NOTE: I've decided to add this introductory note at the request of one "Chase Hunter" who manages the insightful blog 333 Crucible: The Divine Imperative. The author was unhappy with the fact that I did not provide a link to their website despite crediting them and their site as the source for this entry. The author was also unhappy with what they perceived as my blatant attempt at "slandering" them by expressing my opinion. I was even threatened with legal action if you can believe that. Due to the fact that I was away from my office/computer until now, the author assumed that I was trying to ignore them and the issue. They proceeded to write a "Note" of their own to their readers. You can read that person's comments in full as well as my reply by scrolling down to the Comments Section of this column. My sincere apologies to "Chase Hunter" for any offense that was taken. May you find it in your heart to forgive me. God bless you.
I've never heard of Kathleen Keating before today. Something tells me that we should put her front-and-center following the latest from Maitreya's camp.
Here's why. One website has this to say about her:

I've never heard of Kathleen Keating before today. Something tells me that we should put her front-and-center following the latest from Maitreya's camp.

As the granddaughter of a Christian minister and whose great uncle founded one of the largest church congregations in the south, I'd like an explanation. If i could ring your dorbell and sit down in your living room with you, with and attorney I sure would do it.
I will defend my writing, my research, my purpose for being on this earth at this time against all attackers, including other Christians who judge without even having the courage to email me and get to know me.

First and foremost, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for any way that I have offended you. It certainly wasn't my intention at all.
However, with all due respect, I did source you, your website, and your in-depth research as the definitive source for this column.
Whereas I decided not to include a hyperlink back to your site, it was because I was trying to be respectful of a couple of things you wrote in your "About Chase Hunter" section:

Chase, my decision to cite you as the sole source, but to not include a hyperlink back, was out of respect for this point of fact that you share about yourself.
Why? Because not only do you explicitly state that this is how you feel by the quote I pulled above, but you even go by a pen name, which clearly denotes a desire to remain somewhate anonymous, does it not?
So, again, I am truly sorry that you feel offended or slandered, but I honestly do not get that at all.

My dear sister in Christ, it was out of respect for your clearly stated positions and feelings that I didn't expose the real reasons behind my statement of caution -- all of these excerpted parts from your site.
See, the thing is that a majority of my readers ARE FUNDAMENTALIST CHRISTIANS (myself included) and, therefore, I have a responsibility to let them know about those sources, sites, and people I refer to in anything that appears here in this space who I know they might object to given certain theological positions like the ones you support.
Besides, how difficult is it for any visitors to this site to type in the name of your blog -- again, the blog that I credited as the sole source for this column -- into a Search Engine and visit on their own if they so chose? Obviously, it's quite easy. But I couldn't in my good conscience make it "easy" for them by including the hyperlink when I had some misgivings about your stated positions myself (the ones I included above). Yet, I didn't want to decide for my visitors either and not include a source citing the same reasons. That would've been wrong and disrespectful to them, and suggest that I don't believe they can think for themselves.
Chase, I tried to do this as diplomatically as possible. As you can see, I even updated this entry to include a special introductory "Note" at the very beginning where I do, in fact, provide a direct link to your site.
I would've responded much sooner, but I was out of the office all day and just now am getting to my emails. Yours are the first I'm responding to.
I pray that the Holy Spirit can help restore this relationship.

KATHLEEN KEATING
Does anyone here know whether Kathleen Keating is okay? Her websites went offline and radio shows stoppedsuddenly in 2007 without warning. There is no information available about her whereabouts online.
Is she healthy and safe? What a wonderful woman she is! Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I think of her often--her love for God and for others was evident from her radio shows.

Jeff, let Chase's comments stand as a testimony to her arrogant sense of self importance and omit all future links and references to Chase, anything she says and her site, and block her future comments from your site. She is crazy as a loon.
Pdf her comments in case she makes trouble for you and if she engages an attorney who demands you take the comments down, send me the pdf, I want to publicize what an *ss she is.
Chase, I agree with everything Jeff said, and if you don't like what I have to say, have your lawyer contact me at armageddon.thru.to.you@gmail.com. Others can play that game too. Don't think you can't be served with interrogatories and requests for documents that will take you months to comply with. I'm quite sure the voluminous amount of commentary you have generated has provided ample fodder for a legal cause of action of some sort against you as well, with no less merit, and likely more.
I think people should stay as far away from her site as humanly possible!
Wow Jeff. You managed to take my good decent reseach on Kathleen Keating, re-post it with all my links and references stripped out, I aksed to you put the links and references back in - and credit me as the author - and you had your buddy post a legally threatening comment also calling me "crazy as a loon." I don't know what to make of your site, which seems to be intent on breaking US copyight law, then slandering and attacking the authors and sources for your re-posts. When slandering me didn't work, you went after The Urantia Book on your front page. If you represent the modern day version of what a "Christian" is,along with the man who posted the ugly comment about my sanity, I can totally see why millions have turned their back on
organized religion.
