Star Trek Overflowing With Symbolism

NOTE: Given the film's popularity, the Director's connection to many unbelievable examples of Synchro-Pop, and the fact that this story has a DIRECT CONNECTION to the entire "Jellyfish Crop Circle" phenomenon we've all been trying to wrap our brains around, I strongly encourage you to take the time to read this carefully in case I've missed something or have failed to spot a connection. I no longer have any doubts that this was "one of those key films" that has some kind of an encoded message just as we've suspected other examples of pop culture have.

Star Trek overflowing with symbolism? Nah, it couldn't be!
Seems we've covered this once before.

Someone told me it was my birthday last week so I decided to take a couple of hours for myself and I went to see the new Star Trek film by J.J. Abrams.

I wasn't prepared for what I saw on the big screen because it definitely felt like a personal experience. What I mean by that is that it was like someone had scanned my brain before I entered the theater, knew exactly all the things we had been examining here in relation to Bible prophecy, and then somehow worked it into the film I watched for 2 hours. Calling it "surreal" doesn't cut it.

Anyway, have a look at the exciting trailer:

Despite what we know about Abrams' uncanny role in the "mass conditioning" and Psy-Ops function of Hollywood films (whether he knows it or not), the guy is a gifted filmmaker! Dare I call him an auteur, which is a high honor bestowed upon those in his profession? Probably too early in his career to do that. The guy hasn't even won an Oscar yet let alone been nominated for one.

This film was entertaining from beginning to end and it even left me wanting more. The casting choices were brilliant and the set design and special effects were breathtaking. All in all, it was the perfect vehicle for delivering a very specific message to the audience, and if we're right about how this could be what lies in our near future, then it's also the perfect piece of propaganda to deliver to captive hearts and minds.

Whenever I watch a movie these days (especially the big blockbusters) I'm also trying to be mindful of anything I see and hear that I think might have some prophetic significance. I caught a quite a bit in this one, but will admit that it was difficult at times trying to remain objective because, again, it was an emotional, entertaining thrill ride.

So, what exactly did I pick up on? Let's just say that I was amazed at how this one film had something to say about ALL THE MAJOR THEMES we've been examining here over the past few months:

> Alien / UFO Phenomenon - Integration With Society On Earth
> Death / Rebirth / Reincarnation / Resurrection
> Supernova Catastrophic Event / Space Anomalies
> Crop Circle Phenomenon ("Jellyfish Crop Circle")
> Alternate Realities / Time Travel
> Antichrist Figure
> Our Future/Past Lies In The Stars

Star Trek overflowing with prophetic symbolism? That's a shocker. Ok, not really. As I said earlier, it was hardly a surprise.

What did I notice that caught my eyes and ears? Plenty.

1. For one, whenever they showed the open fields in Iowa where they were building starships (it's also the place where new Starfleet recruits report in order to begin their career) I thought about the recent news from the other day about how
New Mexico had built a major "space port" in the desert.

2. Of course, having the obligatory bad guy being named "Nero" in this day and age wasn't lost on this student of prophecy. In fact, we even commented on this in a previous column.

>
Nero is said by some to be a precursor of this future "Beast from the Sea" and he even claimed to be the sun-god Apollo. Hmmm, there's that mythological connection again.

> Strangely, one of the things we focused on in this forum a week or two ago had to do with
the coming persecution of Christians. How odd is it then that Revelation 13:7 speaks of the power given to the beast to make war with the saints, and that Nero was the first of the imperial authorities to persecute Christianity when the movie depicts our heroes attempting to stop Nero before he can arrive to persecute and destroy Earth?

> Sticking with the thoughts that an evil character named Nero evokes, and as being the first to persecute Christianity, we also find a strange similaritiy in that the prophecy of Revelation 13:10 states: "If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if any one kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed." According to
Tertullian, Nero was also the first to assail the Christian sect with the imperial sword.

> It doesn't end there though! What else have we been seeing as a constant theme lately? This idea of REINCARNATION/RESURRECTION, right? I mean, if it wasn't the whole "Obama-As-A-Reincarnation-Of-An-Ancient-Egyptian-Pharoah" set of stories as evidenced
HERE and HERE, then it was that story about those American parents who believe their little boy is actually the reincarnation of a World War II pilot! Plus, tonight I just saw the headline: Hospital that treated Jackson is known for 'raising the dead'. What gives? Would you believe that there's a connection between this and Nero? Yes! That reference to the mortal wound on one of the heads of the Beast "inflicted by the sword", which was later healed (found in Revelation 13:3; Revelation 13:14) is thought to be a direct reference to Nero by some! History records that he committed suicide by the sword at the age of 30. Scholar Daniel K. Wong wrote that the "healing of the wound" alludes to the so-called Nero Redivivus Legend, or the "revival of Nero" myth, which is based on a rumor that Nero had just disappeared to Parthia and would one day reappear. This is why some have theorized in the past that Nero would reemerge supernaturally one day as the end times Antichrist. Through reincarnation/resurrection maybe (or so it would be sold to the world that way) mimicing Jesus Christ.

> If this theory that Nero will be reincarnated/resurrected as the Antichrist in the end times is what's going to be sold to us, then this next fact takes on even greater importance. The readers of Revelation were told to "calculate the number of the Beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six" (
Revelation 13:18). Since the Book of Revelation was written to a first-century audience, sometime in late 64 AD, John probably did not expect that his readers "who had understanding" to have any difficulty identifying the beast, since they could simply calculate the meaning of this cryptogram. "Neron Kaisar" (the Greek rendering, documented by archaeological finds), when transliterated into Hebrew נרון קסר (Nrwn Qsr) had a number of 666!

3. For those who saw this film, did anyone else notice how Nero's starship looked like a Jellyfish!?! Long, black tentacle-looking things is what immediately made me think of that. Now, where have we seen that before?

Just compare the two photos and it's uncanny really! First, here's a shot of that "Jellyfish Crop Circle" that had everyone buzzing:

Now, contrast that with the look of Nero's starship in the new Star Trek film:

Striking similarities, huh? What are the odds? And consider that this is the FIRST TIME the Star Trek universe has ever shown a starship (friendly or otherwise) that looks like this. It was truly the first of its kind and unique after 40 years worth of the franchise and multiple films and television series'. In that sense it's remarkable really that the audience's first look at such a vessel perfectly coincided with the entire Jellyfish Crop Circle phenomenon.

But that's not the half of it! In my research I learned that there was an exclusive 4-part comic book series that served as a prequel and back story to the film. It left no question unanswered and filled in a lot of the blanks. You should read all about it and view the striking images
HERE.

Apparently, the comics bridge the gap between the 40 year old Star Trek (or Prime universe) and the new Star Trek (or 2.0 universe) that the new movie is kick starting (no spiritual significance to the number 40 is there?). More specifically, it explains Nero's motivations, how he gets the technology to exact his revenge, and Spock Prime's part in the events.

Here's the part I wanted to share for obvious reasons: "With the supernova expanding, Spock decides to deposit the red matter weapon. He takes the Jellyfish, a ship developed by La Forge that can withstand extreme environmental conditions." I know I'm a Christian and I'm supposed to watch my mouth, but WTF!?! You've got to be kidding me, right? The ship is actually named the "Jellyfish" after all of this? Someone's just messing with my brain now because this is insane! How in the world do we explain this? What in the world does it mean if anything?

4. The pages of the comic book that depicts the above mentioned sequence of events is also worth a look. Why? Because it mentions two additional concepts that have dominated Bible prophecy discussions recently -- Nanotechnology and The Singularity. Wow! My head is literally going to explode.

5. Though not in the film, the comic book prequel series mentions the Reman who play a significant role in this story. Before I explain why I want to include this in my analysis today let me first give you the description of them from Wikipedia: "In the fictional Star Trek universe, Remans are natives of the planet Remus, resembling bats. They were first introduced in the movie Star Trek Nemesis. According to the film's backstory, they were subjugated ever since the Romulans staked claim and set up their new homeworld in the system. Since Remus is tidally locked with the system's primary star, the species lives in constant darkness, and so the Remans are extremely sensitive to light.
It was never made clear if the Remans were the original inhabitants, or were a mutated offshoot of the original Vulcan colonists, or the result of interbreeding between the original Vulcan colonists and the original inhabitants of Romulus or Remus. Though grotesque, their morphological constitution has much in common with their possible Vulcan progenitors, such as pointed ears, limited telepathic powers, and greater physical strength and endurance than most humanoid species. Whatever the case of their origins, their grotesque appearance and unique constitution owes much to the race living generation after generation in an intensely hostile and radioactive environment. As eons passed they became more distinct from their ancestors as a result of both natural selection and genetic drift."

> Please go back and re-read that description. They sound a lot like the Nephilim giants or perhaps even the creatures that will one day be released from the Bottomless Pit according to end times prophecy. In the Star Trek mythology they were even used as "shock troops" and "cannon fodder" in battle because they were "fierce warriors". Have a look:

> As absurd as you might think it is to include it here, do you recall the "NASA bat story" from just this past March? Ok, so just stop and think about the mathematical odds of this sort of thing happening by chance. You know, of these bat-like creatures playing a key role in this particular Star Trek film and having a one in a million bat related story involving NASA and space travel here in the real world. It defies all explanation and logic, doesn't it?

6. In a few scenes, Nero uses a weapon from his ship to rain a beam of fire down from the sky, which allowed him to drill a hole into the planet. The imagery immediately made me recall Revelation 13:13 that reads "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men."

7. In another scene when the young James T. Kirk is on a snowy, unknown planet he's being chased by 2 creatures that had a very close resemblance to
the types of creatures we looked at last week in the bunyip!

8. I know that's a lot to swallow already, but would you believe that Abrams also works in a supernova event as a key part to the entire story? The galaxy is threatened by the Hobus Star, which will become a supernova. Ambassador Spock proposes that the Romulans transport the precious mineral Decalithium to Vulcan, where it can be converted into red matter capable of turning the star into a black hole, therefore ending its threat. The senate opposes Spock, but he finds a comrade in Nero, the leader of the miners. We all know we've addressed that as a possible event connected to end times prophecy somehow. Again, how do we explain all of this?

At this point, I'm pretty much tapped out. This is what I remember from the movie after seeing it a little over a week ago.

As I've written over and over again, the genius of all of this is you can't explain it to laypeople without sounding completely insane. Then again, I've been used to that for quite some time as a student of prophecy; a watchman on the wall if you will. The one good thing to come from all of this is that for those who still remain hardened skeptics when it comes to the Bible and the prophecies found within its pages, I'd venture to guess that you have to be becoming more and more convinced that the sheer volume and complexity of all of this is way beyond the scope of mere human agency like I've suggested all along.

I'm not saying there's not a boatload of intentional symbolic mischief out there, but that is just a very small piece of the puzzle. Again, these powerful groups and individuals who lurk in the shadows are actively trying to worship their god (Satan) publicly through the language of rituals and symbols (Hollywood is the best vehicle that allows them to do that in front of millions of captive hearts and minds worldwide), but they are only given free reign to the extent that God allows it to fulfill His ultimate plan for humanity.

Bottom line, there is some wacky weirdness occuring daily, and this entire saga presented in today's film review and prophetic analysis is just another example of it all! My head is spinning and my mind is racing trying to process everything in an attempt to piece it all together.

Coincidence? Finding a connection where none lies? Or a warning in advance? Stay tuned. Quite honestly, I'm still sorting things out and trying to determine if there's genuinely any merit to it at all as I've been saying I believe there is (no matter how small the kernal of truth may be). I'll continue to offer my findings to you here on a regular basis as long as I'm allowed to so that you can take them under prayerful consideration to the Lord. It's funny because I keep trying to disprove these "connections" to myself, but no matter how hard I try I simply can't ignore these things.

I'd also love to hear your thoughts on all of this in the Comments Section. Thank you. Keep looking up!

J-Red,
Wanted to ask you if you had seen Donnie Darko and the sequel S Darko?and what you thought about those films compared to end time prophesy or at least what we know of the capability of the gov't concerning time travel. Also, the undertones to the films are pretty demonic, though they portray them as ghostly figures.Just wanted to know your thoughts, if you had any.

The comic strip aspect of this does not really surprise me at all. I have not kept up on comics since I was a kid & all I remembered were superman, Spiderman, & that style of strip.

I was in a Borders Bookstore about a year ago & walked over to the comic strip area. I couldn't let the kids "go there" although cartoons are inviting to them. Almost every cover picture drawn was demonic in nature.

I really came away sort of "shocked" about it all. How blatant does it get?

If any of you happen into a Bookstore take a look for yourself. In addition to the comics they also had some grotesque action figures to compliment them.

Speaking of action figures. What is with the "boy" toy aisle nowadays? I have two girls but there are some disgusting demonic looking toys for children in boy's section. The girl's section is still fairly cute but the negative draw is sexy/fashion looking dolls such as "Bratz".

I just listened to Hour 1 of an interview w/Steve Quale & Tom Horn.

Mr. Horn has just written a new book due to be out shortly but what may interest you is that in this interview he speaks quite a bit of "Nero" & the "Egyptian" theme going on behind the scenes. This interview ties in quite nicely with what Jred has been researching here.

Look to the right side of the page for the Tom Horn Interview on Tues 6:30

Hi Jeff,

You're excitement is palpable regarding the deciphering of secular media.

However, given the definition and verse below, where does one draw the line as a Christian when seeking to understand future events by interpreting 'occult' messages or agendas?

No offence but might you be involved in interpreting 'omens'?

Thanks,

Omen=an occurence of phenomenon believed to portend a future event
(Webster Dictionary)

Deut. 18:10 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in [a] the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,

Anonymous,

I get your concern. Believe me I do. That verse has always been on my mind since I began writing about such things.

In the end, it's about exposing the darkness of deceit with the light of truth and applying the clear command we find in Matthew 10:16.

Plus, I've reconciled this with the fact that all of these "observations/studies" point to our Lord and Creator if not Jesus Christ, and, more importantly, I use them to encourage others (prophecy skeptics and/or the unsaved) to get right with God and make a decision for Christ by attempting to demonstrate that if this really is God using anything and everything within His creation to get people's attention (one last time) before it's too late, then maybe this is an ok practice.

Like I said, that's always been on my mind as well as the verse where Jesus Himself tells the believer to depart from Him even though they claimed to have prophesied in His name.

Sobering thoughts, but I trust that if God doesn't want me to write about such things anymore (especially if these are "wrong" or if I'm "doing it wrong"), then He'll let me know somehow or stop me from continuing down the wrong path or from leading people astray.

Great question/point though. Would love to see what others have to say. Thanks for stopping by and for commenting.

In Christ,

Jeff (JRed)

Spock is a hybrid 1/2 mortal man and 1/2 VULCAN. He has mind melding reading by force power & uses satanic handsignals. Nephilm
His parents were in a cave worshipping before a large stone Idol...

"The Mason must "follow in the footsteps of his forefather, Tubal-Cain, who with the mighty strength of the war god hammered his sword into a plowshare." In the Masonic Quiz Book, the candidate is asked this question: "Who was Tubal Cain?" Answer: "He is the Vulcan of the pagans." [William P. Peterson, Editor, Masonic Quiz Book: "Ask Me Brother", Chicago, Illinois, Charles T. Power Company, 1950, p. 18, 88, 131, 213; also found in John Yarker, The Arcane Schools:
But what is the meaning of the Vulcan of the pagans? A very important question because Manly P. Hall advises the Mason that, once he has the seething energies of Lucifer in his hands, he is to walk in Tubal-Cain's footsteps.
"Vulcan was a sun deity who was associated with fire, thunderbolts and light. The festival in honor of him was called the Vulcania in which human sacrifices were offered." [Percival George Woodcock, Short Dictionary of Mythology, New York, Philosophical Library, p. 152]. "According to Diel, he bears a family relationship to the Christian devil."
