It's just that everywhere I turn lately I see clear evidence that The-Powers-That-Be loyal to Satan are attempting to shepherd us toward dissent and unrest so that they can fulfill their 'order out of chaos' plan.
This is nothing new. We've documented as much several times over the past few days. It's not even surprising since we know what to expect from the prophecies in the Bible. For me, it's just an intense mix of frustration and sadness because I know there will still be millions of people in this country who don't see these things happening (or who won't listen).
Today, I want to point out yet another glaring example of a spiritually engineered 'controversy' that threatens to thrust us into a form a religious persecution this nation has only read about in reports from the mission fields in other parts of the world.
Lord, please help me to write a fair and balanced commentary that speaks to the two distinct groups who are complicit in all of this even though they stand on opposing sides of the issue -- the Conservative Right and Liberal Left, Republicans and Democrats, Christians and Non-Christians.
First and foremost, the previous statement is not to imply that one political party somehow has 'property rights' to an entire religious faith. Christianity is not a political party, and it certainly shouldn't be a political movement either even though it can (and should) positively affect the political and social arenas. That's a good thing, but I digress.
It's always something, isn't it? I'd swear that if there wasn't any 'exciting' or 'sexy' news to report, that the mainstream media would just make something up. You know, like manufacture a mini- 'political controversy' in the hopes that it would eventually burgeon into a major one, or maybe just to take some of the attention and focus away from the on-going national Health Care debate.
No matter. Either way, it's becoming tiresome watching this dog-and-pony-show disguised as 'serious political and social debate' I think. When will we ever move away from the earthly, secular passions and spend more time talking about the eternal, spiritual ones instead?
Apparently, not anytime soon since today we seem to want to occupy ourselves with more deception, or what's pitched to us political, religious, and social bias disguised as a bumper sticker.
Many believers in America have a tough time imagining a time in the near future when Christians will be targeted and persecuted viciously for their faith. That, to me anyway, is very strange because we're already seeing the storm clouds forming on the horizon. In fact, after what I just read today, I think those storm clouds may be moving into place overhead.
Have you heard about the newest anti-President Obama bumper sticker that's creating controversy? Apparently, there's a bumper sticker out there that reads: 'Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8'. In fact, the new slogan has began appearing not only on bumper stickers, but also on t-shirts, and even on teddy bears.
So, what does Psalm 109:8 say? Let's have a look:
Psalm 109:8 (KJV) Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
No big deal, right? I mean, it's definitely not the first time that people have expressed their frustration with the government or a specific politician by displaying their feelings of angst on a bumper sticker. Actually, I've seen several other anti-Obama bumper stickers that I've felt were much more creative and appropriate.
Have a look:

Incredibly, those who stand in willful opposition to our Heavenly Father are seeing this as an opportunity to take pot shots at us Christians. The Left is shouting to anyone who will listen that we Christians are 'unstable' and truly 'dangerous'. Why? Because of what they read in the next verse -- verse 9 -- of the same chapter:
Psalm 109:9 (KJV) Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
Now, they are attempting to characterize all Christians (at least those in the U.S.) as being 'anti-government revolutionaries bent on committing acts of violence' particularly against the President himself.
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Discusses Christian Hatred Towards Obama
Let's start with the obvious.
Should I be shouting praises of 'Hallelujah!' here? Has the Liberal Left found Jesus, been born again, and discovered a new found appreciation for God's Word? I only ask because, surprisingly, they seem to have become sticklers for upholding the understanding of the Scriptures both in context and interpretation. Plus, this has got to be the first time that they're actually reading more than one verse from the Bible at a time.
Of course, that's not the case. No, this is just a case of political expediency and that's it. I just hope that everyone -- those on the Left and the Right (I'll get to them later) as well as Christians and non-Christians -- can see it for what it really is.
Why is it politically expedient? Well, because the slogan comes at a time of heightened concern about anti-government anger. Earlier this year, the President’s Senior Adviser, David Axelrod, said that Tea Parties could lead to something unhealthy. In September, authorities shut down a poll on Facebook asking if President Obama should be killed.
Still, that doesn’t push the Psalms citation into the realm of 'hate speech'. Chris Hansen, a Staff Attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) shares a similar view. The use of Psalm 109:8 is ambiguous as to whether its users are calling for the President to serve "only one term, or less than one term," he says. Deborah Lauter, Director of Civil Rights at the Anti-Defamation League agrees that the bumper sticker falls within acceptable political discourse. For it to be considered hate speech, it "would advocate actual violence or cite scripture that was more clear in its message."
That's just it. While I personally have some reservations over this particular use of Scripture as a form of political protest (I'll explain in a moment), I don't think there's any way you can characterize this bumper sticker and this verse as 'hate speech'. If they're successful in doing so, then we're much closer to making the Holy Bible illegal and arresting Christians for 'hate crimes' than I originally thought.
I could see if the bumper sticker read something else. It would be 'sinister' if it read 'Psalm 109:9' or 'Psalm 109:8-15', but it doesn't so this should've been a non-issue from the start and certainly not a 'controversy' as its been pitched to the masses. Like I said, it must've been a slow news day when all of this started.
Yet, because this one bumper sticker in question is overtly religious -- no, because it's overtly Christian -- that's precisely the sole reason why this is an issue (a 'controversy') being discussed today with such ferocity. I wholeheartedly believe that, and please keep that in mind as we continue with this analysis.
Bottom line, this is an entirely spiritual phenomenon underway here, and one that speaks to the lateness of the hour we find ourselves in at the moment.
Go back and read that one verse again. By itself, verse 8 seems like a pretty 'benign' and 'innocent' (perhaps even 'humorous') political statement to me given the current environment in this country. Plus, the verse included on these bumper stickers is consistent with the command for Christians to pray -- to pray for Obama. What's so bad about prayer even to secularists, and even if it's a prayer by their political opposition for the removal of their 'Dear Leader'? I mean, it's not like they believe in prayer (much less our God) so why should they care anyway, right? Therein lies more proof that this is a spiritually driven controversy whose architect is none other than Satan himself.
Certainly, prayer is the most noble Christian response to any form of earthly and spiritual tyranny (real or imagined) just as is demonstrated throughout the Holy Bible case after case. We might argue that prayer should be the first thing we think to do and the only thing we think to do when faced with issues that concern us rather than act carnally and take matters into our own hands.
Sure, there are times when God has answered the prayers of certain individuals and commanded them to act a certain way, but note the end result. Often times, those commands from God have seemed 'illogical' and 'impractical' (some might even classify them as being downright 'stupid'), but that's because His ways are not our own (the whole account of what happened at Jericho comes to mind).
I mention that to illustrate the point that the Liberal Left's/Democrat's attempts to characterize this statement as somehow being one that 'condones an act of violence against a politician (mainly the President)' is downright absurd! No, it's laughable and plainly stupid! Why? Because their charge of 'encouraging violence' is consistent with the carnally minded, and not the spiritually minded individual. That would be the natural response of someone who's ruled by their flesh perhaps, but not of someone who's ruled by the spirit much less something I'd label as being an act synonymous with the whole 'His ways are not our ways' truth.
Yes, I get that to a carnal, lost, unsaved unbeliever like those who constitute a majority of that political body, they assume that whenever an influential group has a problem with a politician there are only two ways to handle it -- with the voting booth or with violence. Again, I get that that's what they think, but they're way off target to make that assumption.
Newsflash: It wasn't a 'Christian Fundamentalist' who assassinated the most revered Democrat -- President John F. Kennedy. If they want to point an accusatory finger at someone they should look at those within their own house first:
Hillary Clinton Invokes Assassination As Justification To Remain In Race
What they fail to realize is that there's nothing 'Christian' about either response when you get right down to it! At it's most basic level, the penultimate Christian response to EVERYTHING is what? Prayer, prayer, and more prayer! And when that doesn't work, we're to wait on the Lord and pray some more.
Dare I say that 'true believers in Jesus Christ' know the difference between a 'carnal, earthly' response, and a 'Christian, eternal, spiritual' one? To my Liberal/Democrat family members, friends, and readers, please note the key difference between the two because it's central to helping put an end to this ridiculous debate.
Besides, if the Liberals/Democrats making such accusations had any integrity they would acknowledge the parts of the Bible that clearly prove that Christians are to understand that the Lord gives His people exactly the kind of leader they deserve, and that if we truly believe that God is sovereign, then we must accept the fact that EVERYTHING is within His firm grasp -- yes, even the day-to-day political debate and subsequent rise and fall of our political leaders.
Want proof? Let's see what God tells us in the Book of Daniel:
Daniel 2:21 (KJV) And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: (emphasis mine)
Christians understand that while we have a responsibility to vote our morals and principles on a regular basis, ultimately, as just mentioned, it is God who gives us exactly the type of leader ('king') we deserve, and exactly the type of leader ('king') that will help to serve His plan and His will for all of humanity.
In addition, we don't merely know this clear truth as some intellectual acceptance of a fact, but we believe it wholeheartedly because it's God's Word! At least, that's how true Christians are to live out their faith. Now, couple that with what the same holy Word tells us about prayer and you get a recipe for a the type of non-violent, but active, hands-on, effective response that is truly characteristic of Christianity I think.
It's that simple really, but who wants to take the time to see what the rest of the Bible has to say when you have all you need to know contained in one or two verses? It's just appalling and maddening to me.
Even a closer look reveals the sheer absurdity involved in all of this. Again, we are commanded to pray for those who fail to see the truth of God's Word. President Barack Obama -- a fervent supporter of abortion and homosexuality -- qualifies as someone who is out-of-step with God's Word because he doesn't believe what God has to say on those subjects. That's not being 'judgmental' let alone 'instigating violence'; that's just a fact.
As a result, his clearly stated positions and domestic and international policies on both issues are not consistent with what God has to say about them and the side we're supposed to be on. Plain and simple. So, he also qualifies as someone we should be praying for, right? Somehow that's a complicated line of thinking to some. What a shame.
Leave it to the Liberal mainstream media as well as the Liberal Left/Democrats to make a mountain out of a mole hill because it suits their political agenda. Worse, the fact that they deal in double standards whenever it benefits them is absolutely egregious.
Case in point, how often have we heard and seen the Left over the years chastise us for our 'stance on the issues' by watching them cherrypick verses from the Bible to try and make their case? All we have to do is look at our President for ample evidence:
Barack Obama Vs. Jesus Christ
Barack Obama's Version Of Christianity
Obama Mocks And Makes Fun Of The Bible - Is That Christian Behavior?
As always, 'morally reprehensible behavior' is perfectly acceptable when it's your own people who are doing it. Yet, when it's your opponent you must pounce and attack every chance you get.
But even worse than the President are those Liberal Democrats who call themselves Christians. The 'Liberal Christian' is truly a paradox. Let's be honest, I often wonder why they even bother with Christianity when they have to toss out so many beliefs to make themselves feel good about their current positions on the issues. I'm sorry, but it's just my opinion on the matter. I pray for them too.
It reminds me of a famous quote from Nancy Pelosi on Earth Day in 2008: "The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, 'To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.'" So, Liberals just make up Bible quotes to fit whatever they want to argue for.
I can hear them now! Just like IMAO once quipped when the website offered these Liberal inspired alternatives to the unshakable Word of God:
"And God said to Adam and Eve, 'Be fruitful and multiply... but if you don't feel like having another child and get pregnant, do what you need to. I won't judge.'"
"And God said to Abraham, 'I shall destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, for they are wicked and don't allow gay marriage.'"
"And Jesus said, 'Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, because he's the government and he knows how to spend your money better. Seriously, give your money to him and not to me or my followers; religious charities are no match for the benevolence of the government.' Jesus then mocked everyone who believed in Him for being stupid and closed-minded."
Not to beat a dead donkey, but that blog went on to summarize the Liberal Christian quite nicely:
At times, Jesus can be a real right-wing Christian -- especially about sex -- and liberals hate that. Isn't it a lot easier to just not believe in the guy than to find some way to twist around His words so that you can imagine Him saying, "Abortion is awesome!"? With the amount of scripture you have to ignore to say that fornication and homosexuality is hunky-dory, it makes me wonder why those people even bother with the Bible? And do liberal Christians have some apocryphal story where Jesus mugs a bunch of people and then gives their money to the poor, because that would go a long way towards explaining liberals confusions of taxation and charity. The most ridiculous part about all of this? Even if the Liberal Left/Democrats were correct in assuming that Christians want to promote violence against the President, then they do so by ignoring a wealth of Biblical evidence to the contrary.
The Bible is crystal clear on 'murder' -- it's expressly forbidden. Later, when the Bible speaks of 'revenge' or 'vengeance', it ALWAYS says that such a response belongs to God and God alone. No Christian has any authority to take matters into their own hands like that so if any so-called 'Christian' is espousing such a belief (a belief that it's 'ok' and Biblically mandated to be able to commit an act of violence against anyone let alone a politican like the President) I got news for them -- they're not a genuine Christian, but one in name only. The Liberal Left would know that if they simply practiced what they preached and reported on the complete story citing the facts.
I'm sorry if that truth hurts, but go back and read your Bible -- all of it -- and not just the parts that you want to read that suit your position. So, the argument by the Liberal Left/Democrats completely falls apart on that point although I'm fairly certain that once they realize their current strategy won't work they'll just abandon it and try something new like suggesting that there are those 'Christians' akin to other prominent figures from the most famous Bible stories who 'heard God's voice clearly tell them to do such a thing', which then means we've officially arrived at the end times persecution of the saints.
You know, I'm no bleeding heart Liberal, but I have one other problem here. This is the part where I share the problems I have with Conservatives/The Right/Republicans/Christians displaying this bumper sticker. As mentioned, we don't want to engage in the same behavior that we criticize the Left/Democrats for (cherry-picking verses to suit our own political needs).
What conclusions can we draw at this point? What should we walk away with after reading this column? First and foremost, we need to constantly remind ourselves that this is a spiritual war unfolding all around us. None of this should surprise or frighten us one bit. This is just another incident that will contribute to what's coming. Fortunately, we're blessed to know how it all ends. All we can do is share these truths with others and try to help them see these things taking shape.
Specifically, we need to 'man-up' as some buddies of mine would say. In other words, we need to do a better job of reading and understanding God's Word -- in context. As one columnist succinctly stated, "Even Satan can quote the Bible, out of context of course, in order to try to make it support his point of view."
Boy, that's the truth indeed. Look, I wanted to be firm but fair here to both sides of the issue because I think that Christianity has been used for far too long by both political parties whenever it suits their needs.
Worse, Christians have allowed this to continue to the point where we've been dumbed down into viewing our Holy Bible as nothing but a collection of verse-by-verse sound bytes that we can access every now and then to suit our own needs as well. I guess that's what happens when politics influences religion rather than the other way around.
I also wanted to tread lightly because I know that I too have been guilty of cherry-picking verses from time-to-time. May this serve as a wake-up call to me as well as the rest of us to take God's Word more seriously and to prayerfully consider how we share His treasure with those in this world who would rather destroy every trace of its existence.
The irony of this entire debate? If only those content with leveling accusations and charges at the Body of Christ would've sat down and read the entire Psalm for themselves they'd see that this is a Psalm that actually serves as a WARNING TO THOSE WHO WOULD ATTACK TRUE BLUE CHRISTIANS in that it catalogs the curses of God that will fall upon those who casually and liberally poke fun at, and persecute the people of God. This stuff is pretty serious. Take a look:
Psalm 109 - God's Curses
Yep, the storm clouds are over our heads at the moment. It's only a matter of time before the violent storm rains down on us all like a flood. The persecution of Christians in this nation for our cherished beliefs is only going to get worse, and it's things like this that will foment hate and resentment towards us on not only a national, but global scale.
Sadly, this is also another case of the Liberal Left/Democrats taking our cherished holy Word of God out of context, and that makes them seriously out of line in my book.
Make no mistake, however, that the Conservative Right/Republicans are way out of line too. You can't constantly attack your opponents for cherry-picking God's Word and taking verses out of context to suit their own need, and then turn around and engage in the same offensive behavior. It doesn't get to work that way I'm afraid.
Initially, all this debate is going to do is encourage the same irresponsible behavior of cherry-picking only the verses that suit your argument without seeing how they fit in context.
Notice I wrote that 'initially' this will be the case. That's because I know that in God's great providence there will be some people who will open a Bible for the very first time in years (if not for the first time in their whole lives!) and He will draw some of them to keep reading beyond a verse here-and-there, and that's an amazing thing! So, praise the Lord for that!
Even so, in the end, and in the 'big picture' Biblical worldview, this case of a 'controversial new bumper sticker' only serves to bump us closer to the coming persecution of Christians -- just as the Bible's
Stay grounded in His Word -- all of it in its entirety!

I just read this morning about the suspect for killing those 4 police officers in the coffee shop was reported as saying that Obama is his brother Oprah was his sister and that he was Jesus Christ. As soon as I read that the hairs went up on the back of my neck.

Documents related to those charges indicate a volatile personality. In one instance, he is accused of gathering his wife and young relatives and forcing them to undress.
"The whole time Clemmons kept saying things like trust him, the world is going to end soon, and that he was Jesus," a Pierce County sheriff's report said.

Persecution will come in full force soon. BTW, did anyone else freak out when they saw the last episode of "V" and how they will use our predictability against us when they poisoned our Swine Flu vaccines? :-0
You have to wonder where is the discernment of these Christians. I am sure many of us have experienced Christians using scripture to condemn others and build themselves up . I recently had an encounter where I was publicly and falsely accused. I was talking to my husband about it because I thought my accuser was a Christian who has a weekly bible study. He said he learned long ago that things like that don't always matter: if the person is a backbiter and a gossip, they use religion to be an even bigger backbiter and gossip. As Christians this has been our experience. I try to be very careful that I don't use scripture to justify myself while I condemn others. I was offended when I saw how this scripture was being used. President Obama has children that can read. There is no doubt president Obama is our just desert. I shudder for my nation. But at the end of the day we like Jesus do not belong to this world. But in all honesty I have only read commentaries about the controversial bumper sticker. I have not seen it on any cars. I don't know any Christian who has one. I was at a Sarah palin book signing and didn't see one, and I was having fun reading all the fun and creative bumper stickers.
Dear Jeff,
I too have been listening (a little) to all the hoopla --trying to instigate 1 Christian hatred and 2 some kind of revolution.
When I was a catholic we used to sing a song and the chorus went 'and they will know we are christians by our love'. I guess one has to ask the question, "is what I am doing in love?" I spoke with an elderly man this week about Glenn Beck, the pres, the King James version of the Bible vs the NIV. After listening a while, I found this man to be no different than a lost person. He used foul language describing our pres (which makes me sick, because many of my friends have adopted bi racial children. We too have a bi racial child-but she doesnt look it), made it out to be that if I wasn't reading the KJV, that I was probably lost and that if I wasn't ready to pick up arms against our govt that I was stupid. Well....
There are all kinds/forms of suffereing that humans endure and for the Christian, the biggest one we suffer is faith. GOD has told our family to trust HIM with so many different things in the last two years, it would make most heads spin! Its been hard, sad, challenging. So many times I've been tempted to really persuade my husband into a different direction (and I know I have the 'power' to do that, but know that if I choose myself over the LORD I will miss HIS chastisement--which is good--and HIS blessing.)
If we as believers are not VERY careful, we will get caught up in the cares of this world. (I am not saying we shouldn't care...) Believer, let things play out as the LORD see's fit. We will each have our parts. Don't you know the LORD multitasks? While HE is disciplining you, HE is also using you according to HIS will. One of the biggest Words we have been hearing from the LORD is 'let it go'. I have a friend who has been losing it all, only to find so much gain on the other side of the loss. We too are finding this in our family. Believer, if you believe we are truly in the very last of the last days, the most effective thing you can do is come as close to Christ as you can, and LOVE others. Pray for others that they will be saved--yes that includes our pres and his family. I am so glad that while I was a sinner, lost and without the LORD, that someone prayed for me. I am glad that no one prayed that I would die during that time in my life for I would be in hell. This is judgement and who are we to judeg our neighbor! Where is the fear of the LORD? Who among us thinks they are better than the pres? Doesn't GOD say, 'judgement comes to the house of GOD first?'
Believer that Christain walk is going to get narrower, quieter, lonlier and more challenging than ever! "Come out of her my people and touch no unclean thing, and I will recieve you unto Myself". You should be recogized as a Christian because of your love, not your church affilation, not your Bible version, not if you wear a skirt or jeans and certainly not because of your political stance.
Dee
Four years ago, I watched my Dad die a horrible, painful death. He is a Christian. A few months later I had a dream that he was in heaven in a prayer room with other elder men. They were praying 'Lord have mercy'. This really sobered me up spiritually speaking, because really, all this political stuff doesnt matter. It's just another smoke screen to keep our eyes/spirits off the most importan thing-telling others of Christ and praying for their salvation. When we all stand before the Lord, it wont matter what politcal affiliation we had...
No one should listen to Frank Schaeffer. He is religious not Christian. (I agree with him on evangelical christianity--it has become altogether nausiatig, but there is a lot of crap in the Orthodox doctrines also). He also threw his parents under the bus!
An angry person is perhaps not the best person to listen to.
hey have you heard J.R.Church's prophesy in the psalms? His take on the psalms is that its the 19th book of the bible and each psalm has a prophesy for Israel for each year of the 1900's.I read psalms 109 and It sounds more like Israel being accused at the UN of war crimes this year. psalms 110 gives me more confidence that next year is going to be the year the church is take out... say maybe may 18th?? what do you think?
Jeff - Funny you should mention Psalm 109 today. That Holy Spirit is a clever and amazing guy. I just happened to be reviewing it moments ago (before I came to your site), because it is referenced by Peter in his Judas-replacement speech in Acts 1:15-21, which was part of my morning devotional today.
There have been some discussions on my blog about BHO as antichrist (or at least ac-supporter or precursor) and how that therefore makes Judas a reasonable 'type' to examine to help us think about him. And it's not as clear-cut as some might think (i.e. not as simplistic as the headline: BHO is Judas!). For though Judas was in one sense "destined" to play the damnable role he did (because God is outside of time and knows what we WILL do), he also had free will inside of time as he went along -- as we all do.
E.g., John 13 verses 2, 11 and 27 show an escalating acceptance, by Judas, of Satan's dark advances. After a certain point, of course, he passed a threshold... an event horizon, if you will. But all along the way he had the opportunity to turn back.
And that means we still ought to pray for this president -- a task which, by my human faculties alone, I find abhorrent.
Now, re. pot-shots at Christians and a set-up for persecution, try THIS...
Walking through an airport last week, my eye caught this month's (December's) Atlantic Monthly. On the cover, a giant wood cross with a real-estate sign hanging off of it (blasphemous enough), under the banner headline: "Did Christianity Cause the Crash"
Once the recession gets worse (and it will), angry, resentful people whose god (Mammon) has gone away will look for scape-goats. We're already being offered up to play that role.
JRed - Funny you should mention Psalm 109 this morning... it's amazing how the Holy Spirit works.
I was just reviewing it before I came to your site because Peter makes it the centerpiece of his "replacing Judas" speech in Acts 1:15-21. Commentary in my ESV also supports this notion, that the Holy Spirit was working through David when he wrote Psalm 109. The number of exclamation marks seems to indicate that it refers to the locus of God's wrath.
There was some discussion, on my site, back in the summer as to whether, if BHO is THE antichrist (or at least his precursor), we might not discern how to think about him by looking to Judas as a 'type'. In John 13, we see a progression that Judas, with the same free will we have, could have stopped. An invitation from satan (v2) is accepted. It turns into uncleanness (v10-11). Finally, that allows satan to fully "inhabit" Judas (v27), after which his damnable actions run their course.
In other words Judas and (for now) BHO have free will. Thus we must pray for the president even though I find that, under my own human power, it is abhorrent.
Re. Christians being set up for persecution, take a look at this month's (December's) Atlantic Monthly cover. I nearly choked when I saw it, walking through an airport recently. Under the banner headline "Did Christianity Cause the Crash", a real estate sign hangs from big wood cross. Not only is the image blasphemous, but whatever the contents of the article, the headline seems to be the perfect kind of set-up for scapegoating by people angry that their 'god' Mammon has been shown to be a fraud. When the recession gets worse (and it will) this meme will no-doubt re-surface with serious consequences.
(The contents of the article are almost beside the point, as most people never get that far. They use the usual MSM trick of taking the improper, non-Biblical teaching of a few who use the name of Christ to tar and feather the rest of us.)

this was a great posting!!! and more in tune with the things we as CHRISTIANS, should be relating to the the unlearned christians out there!
satan will use every trick in his power to drag people back into his influance, and scripture is his favorite tool to cause people to stumble.
he tried it on JESUS CHRIST himself, and this was to be an example of what we should be looking for in these end times.
as for david axelrod he is a zionist jew with a very big political agenda, and it has nothing to do with serving GOD!
also the aclu and the adl are zionist jew front organizations bent on the same agenda, and that agenda is to discredit and remove JESUS CHRIST from human existance.
you don't have to take my word for it, JESUS says it best!!!!!!! all over the new testiment. such as acts 4:12 and john10:9 and there are many many more, that planely teach that the jews who do not except CHRIST and who denai his existance are the seed of satan and have nothing to do with GOD!!!
CHRISTIANS are GODS CHOSEN PEOPLE! and CHRISTIANS are the ISREAL of the new testiment.stop bowing to the ungodly jews who whorship themselves just like lucifer does!
that was the same mistake esau made when he gave up his birth right for a bowl of soup, and whom GOD hated. keep on studying and I am praying for you all.
may GOD wipe the smoke from our eyes that we may see with clear vison, and protect us all in these end times!!!!!!!

This is unrelated but I wanted to alert your readers to a new Jewish connection: According to the 18th-century rabbinic authority the Vilna Gaon, March 16, 2010 is a date to watch.
During the 18th century, the Vilna Gaon, a respected rabbinical authority, prophesied that the Hurva Synagoge in Jerusalem, which was built during his day, would be destroyed and rebuilt twice, and that when the Hurva was completed for the third time, construction on the Third Temple would begin.
The reconstructed Hurva Synagogue, considered the most important house of prayer in Jerusalem will be rededicated on that date. It was last destroyed in the War of Independence.
Just something to watch...

Art, concerning your comment about Judas, I thought you, and others here, might find the following post interesting. It cites scripture for why the anti-Christ "might" just be a reincarnated Judas.
Judas reincarnated as the AntiChrist?
Hi Jred,
Several of your posters said it makes no differance what political party you support. Is God indifferent to babies being aborted, or homosexuality being taught to school children? Neither party is our redeemer but one party is doing a better job at pushing satan's agenda on America. It is very sad that you find Christians who support an ungodly agenda and can't even discern the difference between right and wrong. You should never vote for a democrat and very seldom vote for a republican.
When GOD told Noah to build the ark, did HE also instruct him to deal with the political, financial and sin issues of his day? He was told to prepare. The time for fighting against abortion was before it was made into a law!!!!
When Roe v Wade was passed, we hit the bottom of the barrel. No, GOD is not indifferent to abortion or the lack of parents who are willing to adopt bi racial children. This nation is under judgement and for sure 50-60 million unborn babies murders should be enough topped with homosexuality, pagan worship and witchcraft within so called Christian families and churches, sex trafficking, porn, gambling and corruption in EVERY part of govt, politics, medicine, business and on and on. It does not matter what political party you adhere to because they are all corupt! Maybe there are a couple folks fighting in the political arena worth voting for, but you and I know they will never get a chance to get in the big ring. I like Chuck Baldwin, but his mantra is too late in the game. We are not going to win with some revolutionary war. Does anyone else feel absolutely sick to their stomachs after the things that are going on in this world?
Is your heart heavy like Lots was in his day? If you believe we are in the last of the last days, the only fight left is to 'fight the good fight of FAITH'!! People need to know JESUS now! Time is running out! This country has tv radio, computer access. People have heard of JESUS yet they refuse to believe on HIM, trust and obey HIM. We cannot go back for anything. Just like the Word says that in the last days, peoples hearts would wax cold. The point that folks on this forum are trying to make is that the battles are not going to be won through politics or war (maybe not even preaching anymore), but through the LORD, HIS HOLY SPIRIT speaking to people. Down on our knees, I say!
