This reminds me of the 'image of the beast' mentioned in the Book of Revelation:
Revelation 13:14 (KJV) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Creepy Singing Android Heads
These three animatronic heads are part of an art piece being sold at Art Basel Miami Beach 2009 for $75,000. The heads are connected to servos behind the mold of the artist's face that are controlled by a computer. The movements and sound are on a 15 minute loop and both sing together and uncomfortably look around the room individually.
Yes, very creepy, but for some reason last year's look at 'Emily' has stayed with me all this time as being the creepiest just due to what you can do with that technology and 'historical' video. Talk about deception!

Do you see a connection between the movie with Bruce Willis (he's cop who controls his robot--I can't remember the name of the movie, but the robots looked very real) and Avatar. Man with his mind controls an AI as if this were an evolution to a higher plane for humanity. SPOILER ALLERT FOR AVATAR: The marine 'transfers' his consciousness permanently to his avatar. Sounds like a god thing to me. Are we being 'conditioned' to accept this higher place of 'being'? (and also that perhaps humanity is so pathetic that we should upgrade by transfering our consciousness to something literally alien like the Na'vi in the movie? )Not to mention that Avatar came out on Dec 18 (18 is the multiple of 3 6s). Also, from webster.com Etymology: Sanskrit avatāraḥ descent, from avatarati he descends, from ava- away + tarati he crosses over. CERN has a hindu god statue outside their building. We are on the precipice!

ps: my thought on deception is that it is at every level. If the devil can't fool one with science because its too hard to understand he will use lessor things: religion, paganism, traditions of man, our personal sins/desires...
