion coming -- the Great Deception -- and if you're not well versed in what's going on and especially in knowing the Word itself (knowing it inside and out and understanding that if someone throws something at you that no matter what it is it will NEVER negate the facts of the Bible) you're going to find yourself in serious trouble.

That's why if you leave out things like Astronomy (that's in the Bible), Numerics/Numerology (that's in the Bible), the Nephilim giants (that's in the Bible), and Symbolism (that's in the Bible too!) you're disarming yourself and leaving yourself vulnerable to becoming on the "the elect" who's deceived during the coming Great Deception because ALL OF THESE THINGS have been stolen and usurped by Satan to use against us.

We have to know that this stuff is there or else the lie will work. That's why I'm so concerned about all of this lately. I get that, but I don't want to cross any line. I don't want to disobey God either. Lord have mercy and forgive me if I have sinned in this regard.

I think from now on I'll try to reign it in some. At least, that's the lesson I think I'm supposed to learn from this -- analyze, assess, watch, and warn. However, don't get so wrapped up in EVERY LITTLE DETAIL because that's going too far.

So, the bottom line is that while all the examples of Synchro-Pop can be seducing it's not the kind of seduction that leads to anything good other than the edification of this "Global Consciousness" idea that "we are all one with the universe" or that "we are god, and god is within" even.

In that sense it also borders on Pantheism, which literally means "God is All" and "All is God" and it is the view that everything is of an all-encompassing abstract God; or that the Universe, or nature, and God are equivalent.

An oft-cited feature of Pantheism is that each individual human, being part of the Universe or nature, is part of God. One issue discussed by Pantheists is how free will may exist in this framework. In answer, the following analogy is sometimes given (particularly by Classical Pantheists): "You are to God as an individual blood cell in your vein is to you."

The analogy further maintains that while a cell may be aware of its own environs, and even has some choices (free will) between right and wrong (killing a bacterium, becoming malignant, or perhaps just doing nothing, among countless others), it likely has little conception of the greater being of which it is a part.

That doesn't sound like the Christianity I know let alone my relationship to the Most High. Besides, if we took a Pantheistic view of God and our world then it would completely contradict everything we know and believe since as Augustine wrote, "Concerning the rational animal himself, - that is, man, - what more unhappy belief can be entertained than that a part of God is whipped when a boy is whipped? And who, unless he is quite mad, could bear the thought that parts of God can become lascivious, iniquitous, impious, and altogether damnable? In brief, why is God angry at those who do not worship Him, since these offenders are parts of Himself?"

So, while I began this personal study excited over a new discovery I have now come to a place where I no longer believe that the study of Synchronicity/Synchro-Pop is a good thing. I'm still fascinated by it all, but it is too close to Pantheism and therefore incompatible with my sacred belief system I know in my heart and mind to be true. This time I'll know better to take my own advice and conclusions here to heart.

At the end of the day, it's pure New Age, Occult, Luciferian, Satanic garbage and not something I want to be promoting any longer this late in the game. Besides, I wonder if I'm inadvertently opening a doorway to the demonic spiritual realm that can influence me and my family by dabbling with such things.

Can you tell I'm really at odds over this? Why am I having such an issue with this today and in recent days? I wonder what a guy like Russ Dizdar would say about all of this?

Don't worry, I'll still analyze and assess the hidden agendas present in movies and television that speak to this "mass conditioning" concept courtesy of those pushing for a New World Order (a.k.a. the prophesied One World Government system), but I think that's probably where I might stop until God moves me again to write about such things with a laser-like focus and attention to detail as many of the Synchro-Pop pieces here this past week have demonstrated.

Perhaps in the final analysis, and as an appropriate bookend to each and every single piece I've written about this phenomenon, I should make a conscious decision to say goodbye to Synchro-Pop on the same day the world said goodbye to the King of Pop.

I agree, but it's good that you blogged on the topic for as long as you did because now there's an archive of info that will get indexed into the search engines and who knows, unbelievers who are into this stuff, might become believers because of some of the cross-over implications you identified.

Now I'm looking forward to more of the traditional bible prophecy posts : )

Remember the movie, 'A Beautiful Mind' about the insidiousness nature of mental illness taking over; and the way it was filmed one didn't even realize until later the difference between reality and a false reality? And the obsessive nature in connecting random events in a mentally ill specific way? Where is the line between synchro-pop and schizophrenia? Not a criticism, just my thoughts about a week ago after reading some of your blogs.

I haven't read the column(s)immediately previous to this so not sure if I need to before responding. But, caution is not one of my strong suits, so here goes...

As you adeptly pointed out, keeping an eye on what the enemy is doing helps us to prepare accordingly. That is, if you pay attention to the signs of the times. There are others who have the expertise and the knowledge to figure out the crop circles and such much better than I can. The biggest issue with pointing to these websites that do these things, is that those with low discernment can easily be deceived by the things they read.

Satan's favorite thing is to tell a bit of truth...just enough for a buy in...then surround it with lies. If you are not careful, you can find see how easily others can be deceived. Maitreya's site is one such site.

Part of the challenge of writing a blog like this is that you have a varied audience. Some who are strong in the faith and others who have new or very weak faith. The "newbies" tend to be those who are easily frightened. Frankly, without faith, what is going on would be insanely scary!! So, I guess the real question is...who is your audience?? Those who are seeking to find answers because they have no or weak faith or those who are looking for meat. I think the answer can only come from God and seeking His will. I do believe the answer directly affects how you will write your future articles. You can't send those who have no discernment to sites that you fundamentally disagree with in teaching. On the other hand, those who have discernment and protect themselves accordingly can go into those sites knowing that we don't agree with their teachings and tease out the nugget of truth that provides insight.

As far as attacks from the enemy go, I honestly believe if you are doing things to expose their plans, such as you are doing, you will be more prone to attacks. Look how much your readership and exposure has grown since you first started this blog!! I see God using you and what you're doing in a powerful way.

Sometimes things you write are frankly, a little over my head or I miss the connection. Then, little by little, I'll see it revealed in other places like the mainstream media or other sites and I'll remember what you've written. If I hadn't read about it here first, I wouldn't be able to pick up the other pieces playing out elsewhere.

I don't think anyone of us can tell you which way to jump. As for divining the future...we KNOW the future. It's been written in His Word for us to read. What you're doing is pointing to what is going on in the world and pointing it back to the Word.

funny that you put this topic up as I logged onto your site..my mom and I just watched the film Knowing.. and I was gonna tell you to go see it. Everything you had been talking about was in that movie, Ezekiel's wheels, jellyfish spaceships, CME ,and even aliens coming to save our earth just in time! Though I do understand how someone might get drawn into synchronicity, I do think that just on certain occasions or like in this instance, this film..writing about such things from a Christian perspective might bring someone in who hadnt looked at it that way before.
I truly love your site and I see your point of view on most things, but my mom sometimes is sceptical.especially about the alien agenda...until she saw this film.
    Keep up with your posts!

JRed, I have agree with Gibby, that Satan will tell just enough truth to make the lie appealing to the flesh, and we know our flesh is always looking for loopholes.

I found your site just a few weeks ago, and while I found a lot of it informative, I have to admit that my soul was not easy with some of the synchro-pop posts. I could see what you were saying and it can be infectious and contagious to get caught up in it, especially in this day and age.

But I have to think of my Bible study. We were talking about "puzzles" in the Bible, things that aren't said, but that we as humans would think about. For example, like why Adam and Eve were only told not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but God didn't say anything about the Tree of Life yet after they sinned, then He set a flaming sword to guard it, etc. It's so easy for our wondrously curious minds to spend time on the "unsaid" things in the Bible and the world around us. We can guess and suppose for countless moments on it all. Those things can be entertaining and even "aha" moments of sorts, but in all honesty, only our Lord knows. And until we are with Him, it might be in our best interests to stick with the Bible--facts we do know.

Because, you see, the danger lies in the distraction. We can get so focused on the "unsaid" things that we forget to really dig into and get fed of the "said" things. The enemy can use that to make us ineffective for God at the least, and worm his way into our lives at the worst.

I know, I've had to ask God for help with focus on what He does tell us, not the puzzles. I want to make certain I know what He does say so the enemy cannot use my lack of knowledge against me. I want to know Him and be certain of His words, so I can serve Him and not the enemy.

I will be praying for you during this struggle, but believe that it will be for His glory if you say ado to the synchro pop.

And, I'd like to add...you've prayed repentance if you have fallen off the course He set before you. So, no longer let it infect you (self-condemnation--there is no condemnation in Him). Refocus on our Almighty God and trust in Him to use whatever you have said or done to be turned to His glory. He can certainly do it if it's His will!

Hi Jeff! We are very glad you have decided to change direction.
It was getting pretty "dark" here.
It is interesting that symbols and such, are believed to empower those who use them, for evil.It seems that the enemy can use them regardless of what the intentions are.God can read hearts and motives, the enemy cannot. It seems we can unwittingly be used to "futher" the darkness by spreading their activities, symbols etc.
Christians are to walk in the light, exalt Jesus, and think on pure holy things for the most part.We are to look for our King, but not with the "signs" and activities of the enemy.
Perhaps the Lord can use some of entries to reach the lost, but we look forward to reading your entries geared to those who are "looking up in fellowship"!! There is sooooo much to say about our King and His near return!!

Jred, Thanks for sharing with us your personal struggle with the direction you've been taking this website. When doubts arise, its sometimes hard to distinguish between being attacked by the enemy from opening a door for the enemy. In the final analysis, you have to pray, as you have been doing, seek God and when you find that place of peace in your heart - that you know and recognize is from God, then just grab hold of it and don't let go. You will always have people with various opinions about what you should or should not do and although we benefit from the wise counsel of others - you cannot be like a reed swaying in the wind. Its greatly evident to all of us reading this website, how much you love the Lord and seek to please Him.
Keep asking for His guidance, He'll never steer you wrong.

Jeff, God gives us all a "gut instinct" that is so valuable & priceless. You know instinctively (God given) what course to pursue as evidenced by your statement above. Thank God. Trust it. Follow it.

You're extremely talented with a sincere & honest heart, I believe, but I do feel that your research would be more fruitful & Christ- honoring spent in the area of current events as they relate to bible prophecy/end times/last days and connect them to the critical good news salvation/Cross message at this late hour on God's prophetic timeclock.

It might be best to make a clean break with the 'ol synchro-pop, as you said. Don't look back! Remember Lot's wife. :)

The Holy Spirit's leading & conviction can never be underestimated in dealing with unbelievers, so trust God and stay on the straight path that you know is right, vs. the rabbit holes that are an enormous distraction for yourself, potentially your family, and others - including unbelievers:

    2 Corinthians 6:17 -

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord..."

There's a ton of Bible prophecy unfolding before our eyes (mind blowing) - Israel, Russia, Iran, Babylon rebuilding, economic, weather, governmental, pestilences, plagues, cashless society, "wars/rumors of wars", "days of Noah"-type generation, "last days" generation: 2 Timothy 3:1-5..."in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves", etc.

Thank you for having a receptive heart & mind to God's direction for your blog. You'll never second-guess yourself when your writings are based on and reference the infallible Holy Bible.

From what I know, to observe signs is to follow astrology. Many farmers over the years have planted by the signs as in by almanacs. If I remember correctly they planted when the signs were decending below the heart. But don't quote me on this. Babies were also weaned when the signs were right. I really don't think that observing what was happening around us could be called observing signs.

Maybe the reason that you feel this way dear Jeff is because
all the synchro slowly fulfilled it's purpose.
All the suggestions, connections were leading up to a point: that something dark would appear. And now it's HERE , the purpose of 'sync ' starts to be....useless.

Because the Dark cannot be fought no longer with discovering all kinds of 'syncs' ; it'll need other weopons, other insight,
otherwise, we will constantly walk áfter the facts,
    instead of ahead

    so,
I m with you on this,
let's listen more intense to what the Lord wishes for us to do and shows us to find out

I am pleased to read this post about leaving synchronicity. I have been a long time reader of your blog and I have been concerned that even though you said you weren't going to write anymore about synchronicity, here it was all over your blog again.
I hope you will have the strength this time to leave it well alone. It is not of God and could lead some of your reader's down paths they should not be venturing.

If you run a website concerning the prophesized endtimes (like i do as well, in Europe) you cannot consider all the different opinions of christians about whether your writings are on a par with the (restrictions mentioned in the) Word of God or not.

Remember, we are under the NEW Covenant. It's all about your heart and conscience. If your heart is right about your motivations, the reason you're writing about synchropop -warning people, not dragging them into it, but pointing at the Bible and our Savior- I'm convinced you should continue.

Regarding your conscience, yes, it can be deceived. But that's up to you, not to us. Paul gave a good example: when the conscience of a (Spirit filled) christian accuses him when he eats meat sacrificed to demons, he is sinning. But when another christian eats the same meat and his conscience does not accuses him, he is NOT sinning. That's the freedom we have in the Spirit.

There are about 200.000 different official opinions on the Bible. You cannot please everyone. If you try to do that, you'll end up with no website (and no message & no warnings) at all. In my view it's everyone's own responsibility what to do with all the information you provide. So take it into prayer and see if it is really the Holy Spirit who's speaking to your heart and conscience to stop writing about synchro-pop, or not.Personally i think you're doing a very good job!

I'm with Armageddon TTY, I enjoy periodic glimpses into synchro-pop; but I'd much rather read your digs into scripture and how they are being fulfilled in the here and now events. I usually just glance over the synchro-pop articles, mainly just to get an idea of what's going on. I love it when God sends us direct messages, though, don't you? He know our hearts, but He also knows our weaknesses! God bless you and keep you on the right trail.

I have been reading your posts for quite sometime, but with prayer and caution. I have often thought about how movies and cartoons (jetson's) seem to predate current events/technology, but never had a name for this phenomenon. After reading your blog I notice how this stuff is literally everywhere, however this IS a confirmation of the sign of the times. I agree, balance is an issue and analyzing too much of this stuff can be overwhelming. I have often skimmed through your posts just to get the main point. PRAISE GOD for showing you to take heed and slow down on this stuff Also PRAISE GOD for giving you the insight to expose because you never know the people you may be touching for the good. Personally speaking it has been a series of events and discoveries such as these along with the study of GOD'S WORD and prophesy which has lead me to the LORD in the first place. I am sure there are others out there like me....wondering what in the heck is going on in this world and why. I admit, that while realizing the times we are in I want so much to tell people what is going on out there (chemtrails n such...strep throat is running rampant this summer!)and even more so EVANGELIZE (I never thought I would say this or be the evangelizing type, but time is short). I am just not sure how to do it. Perhaps as Christians we should be creatively figuring out other ways to reach out to people and Evangelize? Cover yourself with armor daily and may God Bless you and keep you.

I came to the same conclusion yesterday, that my time is better spent in the Word than reading your analyses of Synchro-Pop. While it's all very interesting, I began to feel (again, just yesterday) that this type of study is more flesh-appealing than glorifying the Lord. This posting confirms, to me, anyway, that the Lord Jesus is what I need to focus on, and those "signs" he told us to watch for, which didn't include the Synchro-Pop type things - at least not as deep as what you've been writing about.

Yes, the deception is coming and we need to be prepared and to be able to discern the Word of God to prepare others - not discern pop culture/occult/ufo references.

More importantly, though, is we need to be proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that His death and resurrection is true and that by trusting in Him, one will be saved from their sins.

I can't say whether your Synchronicity/Synchro-Pop analogies were right or wrong, only God can. But, God disciplines those He loves, and if He corrected you about that, then He did. I still love you and respect your willingness to admit you were wrong (if you were). This strengthens my faith in that your obedience to God rather than sliding on pride came to the forefront - a very good example of what we as Christians should do when the Lord does correct or discipline us. I will tell you as the Lord told me years ago, "I will open the doors for you that I want opened, and close the doors I want closed. Just look to Me and I'll show you the way."

My prayers and arms are around you and your family. In Jesus' Name I pray the Lord steadies your spirit and continues to bless all of us through your ministry.

    Thank you for you JRed.

Personally Jeff, I think what you are exposing is how the fallen ones may be communicating with each other in these last days or tools to lead people astray by getting wrapped up in occult signs and wonders. There alot of things that I have followed here that have pointed to events that were said to be taking place on a certain date but never materialized. And now this latest idea that the sun was supposed to be giving off a sunburst yesterday, but that too has not occurred.

What if these things, though very intriging, are being used to set people astray from what they should be watching for? Things outside of what is listed in the Bible.

I know there could be an argument as I too see the very fine line that could be drawn here. I struggle with these things too, but I also know in my spirit that God speaks to me through His Word. If I relied on a fallen world to communicate to me how would I know if it trustworthy? God tells me in His Holy Word to only trust what He says in His Holy Word. The verse you quoted needs to be put into context and this will give us a better understanding of what He wants us to do on this synchro pop subject.

    Deuteronomy 18:9-14
9 When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the LORD your God. 14 The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.

Personally, I do not believe in Synchro Pop, as you describe it. I believe that the powers that be hide messages in their movies. I believe that 1) They are trying to get messages to their initiates world wide through the media about what they plan to do, and 2) They have some inate sense of honor to tell the world that they are planning on enslaving them before they actually do. The Crop Circle phenomenon, I believe is satellite technology with the use of EMF waves. This is used to condition the masses. Believing that God is using the idea of Synchro Pop to give us messages, I think is a mistake. However, showing what the powers that be have hidden in their movies is ok in my opinion. This would not be omens or divination. This would then be showing what the powers that be have obivously hidden in their movies. It has been this way for a long time, from plays to books, to movies. Thus, "Say GoodBye to Synchro Pop", but hello to reporting the obvious. Example: The New Transformer movie has in it the idea of Satan (The Fallen) coming to earth with his fallen angels (decepticons), to access a technology in the pyramid to destroy the world. This lines up somewhat with Joseph P Ferrell's idea about the pyramid being a weapon. The Fallen, who is the main leader of the decepticons tried to destroy humanity in the past, but were stop by the autobots. This is like the pre-flood situtation, when God sent a flood to destroy the wicked world that then was. I am sure many good angels were involved in carrying this out. The comparisons are obviously their in the movies. I would not stop that, but Synchro Pop, YES!

I appreciate what you have shown here on how to see the full messages. We all used to miss not having eyes or ears but now we see. But too much of a good thing can overwhelm and devour us just like the adversary wishes and to get us to grow weary and give up the battle for we see that we are truly surounded on all sides at this point of the battle.

This morning it occured to me while reading this mornings posts that crop circles are graven images and while looking for the scripture on that I came across Exodus 7:4 becuse I couldn't remember (or a typical leading to the Word? ha ha) the commandments are in Ex 20!
Ex 7:4 But pharoah shall not hearken unto you(Moses) that I may lay My hand upon Egypt and bring forth MINE armies(hosts), and MY PEOPLE the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I AM the LORD!
We must stand firm no matter what. Obama has plainly claimed he is like unto God in that he plans to rest from his creation on July 11th! We see him for what he is representing on Earth, sitting in the seat of the most worshipful master of Freemasonry who is Washington!Check out this new vid The Great Seal of Lucifer at:

Jred-You have shown the underlying current of today's entertainment industry & it flesh appealing & I believe demonic.

It's always bothered me since I've been following the Lord & the reason why I refuse to go and watch those type of movies.(I went to see "the Watchman" & ended up regretting it.) Not because I wouldn't find them entertaining but the sybliminal messages containted in this media can effect us more than we realize.

So instead of thinking "I can handle it-who cares" - if I do see a movie I try to watch something that I don't think has been so infiltrated w/demonic themes or glorifying sin. Which leaves out most of what is available now-a-days.

I believe you have been led to expose what is going on here & you have done a terrific job of doing that. Something is definitely up to no good. But perhaps we have a tendency to veer off a little @ become too wrapped up in the details.

It is totally apparent that Satan weaves a web of deception in everything possible & we can trace these things & the actual spirits behind them even back to ancient times.

When I first began to become aware of this on my own it didn't freak me out but I was shocked & almost couldn't believe it. Let's just say it was a real eye-opener & I think the Holy Spirit wanted to show me these things.

Maybe the Lord is just telling us to now veer back to the center of this subject matter. He knows what Satan is trying to pull but perhaps He doesn't feel it necessary that we have knowledge of every satanic detail.

Have you exposed enough of this now that Christians are convinced & convicted enough to stay away from the detestable ways of Hollywood? Shouldn't we as Christians be separate & refuse to be entertained by this stuff?

I don't think the point is that we should become detectives & watch all these movies in order to figure out "the agenda" but realize that there is one & to stay away from it. Keep our eyes focused on righteousness & things of the Lord.

If people don't have enough discernment to see how the media & movies are propagating a Luciferian agenda then they can look & what you have researched & get a clue.

Ruzz Dizdar has been called to an extremely deep spiritual warfare role. The guy deprograms people & casts out demons-this is heavy duty stuff & certainly a specialty.

As mentioned-Seek the Lord & see how He wants you to proceed w/Synchro-pop. Are you supposed to teach everyone here how to be a "specialist" in this area? Or know just enough to warn others to stay away from it? It does look to me like you have a wide & varied audience so that's probably something to consider as well.

Thanks for being so honest & open with us here. It's refreshing & also a great example of how to live in humility.

My opinion is that Satan is a liar and he can use pop culture to deceive even the elect. You may have devoted too much time to synchro-pop and I suggest more of a balance of topics. We can look more into what God is doing in the world right now and, believe me, He is moving mightily. In third world countries, the dead are being raised, the crippled are now walking and blind eyes are being opened. Report on some of these events and it will give hope to those who visit your blog. Date setting that does not come true can cause the weak to doubt and possibly fall away. They are too young in the Lord to cope with fear. Now July 11th is the next date that something eventful is supposed to happen. If it is an uneventful day, that would be a good indicator that all of this date setting is a waste of time and move on to more substantial subjects that will feed the flock.

I can't say I would miss that subject because for me some of the information seemed like rabbit holes. I like looking at the obvious as someone else stated. Please don't be offended. :)

I don't think it's a bad thing recognizing what the enemy is doing. For example, I think crop circles are something we shouldn't ignore just because it's from the dark side. Do we just stick our heads in the sand? We have a real enemy and he is communicating with humanity. It's not as if we are being led astray by it; we'd be warning the lost of the enemy's strategy. Do you remember reading the statistic about the minimal belief in the existance of 'the devil?' This would be one example to confirm his existance.

It's a fine line and I believe that the Holy Spirit will guide us in all our endeavors-if we let Him lead and not our flesh. That's how I know what subjects I'm to study.

The Lord continue to bless you and yours!

    WordWarriorDeb,

Crop Circles are "graven images". Hummm-you may have a point there.

It would be a helpful study to take all of the Biblical passages of dark side warnings & apply them to our day.

Especially as we become more & more aware of the supernatural & demonic in the end times- not to mention we don't know what's going to surface around the next bend.

I have to ask myself-why have I never thought of crop circles in that light? When I think of a "graven image" the only thing that came to mind was a carved statue of some type. But what is the difference here? It's something "carved" in a plant field and it is an image/symbol of who knows what.

The intricacies of the crop circle designs make us "wonder" about them don't they? Are we marveling after a "sign" & "wonder"?

(Uh Oh- guilty as charged }: I actually prayed to the Lord about this just a few days ago-asking Him if I should let it be or is there some reason to look into it further?)

Spending time trying to figure out crop circle messages and placing any credibility into the interpretation of something created by demonic entities is probably a big waste of time & a distraction.

All right, I can see the Lord gently & lovingly shepherding some of us back on track.

On one hand it's great to have such faith in the Lord, a sense of Peace even in the face of our enemy, & devoid of a spirit of fear.

But with that trait we also need to know "rules" of engagement. Such as the prime example of graven images, sorceries, divinations & the like & apply them to our current times.

Some Christians do have more of a spirit of fear than others.

A spirit w/o fear who doesn't realize God's view on the matter will have more of a predisposition to "cross the line" because we tend to rely on our conscience & fear to warn us.

So fearing God & keeping His commandments is going to have to be our fear to keep us in check. But in order to do that we have realize the details of what God's warnings are & have the head knowledge of these things in
    order to apply it.

If we look into the Bible & History for examples it's amazing to see what some of the cults actually practiced in the Bible days. Could you imagine as a Christian standing firm in the Lord & going though some of those things? The same spirits are still around & the activities also occur in our time but it doesn't appear to be as cut & dry.

If we don't fear satan's schemes then relying on our personal
"fear" to warn us isn't going to do it because some of us have little if none to rely on in the
1st place. Praise God for that confidence in Him but it can also be used against us.

I could probably follow a trail into to the pit of hell, stand back & say- "Oh, that's interesting." while others would be entirely freaked out by what they see.

The Holy Spirit does want to warn & reveal things to us-but up to what point are we to search out a matter if it has an evil nature to it? I guess that's something some of us need to explore. Where does the knowledge end & the amazement & wondering begin?

Satan already knows how to trip us up individually & our Father in Heaven will not allow that to occur if we obedient & listening for His voice. He's going to cut Satan off at the pass & deliver us from the evil one. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lord isn't about to fine tune us now in order to prepare us for what's ahead.
