This one's for the skeptics who don't believe in God, His Holy Bible, or the prophecies written upon its pages. This one's also for those Christians who believe in God and read their Bible, but who just can't accept that we're living in the prophesied "end times" at the moment.
The thinking goes that there have been generations past that have believed theirs was the one that would see the return of Jesus Christ after the fulfillment of the last days prophecies. Ultimately, those things never materialized so they reason that it's worthless and a waste of our time to think the same thing about this day and age. Plus, they wonder why anyone would want to focus on all the "doom-and-gloom" associated with the subject. Life is bad enough these days. Do we really want to add more stress to our lives?
Sadly, there's far too many people who fall into one of these two categories and who exhibit this type of thinking on one of the most important areas of Christianity despite the litany of evidence to suggest that they should stop ignoring the facts and begin acknowledging the truth.
For instance, let's just look at the current political, cultural, social, religious, and economic landscape as it exists today. Then, you can tell me if you still think there's no reason to believe that we could very well be in the midst of the end times that Jesus warned us about.
That brings me to today's topic. I was going back over the news I missed while I was away on my "hiatus" about a month ago. Fulfilled Prophecy had a link to a speech that Hillary Clinton gave on September 11, 2009. It goes hand-in-hand with everything we already know regarding the Alliance of Civilizations (AOC) and its connection to the One World Religion.
Here's what Clinton had to say:
We will continue to form partnerships with those who share our values, like the Government of the Netherlands. On Monday, the United States will take its place as a returning member of the UN Human Rights Council. When I made the decision that we would rejoin the Human Rights Council – (applause) – there were those who questioned that. How can you be part of something that is so contrary to the values that we espouse, that we wish to uphold, not only here at home but around the world? Well, we are going in to the arena. One of our priorities will be upholding universal standards for freedom of expression as we combat intolerance and discrimination everywhere it rears it head. (Applause.)
Similarly, we wish to stand firmly on the side of the freedom of religion. As President Obama noted in his historic speech in Cairo, faith should bring us together. That's why we have welcomed international efforts such as Turkey and Spain's leadership in the Alliance of Civilizations. It’s one of the reasons that on my first trip as Secretary of State I visited Indonesia – the world’s most populous Muslim country and a secular democracy. It’s why we are encouraging people of different religions to come together not only in dialogue, but in service. In projects ranging from Malaria prevention in Africa to disaster assistance in South Asia, we are laying a foundation for good works – and good relations – among the world’s religious communities. Learning to respect the faith of our neighbors should be the price of admission into the 21st century.
So, it should be "the price of admission", huh? By "learning to respect the faith of our neighbors", I'm assuming that Secretary Clinton means that we should all be expected to respect every single religion under the Sun -- EXCEPT Christianity, right? If you think that's outta line, think again. That's PRECISELY what the Alliance of Civilizations (AOC) and the recent Hate Crimes Bill signed into law in this country seek to establish.
For those who don't remember, The Alliance of Civilizations (AOC) is a UN-led project initiated by Turkey and Spain to promote dialogue and cooperation between different cultures of the East and the West, and it is gaining traction across the globe. President Obama even through his full weight behind the AOC during his big Cairo, Egypt speech even though the mainstream media ignored it (or even attempted to explain to the average American citizen what the AOC was all about).
Actually, I spent an entire show talking about this coming reality and its prophetic implications and even discussed how it is intricately connected with the infamous Hate Crimes Bill that was just signed by President Obama today. You can listen to that show (from 7/17) HERE and read the follow-up commentary HERE.
Let me be blunt and ask the obvious: Could this be the tool that is used to create a One World Religious System? Ok, that was a rhetorical question because I believe that it is. Wait, to be more clear, I believe that right now there's nothing else in this world (except maybe the so-called "Alien/UFO" phenomenon and its connection to Scientology) that is a better candidate -- nothing else in this world right now that's a better vehicle -- that could be used to establish the One World Religion. Watch the following video and judge for yourself.
Pretty compelling, isn't it? The story doesn't end there though.
Today, I also read that the so-called "Defamation of Religions" UN Resolutions, proposed by the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), would create a "Global Blasphemy Law". Nice. I bet I can imagine how that would work:
ME: "Faith in Jesus Christ is the only one, true way to the Father in Heaven."
THEM: "Blasphemy! How dare you offend the religious views of billions worldwide!?! You're so insensitive and narrow-minded you bigot! Not to mention it's against the law to say such things!"
On a quick side note, does anyone else notice how all these pseudo-religious movements (political organizations obsessed with taking the "offensiveness" and "sin" out of any form of religion that exists; mainly Christianity) is nothing more than a power grab by the Islamic-Muslim world? Why are these groups so influential when it comes to these sorts of things? Why are they the only ones who have a say in these matters? Well, of course, we all know why that is. It's a key hallmark of the end times for those of you who are still unwilling to commit to the truth of the hour we're living in.
Ok, so what of this "Defamation of Religions" thing? Leonard A. Leo, the Chair of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, testified to Members of Congress on the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission that though the resolutions sounded "tolerant and progressive", in reality they would "exacerbate" religious persecution and discrimination around the world.
No surprise there. Here's another telling quote by Leo:
"Although the 'defamation' resolutions purport to protect religions generally, the only religion and religious adherents that are specifically mentioned are Islam and Muslims."
Precisely. See, we're not the only ones who can see through this smoke screen of "We Are The World"-ism and political correctness.
The "Defamation of Religions" Resolutions are expected to be formally proposed for renewal by OIC next month or later this year.
You know, if Obama plays his cards right maybe he can sign away our national sovereignty and our freedom of religion and freedom of speech at the same time in December.
Finally, I was disgusted to learn that Seinfeld creator Larry David thinks that urinating on a portrait of Jesus Christ is funny and playful. I wonder if we can claim that we're offended and have him prosecuted under the new Hates Crimes law that Obama just signed. Nope! Oh, that's right, I completely forgot! Silly me! He would've had to have urinated on a portrait of a homosexual like Chad Allen, Neil Patrick Harris, Clay Aiken, Lance Bass, Rosie O'Donnell, or Ellen DeGeneres because this new law only covers them as a protected class.
I chose these news stories for a reason. They clearly demonstrate that we, more than any generation before us, have more reason to believe that we're living in the prophesied end times that Jesus Himself spoke of.
Why? Well, simply put, these are just a handful of the many specific prophecies that the Bible (some prophetic books written 2,000+ years ago!) talked about that are happening -- for the first time, all at the same time -- right before our very eyes! I mean, we haven't even mentioned these developments in relation to other prophetically significant headlines of the day like Israel, Iran, the Middle East, Russia, Biotechnology/Cloning, Religious Persecution, Extreme Weather, and Immorality.
The key difference between then and now is that this is not only the first time that all these specific prophecies are occurring, but also the fact that they're all happening at the same time is what should give us pause and get our undivided attention.
The Bible is clear: The end times, last days, Tribulation (however you choose to label this time period) will need a "One World Everything" to be in place in order for the Antichrist to be able to rise to power by taking control of that global apparatus and using it to exert his will upon humanity.
Surely, the pieces are being moved into place at a rapid pace these days. I strongly urge you to prayerfully consider these facts and share the good news of the Gospel with others before it's too late.
Luke 21:28 (KJV) And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.
Keep looking up. Lord come quickly.
We already know the price of admission for the secularists in their New World Order. Praise God that we have His Word to tell us quite plainly the price of admission into the Kingdom of Heaven:
Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
What We're Praying/Talking About
Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

Hi Jred,
Do you read any Mark Steyn?
http://www.steynonline.com/
They picked the wrong guy to come after in Canada with their "hate-crimes" laws. Another man with talent on loan from God.
"Under President Obama, the United States has now joined the UN Human Rights Council, an entirely fraudulent body which protects the world’s thugs and on which the Organization of the Islamic Conference dominates. In 2008, it rammed through a resolution restricting speech that “constitutes an act of racial or religious discrimination”—in effect, a planetary group-defamation law to insulate Islam from criticism: collective rights on a global scale, and at the cost of individual ones. The U.S., as part of its outreach to the Muslim world, has decided to go along with that after weeks of negotiations with that well-known human-rights beacon, Egypt. “Freedom of expression,” said Hisham Badr, the Egyptian ambassador, “has sometimes been misused.”
Indeed. The good news is such “misuse” seems unlikely to be much of a problem in the future. The free world is conceding great principles, inch by inch but faster and faster.

Mark 13:17
But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
I have known since a young child that we are living in the last days. As an 8 year old I would constantly watch the moon checking to make sure it wasn't red yet. My lifes choices have been molded by this fact. At 16 I was sure the end was nigh with the cold war brewing (rumours of wars). Now in mid 30's this fact has never left my mind...nor shall it. Larry David must realize that he will one day bow before the enthroned King of Kings. I say everyone should boycott HBO for this--if I had it I would. The LORD is my shepherd and I shall not want... I desire only HIM. Maranatha!
Jeff,
Just wanted to say you were missed while you were gone on "break". Your a part of my daily read and a tool I use for witnessing.
God Bless You. You are strong in the Lord. Funny how we might seem weak to our selves but how strong we can be for others?? Like you posted, we will never know the effect we had on others. This resonated deep with me today. Thanks. Rob in SC
As we continue to see the pieces fall into place, it does beg the question "what will the one-world religion be?" Islam seems to be the perfect candidate in the sense that it has captured the spotlight, and it even has roots in the Bible. A pseudo-scientific form of Christianity would also seem to be a likely candidate.
My gut instinct though, is to keep an eye on the Baha'i. It is all-inclusive, very touchy/feely, and already has its 7 global regions/structure. They claim one god in many forms, or at least with many 'lieutenants', so they are really pan-theistic. Check out their website and notice the mass appeal of their causes; human rights, the environment, living in harmony, one-world this and that. The perfect tool for Satan to use, in other words.
Someone with some research time should see if there is any connection between Baha'i and the Alliance of Civilizations. Or to the NWO puppeteers. Baha'i gives me the same kind of wary repulsion that Barack Obama gave me when he first ran for the Senate. I am convinced this was a revelation of the Holy Spirit...whether or not he is 'the One', he is certainly a player as you have pointed out in the blog. There was something palpable about 'O's rise to power, and there is something palpable about this new-world-religion.

Good post J!
I totally understand your frustration with friends and family that don't get it that we are in the last days. I get that same attitude as well when I speak of such things.
I guess we are all just "over opinionated" and paranoid beyond the reasonable limit. HA!
God be with you as you continue to preach and share! You are not alone!

Thanks everyone. Excellent comments as always.
Scott, I loved your point about the Baha'i and almost forgot about them even though I did a piece or two a few months back.
Maybe it's time to revisit them as well and see what we might find.
God bless you all!

There is a considerable segment of the christian church that holds the view that there is no such thing as a 'Great Tribulation', and that the christian church will gradually establish 'dominion'over the rest of the world, and then hand it over to the Lord Jesus at the end of a 1000 year period.
In a subtle way, this concept leads to 'man' being placed at the centre of things rather than the Lord Jesus Christ.
You can find an introduction to what is referred to as 'Dominion Theology' on my Cult Resources Blog> along with links to many resources that cover the details.
To my mind, this is an important but overlooked aspect of the 'end times' scenario. Once understood, you will see how the concept can be used to unify many distinct groups across denominations.
Des Scahill,
Thanks for stopping by and for commenting.
Yes, you're absolutely right about "Dominionism" being a threat, and I was first exposed to the study about a year ago so I'm still a bit of a newbie to the subject as it relates to end times prophecy.
I will definitely check out your blog. Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon.
