What We're Praying/Talking About

Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

Talking Turkey

We just got down looking at Turkey moving towards fulfilling her role in end times Bible prophecy specifically as it relates to the coming Gog-Magog War.

As eye-opening as that piece was in revealing to us how close we are to seeing the fulfillment of that ancient and infamous prophecy today's news is even more revealing.

The headline and an excerpt:

Analyst Warns EU Against Admitting Turkey
Increasing Islamic Influence Could Spread Jihad

Turkey's increasingly militant Islamic influence should prompt the European Union to reject its efforts to join the organization out of hand, according to Jonathan Racho, an analyst with International Christian Concern.

He says, bluntly, admitting Turkey would present a danger to other EU nations, because the jihad move there then could transfer freely to other nations.

"There's been an increasing Islamization of Europe through immigration of Muslims from Muslim nations. If Turkey joins, then the EU rules would allow the free movement of Turkey's Islamists throughout Europe," Racho said. "This possibility is a clear reason for Europe to deny Turkey's admission into the EU."

The reason for European concern about the increasingly militant Islamic influence in Turkey comes from the looser immigration rules of the EU.

"If Turkey joins the European Union, the looser immigration rules would mean freer movement of Turks into Europe. This means that the militant Islamists in Turkey could also move around more freely and assist radical Muslims all over the continent," Racho explained.

Concern over Turkey's EU status comes from a recent Turkish opinion poll that says more than half of the people oppose any non-Muslim religious activity.

Another 'star' involved and the color red -- just like the Red Horse, or the 2nd of the Four Horsemen.

There's so much more there in that column, but that should suffice for our purposes. Basically, it supports the conclusions we made in the last piece on Turkey from only a few days ago.

Incredibly, today's news story also hints at what Chuck Missler suggested was a strong possibility in one of his recent presentations as he explained why we need to watch Turkey and what we need to watch for while doing so.

If flat out rejected by the European Union, Turkey will undoubtedly decide to join forces with the Arab-Islamic nations and will finally solidify their destiny, and that would make the Gog-Magog War imminent at that point.

At this point, the EU rejecting Turkey as a potential member state seems likely and like something that will happen sooner rather than later.
