What We're Praying/Talking About

Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

Armor Of God -- Notable Quotable

"This also requires putting on the whole armour of God as we are commanded to do in Ephesians, Chapter 6. And as we consider this, we need to remember that the armour is God's, not ours. We are not living in the 1770's. We are not at the beginning of our nation's days, we are at the end. So, if they take away your right to bear arms (your armour), then remember God commands us to put His on anyway. Does anyone think our arms are more powerful?"

I totally agree! Here is part of a poem I wrote last year. I didn't mean to be presumptuous, just felt like I was sensing the heart of GOD one day....

---I give you life and ability!
I make it possible for you to write beautiful songs
And cook great meals
And build magnificent buildings.
It doesn’t matter that you don’t give Me the credit for those things
My Name is praised
Holy, Holy, Holy is My Name!

I don’t need you to make me real, I AM.
I don’t answer to your calling me down as if I were some god you could conjure.
I don’t recognize your presumptuous prayers that ‘I will do something’
I have done it. It is finished. On earth as it IS in heaven.
You My sheep who are so lost
You don’t even realize that you do praise me
Every time you do something beautiful, wonderful, creative.
It may not be your heart intention, but you are My creation.
You are the work of My hand.

It’s My world, My universe, My creation; My beginning and end.
I AM the author and perfector!
You dare to conspire against Me!
You think you can set up a kingdom better than Mine!
Can your military might come up against Me, when I am
In the waves, in the storms, in the tempest, in the quakes!
Can your tanks stand against Me when the earth shakes?
You think you can manipulate an atom and do harsh damage to your neighbor
When I can throw the sun down on you!
Listen!
I hear the cries of my people
I hear the cries of those who are dealt no justice at all
I hear the cry of millions upon millions of unborn babies that
your kingdom rule has murdered!
Do you actually think you can insult me with your sodomite ‘Hunky Jesus’ contests?
You insult yourself! You show Me how stupid you really are!
You say ‘oh things go on and on just like they have every generation; so where is this Jesus’?
Oh, you will see Me soon!
My eyes will be burning with fire. My glory will be more than you can stand!
Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that I AM LORD!
You will be rendered helpless as My Truth is no longer suppressed in you, because
I AM WHO sustains the existence of all things!-------
