The big news coming out of Washington today is the Senate vote which moves the health care bill forward for full committee to discuss after Thanksgiving. But while America is racing quickly to socialize our health care, other areas of the world are also busy.
Earlier this month, Czechoslovakia signed the Lisbon Treaty making the European Union THE world's superpower. This weekend, Belgium Prime Minister Herman van Rompuy was appointed president of the European Union. Again, he was appointed. He was not elected by any citizen of the 27 member states which currently are members of the EU. He was chosen unanimously by a council of other EU leaders, not by popular vote, and will take office January 1, 2010.

11/19/2009: New EU President Confirms 'New World Order' Desire
Now, let's consider the seriousness of this latest development as it relates to Bible prophecy.
Herman Van Rompuy has wasted no time in revealing the magnitude of his aspirations. At his first press conference, he announced that he wanted the EU to return to "the economic and social agenda" of years past. He hailed 2009 as "the first year of global governance", and went on to describe the upcoming Copenhagen Climate Summit as "another step towards the global management of our planet". So much ambition -- and the man hasn’t even taken office yet!
As plain as it comes, the newly 'elected' EU President confirms the desire for a New World Order -- a One World Government -- of worldwide oppression and the spread of worldwide Communism. If it didn't hit you what the EU project is all about before this development, the EU's new leader confirms it for you in the above clip.
Will 2009 be remembered as the year the 'New World Order' (i.e. the prophesied 'One World Government') was born? Either way, how can any skeptic look us in the face and tell us that the Biblical concept of a prophesied One World Government is hogwash?
Let's be honest, because this Bilderberg selected EU front man is putting it right in our face. Today the EU, tomorrow the world.

We must stand firm against any new legislation that is anti-constitution.
We must say no to any new laws that give more power to the New World order. They can pass any new laws they want but we must begin to say we do not recognize them as authorized agents. Say no to anything new that is not consitutional.
and when the next false flag begins, quickly re-elect local govenrmnet leaders and police that represent the constitution. Declare a new government if necessary and make alligiences with other states and counties that uphold the constitution. The Fed is illegitimate as long as they follow the plan for a global dictatorial empire
Great article and video. I didn't see you mention any news of David Miliband. I wrote a bit about him in my "EU President" news post. I'd love to see what you can dig up on that guy, besides the whole "I don't believe in God" and "my father was a Marxist supporter in the Red Army."
It's frightening, but also very exciting to see it all coming together so quickly.
