Wow! My head is still spinning after the last few posts to this website.
Because I don't want the magnitude of those reports lost on anyone due to the length of each column here's a quick recap that should help:
Prophesied One World Government Imminent
Prophesied One World Economy/One World Currency Imminent
Prophesied One World Religion Imminent
(thanks Arlene!)
Prophesied Mark of the Beast Has Arrived
The prophetic significance of all four separate yet intricately related news items cannot be overstated because they portray just how close we are to the start of Daniel's 70th Week and the Tribulation. I can see why some have argued that the Tribulation has already begun, but that's a discussion for another day.
Plus, the fact that so much is happening so fast -- growing in frequency and intensity -- is further evidence and confirmation of Jesus' own words about these times when he likened them to a woman in labor about to give birth (Matthew 24:8). The 'contractions' are closer together and growing stronger and stronger each time!
Friends, this is undeniable proof that the Holy Bible can be trusted. For anyone to ignore and attempt to refute such hard evidence is not only intellectually dishonest, but wilfully ignorant in my book.
Spread the word that now is the time for people to fall to their knees and seek God's forgiveness and salvation before it's too late.
Gives new meaning to the phrase 'All in a day's work', doesn't it?

Jred, I for one am excited - I can't help but look forward to being with Jesus!
Maranatha!
Jred and Courtney. I too am very excited about meeting Jesus. However, I am filled with some dread and trepidation. Could I ask this forum a personal question about how I am to handle this? If it were just me I cared about, then this how issue would be moot. I would place my faith and love in Jesus and go about my merry way as the world crumbled around us. However, I have many a friend and family member who are not even on the same page as me on putting faith in Jesus. And for them, my stomach churns over and over with anxiety about losing them or trying to get them to see things differently. I pray daily about how to sit quietly and patiently, waiting for God to show me how I might be used for his will to touch their hearts and pull them under his wing. I suppose that is my test of faith to let God reveal the path to my loved ones, because there is nothing I can "say" to make them believe. It is something they must come to on their own.
Does anyone else have similar fears?

This article froze me in my tracks. A call for civil disobedience??

I am learning something about Satan's schemes lately as I read the things people write on blogs and bulletin boards. I believe, it also is a sign of things to come. It would seem that where ever you find scorn, ridicule, slander or misinformation being thrown at a person or belief, look closer because it is in that person or belief you will find the truth. It has become great sport these days to deride and mock Christians.
1 Corinthians 20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
Thanks for the links and comments everyone.
To Anonymous #2, that is something I struggle with every day, but I will continue to be talking about such things in the hopes that one day soon they'll be led by the Holy Spirit to engage in a discussion about them with me as well.
Personally, it's helped me to recall how I was at first with all of this prophecy stuff. Even though I was a Christian and I believed God's Word, when I first saw how accurate and specific His prophecies were, and then saw how real world events were all lining up to help fulfill them, it was an eerie and frigtening realization at first, and that's mainly because I was still relatively new (and weak) in my faith.
So, I view family and friends in that light and just rely on prayer and God's will and perfect timing to work out the details. Yes, it's very sad to think of those we love who will not see the truth in time, but all we can do is what we're already doing.
Keep the faith, and remain obedient to the Lord in all that you do especially in the pursuit of sharing the Gospel and the truth of His Word as it relates to end times prophecy.
Saved By Grace Through Faith,
Jeff (JRed)
Thank you, JRed, for your words about how to deal with unsaved family and friends. Just like the first Anonymous, who posted about the concern and churning, watching as loved ones continue in unbelief, my stomach also churns watching, and feeling helpless. So your encouraging words, JRed, are correct, in my opinion. Prayer and faith in GOD to bring about HIS will. Thank you. GOD bless.
God is so incredibly amazing. I sought out an answer and I simply started reading from the Bible and this was what I came to after about 10 minutes of reading. It applies to my worries of my family's salvation.
1 Corinthians 7
12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
Thanks, Jeff --
Your work makes my job of "assigning homework" a whole lot easier.
Hope to see you soon.
Cheers!
