Satan Attempts To Divide And Conquer

By now, many of us are familiar with the web of deception that seeks to entangle Christians whether it is via such earthly pursuits as politics or such spiritual ones as within the hallowed walls of a church.

I guess it should come as no surprise then to find out that Satan has attempted to sow discord and dissent within the Body of Christ on the Internet too.

Hence, cyberspace -- yes, even in well-meaning Christian forums like this one -- is not immune to becoming a Web of deception if Satan has his way. Heck, just take a look at any Comments Section or Message Board to discover that ugly truth.

For example, I received a disturbing email today via Facebook. Here it is below in its entirety.

We Were Not The Source of This Article! And My Husband Has Never Even Read It!
from Nicole Payne Hadley

Hello Jeffrey,

I hope I got the write address to write? This is Nicole Hadley, Pastor Steve Hadley's wife from Harvest Family Fellowship in Reno. We have been trying to figure out why on earth, we have been sent the article, 'Why the Non Event of Rosh Hoshannah had to happen...' Or some such title, by many people who have seen it on websites, as an 'article by Steve Hadley!' And then? Some even site our website, as it's 'achknowledgement' or source! Would you be able to please remove our name and church as any 'source' of this article? My husband, Steve, has never even READ this article! And? Is not in agreement with some of it.

Some time, many, many months ago, in response to someone emailing us, asking if we had, or had 'heard' of any info regarding Rosh Hoshannah and the rapture. I simply forwarded that article, (as someone had recently sent it to us at that time) on to the person in response to anything we'd recieved on the subject. Purely for their interests sake- and NOT in ANY way- connected to Steve, OR our church! Steve had never even read it, and would not agree with some of it. Thus, that article was not written by Steve, nor endorsed by Steve, nor ever read by Steve! I never dreamed in a million years, someone would take that article, and send it on, or others pick it up, linked to Steve or our church in any way. That article, was not written by Steve- and we are NOT, NOT, NOT the 'source' of that article. It was simply an email I myself, personally forwarded to someone in response to their request of anything we'd recieved...

As there are a lot of websites that have actually posted that article falsely, as being written by Steve, or being connected to our church- and it was NOT, could you please remove anything to do with our name, or church in any connection to that article, or as it's 'source?' That causes people to think we agree with it, and many to believe Steve wrote it! No doubt the person who wrote it, would not be happy. To post the article is one thing- it just is NOT connected to us, our church, Steve, or his beliefs, in ANY way. I alone, passed it along to someone who asked if we had recieved any other info... That is ALL. Thank you so much Jeffrey. Again, if you like the article, absolutely share or post it- but it had NOTHING to do with us or our church, or Steve's views. May the Lord greatly bless your week! Nicole and Steve :)

My Response:

Mrs. Nicole Hadley,

Please note that I have received you email. More importantly, I apologize for the error and will gladly remove your name, your husband's name, and your church name from the article wherever it appears.

Of course, many of us are familiar with the web of deception that seeks to entangle Christians whether it is via such earthly pursuits as politics or such spiritual ones as within the hallowed walls of a church.

Hence, cyberspace -- yes, even in well-meaning Christian forums like my own -- is not immune to becoming a Web of deception if Satan has his way.
As you suspected, that 'source' that was attributed to you was sent to me as an email forward from a trusted brother in Christ who, in turn, had it forwarded to him. Regardless, the proper actions will be taken immediately. Although it was an honest mistake, please accept my since apologies for the error.

I do not take my Lord, His Word, His servants, His ministries, or His role for me here lightly by any stretch of the imagination. I will make the changes immediately.
You might also want to contact the Webmaster for the Grow And Know website as his was where I first learned about that email you sent out (http://growandknow.blogspot.com/2008/12/he-is-coming-in-short-time-will-not.html).

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. My apologies once more.

God Bless,

Jeffrey K. Radt

The article in question, which mentions the Hadleys and their church as being the 'source', was the foundation for writing a commentary on the Rapture -- get this! -- almost a year ago to the day called "They All Slumbered And Slept".

The piece was first published on December 10, 2008 (again, not exactly one year ago since 'a full year' would be 2 days from today obviously). Being as spiritually-minded as I am, I can't help but consider our Heavenly Father's providence in bringing that column to the forefront at this precise moment in history.

I mean, with everything else that's going on in the world that's prophetically relevant I have to wonder if there's a divine purpose behind all of this even if Satan intended to use such a discovery to sow discord and discredit and tarnish some within the Body of Christ.

Either way, please note my since apologies for the error even if it was an honest mistake. Like I wrote to Mrs. Hadley, I do not take my Lord, His Word, His servants, His ministries, and His role for me here lightly by any stretch of the imagination so I have already removed mention of the Hadleys and their ministry from that entry.

Also, I'm praying that this column today will not invite another fierce Rapture debate let alone cause other Brothers and Sisters in Christ to see this as an opportunity to rebuke and pile on your humble blogger for writing what I wrote a year ago.

That's in no way meant to suggest I'm above reproof -- God help me if I ever become that type of person! -- but simply meant to communicate how I wanted to publicly cite this occurrence with the Hadleys as opposed to write an article regarding my beliefs on the Rapture and its possible timing once more.

If nothing else, I pray that those who take the time to re-read that December 2008 piece referenced above will come away with a renewed sense of excitement and urgency for God's Word. When I went back to re-read it myself I was inspired by the level of passion I exhibited. Just do your own little experiment at home and count up all the exclamation points I used for proof. HA!

You wouldn't have known this, but that is EXACTLY what I needed most today and the good Lord answered my prayers and provided! So, what Satan intended for evil, the Lord used for good (perhaps in more ways than we currently know).

Of course, we already knew that though:

Romans 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

'WCC calls churches worldwide to ring bells 350 times during ClimateMeeting "

-WCC: occult part of idem UN;
-350: 3+5+0=8, after the 7 Biblical feasts thenext;
-the 13th: Rebellion ;
-15.00h : '..and He died around the 9th hour ' = 15.00

so, the message here is:

"WCC calls christians worldwide to celebrate their own death, and SO support the start of the era of Rebellion"...

I watch Pastor Steve Hadley's sermons every week and I think he does an incredible job. If someone is trying to smear him, it can only mean he is being enormously effective and that's a good thing!

By the way, I've also noticed that between the pre-trib and post-trib groups, it's only the post tribbers I see attacking the body of Christ for their pre-trib rapture doctrine. I have my own theory about this that I haven't yet carefully refined enough to post, but probably wouldn't post it anyway, lest I become like the post-tribbers. Suffice it to say, it calls into question their faith for "the way" they oppose pre-tribbers, and not simply because they have a post-trib rapture position.

hello brother christians.

in contemplating the rift in the christian assembly I stumbled on a reality that may help alleviate some of the problem.
the reason it is so important that you understand the didactic truth of GODS WORD and CHRISTS teaching, is the powers that be the ones betrothed to lucifer. are not trying in any way to take away your FAITH.
what they are trying to do is re direct it to another christ a false christ!
and there are many false versions out there.

you see if they take away your faith you would likely UPRISE in an instant, and that is the last thing they want to deal with. I know there is a small portion of them that just want to use military style force, but that would get very messy. what the real luciferians want is, a voluntary transition to exceptance of another christ.

you see lucifer being wise and the most subtule of beings, is useing the mianstream christian churches and organizations to slowly indoctranate you into the belief and teachings of this other christ!!!
remember (anti-christ) litteraly means other than, mirror image or reflection of CHRIST!

so now that they have a very large population of people or confessing christians, indoctrinated into this falce christ through there corporate government controlled churches.
they will soon attempt to merge all religions into one under this false doctrin and false christ.

this is why it is so very important that you understand the TRUE teachings of GOD and his son JESUS CHRIST!!!

and this is why I personaly will rebuke any and all false teaching!!! I am not perfect and I do not confess to no all things. also I am not closed minded I am willing to listen to all sides but I will only agree with JESUS'S side!!!
and the only place to find that is in the king james bible accompanied by a strongs concordance.
you will never find the DIDACTICT TRUTH in a church, there are way to many varriables that come into play! and a church has never saved anyone JESUS CHRIST is the only way so do yourself a favor,
do the work yourself.
pick up the books and start studying ,while at the same time praying for truth and decernment of GODS WORD!!!!!!!

GOD show them the errors of the false teaching being spewn out of corporate christianity!!! amem

Hello Jeffrey :)

Nicole Hadley here. I was surprised to see this posted when I was Googling, as someone suggested, to see what the new facebook privacy changes may have affected as to what would come up! Hello again.

I just want to share that we don't believe someone was purposefully trying to smear Steve, in the re-postings of that article citing Steve or our church mistakenly, as its author or source. Many people we know, like the article. The main concern, was that the actual author of the article would think we were trying to take credit for their work. We would be mortified for anyone to think such a thing. So that is really the main concern.

We began getting emails regarding that article from people who had read that Steve wrote it, which is how we learned he was being mistakenly cited as its author. It now seems that what happened, is that when I forwarded that article on to others interested in its info, they apparently shared that it was I who 'forwarded' it. That caused someone to mistakenly take that to somehow mean, 'Steve, wrote' it. Even though he's never even read it.

So although unfortunate in the eventual false attribution to Steve or our church as its source, we believe there was no ill intention. And the friends I forwarded it to, are very honest and trustworthy. But it does show, indeed, how easily people can receive as truth, things that are not, if sources are not followed up on carefully. Especially via the internet. A good reminder for us all, no doubt.

May the Lord greatly bless your week! And Merry Christmas, :)

Nicole Hadley
