"Don't allow the left/right dichotomy to compartmentalize your beliefs or marginalize you as conspiracy nut. This rhetoric has been rampant for months now and appears, to be growing in it's dissemination in the media. It is right to question, it is human to disagree...any less, and we are the slaves they want us to be. However, this is the type of reactionary nonsense they wish to incite...don't fall for the trap." --Todd Campbell / Through The Looking Glass
"Don't fall for the trap" seems to be the direction I'm leaning in this entire saga involving burgeoning sentiment of political and social unrest in this country as I wait on the Lord.
For clarification as to what I mean by that please read Tamara's encouraging comments HERE.

I appreciated Tamara's encouraging words. I really think we are going to need people who have the gift of encouragement in the very near future. I'm not sure why I am so troubled in my spirit. Yes, I know, ... we're in the last days, but for some reason, my gut intuition is telling me it's something more....I was going to write a blog this morning after reading about tornadoes in Minneapolis tearing the steeple off a Lutheran Church there. My immediate reaction was that this was the beginning of God's judgment against His church. Part of my Bible study this morning (Kay Arthur's Only You Can Change Me) was Ezekial 9:4-6. (I did my study before I read the news article.) Before I got to write my blog post, I had to leave my home to do some things and when I came home, I sat down to rest a little and to read this blog post:

I was flabbergasted! I feel the spirit confirming that Joseph Herrin's assessment is correct.
I feel that this also confirms a feeling I had within my spirit that the trees knocked down in Central Park in NYC is a part of this judgment.
May God have mercy on us all. Thank you, Jeff, for your web site which has brought me and possibly many others into acknowledgement of how far we had slipped away from the true Gospel. If I had not found your site, I might not have found a couple of others which have truly convicted me of my need to "come out" of my love of this world, and out of a church that has not taught anything other than the "love" of God. It's easy to know God's love, but what about his righteousness, his holiness, his final act as "JUDGE"!??? I have even questioned my own pastor about his duty to tell our "seeker friendly" and "unchurched" majority about end times prophecy, but it did not persuade him that it was necessary. It is WAY late in the game, and we have to be vigilant and continue spreading the word, it is time to repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.

PS I hope this post made sense. I had much I wanted to convey to you, but what I was really trying to say is read Joseph's post, it is profound.
Kim, thanks for that article. I found years ago that the MMR had aborted dna in it and I would not get a booster. Also, I have heard from reliable sources that in some countries, it is considered a delicacy to eat aborted babies and that in some countries, you should not buy from some meat markets because they do sell human flesh.
I used to think a couple years ago that we had hit rock bottom morally but I was wrong. We hit it when we allowed the govt to make abortion legal. If we cannot protect the most innocent of human beings, why would we protect anyone else? Abortion is a real smack in the face of the GOD of creation!
Kim, if you are just now 'waking up" to some things, praise GOD! I will pray for you. It is a lonely walk coming out of church and then when the LORD really starts showing you things, it gets even lonelier. But we are not alone. We have the LORD and HE will comfort us. But you are right, we have GOT to walk in obedience.
Thanks again Jeff for this websight, for the information and for the believers out there that can be somewhat connected!
Dee
PS I will completley understand if you dont want to post this one...and maybe pray about it cause we may have some brethren on here that may have suffered an abortion...I know that GOD's forgiveness is huge and there is nothing HE won't forgive. And I hope that all those out there that have had an abortion, know that you have a loving FATHER, who wants to heal you...
