Mehmet Ali Agca: A 'Gray Wolf' In Sheep's Clothing?

This story bears watching.

There's more going on here than meets the eye as has always been the case with this individual. Of that I am entirely certain.

On Monday, the man who shot Pope John Paul II in 1981,
Mehmet Ali Agca, was released from prison more than 29 years behind bars and proclaimed that he was a messenger of God and that the world will end in this century.

In the statement distributed by his lawyer, Yilmaz Abosoglu, outside the prison in Sincan on the outskirts of Ankara, the Turkish capital, Agca declared: "I proclaim the end of the world. All the world will be destroyed in this century. Every human being will die in this century."

He ended the long, rambling text by signing off as "the Christ eternal", in keeping with past outbursts and claims that he was the Messiah. "I will meet you in the next three days," Agca said. "In the name of God, almighty, I proclaim the end of the world. All the world will be destroyed, every human being will die. I am not God, I am not son of God, I am Christ eternal." He also said the Gospel was full of mistakes and he would write the perfect one.

An interesting omission from all the stories I've seen today on this topic comes to us from one of the very first reports from
Reuters published last week on January 13, 2010:

The man who tried to kill Pope John Paul II called for a "new American Empire" championing peace and democracy in a rambling statement issued by his lawyers Wednesday before his release from prison next week.

"The world needs a new American Empire that must become the center of and the leader of international democracy, peace, and freedom," Agca wrote. The 52-year-old failed assassin also condemned terrorism, and al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in particular.

"Terrorism is the Evil of Devil. All religions prohibit and condemn terrorism. The al Qaeda is a psychopathic criminal Nazi organization," Agca wrote in an open letter issued by his lawyers.
Agca went on to name bin Laden, Adolf Hitler, jailed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrilla leader Abdullah Ocalan and Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot as "the common enemies of all religions and all nations in the world."

Wednesday's statement also called for President Barack Obama to live up to the Nobel Peace Prize, which he accepted last month.

It begs the question: Why the glaring omission? None of that -- not a single word of it -- was included in ANY of the news reports published today (the very day he was actually released from prison) that I could find. Interesting, huh? The full text of Agca's letter presented by his lawyer to the world 1 week before his release can be read
HERE.

Many will laugh at this man's comments especially his pronouncements of the end of the world even though many of us already believe we're living in the end times and that the Tribulation is very close. I'm not about to call him some kind of a prophet or anything, but this isn't the first time he made some eyebrow raising comments, or even a prediction that turned out to be right. More on that in a moment.

First, a quick review on this man and his life to this point. Simply put, he's always been surrounded by a shroud of mystery.

Agca was released today after completing his sentence for killing Journalist Abdi Ipekci in 1979. He had received a life sentence, which amounts to 36 years under Turkish law, for murdering Ipekci, but he escaped from a Turkish prison less than 6 months into the sentence and went on to shoot the Pope in Rome 2 years later.

There have been allegations that there's no way he could've escaped from that first prison sentence unless he had help, which led the authorities from Poland to insinuate that the KGB helped him escape and that they were the ones urging him to shoot the Polish born Pope John Paul II. Of course, that has never been proven although there is some evidence to suggest collusion on some level. However, I don't want to get too sidetracked here.

Agca reportedly sympathized with the "Gray Wolves", a far right-wing militant group that fought street battles against leftists in the 1970s. He initially confessed to killing Ipekci, one of the country's most prominent left-wing newspaper Columnists, but later retracted his statements adding intrigue to his persona and case.

After his extradition on June 14, 2000, Agca was separately sentenced to 7 years and 4 months for two robberies in Turkey in 1979. But authorities deducted his prison sentence in Italy and several amnesties and amendment of the penal code reduced his term further. The Pope played a key role in getting him pardoned at the time.

In one of the most famous moments of his papacy, John Paul personally pardoned Agca 2.5 years after the attack, sitting face-to-face, and almost touching knees with his attacker during a 21-minute private meeting in a prison cell in Rome. John Paul called his prison visit "a historic day in my life as a man, a Christian, as a bishop and bishop of Rome", and he added that Agca had expressed repentance for the attack. "The Lord gave us the grace to be able to meet each other as men and as brothers", the Pope said. Reporters were barred, but a Vatican film showed that Agca bent and kissed the Pope's ring at the start of the meeting and shook his hand after they sat down. The Pope also had pardoned Agca from his hospital bed 5 days after the shooting.

In a March 2006 interview with the Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica, Agca made contradictory remarks about his attempt on John Paul's life. He initially said Vatican prelates helped him carry out the shooting, adding: "The devil is within the Vatican." How remarkably consistent that is with what Father Malachi Martin tried to warn the world about before his untimely death. Yet, he then reportedly said in the same interview that "nobody in the world knew of my attempt."

When asked by Turkish police earlier this year where he obtained the gun he used in his assassination attempt, Agca said: "These are minor details. It was written in my destiny 1,000 years ago. I fulfilled a mission that was written 1,000 years ago. I would shoot the Pope even if he was on the moon," Turkey's Hurriyet and Zaman newspapers quoted him as saying at the time.

Adding further intrigue, in John Paul's book "Memory And Identity: Conversations Between Millenniums," John Paul said Agca had been maneuvered by another party. "Ali Agca, as everyone says, is a professional assassin. The shooting was not his initiative, someone else planned it, someone else commissioned him," the Pope wrote.

The complex situation of his pardon complicated the calculation of his remaining prison term and even led to his
wrongful release from prison in 2006. He was re-imprisoned 8 days later. It would seem that 2006 was a very unusual year for Agca because in September 2006 he made some other strange comments.

To set the stage, do all of you remember the firestorm that Pope Benedict created in the Muslim world? On September 12, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI delivered a lecture which touched on Islam at the University of Regensburg in Germany. The Pope had previously served as Professor of Theology at the university, and his lecture was entitled "Faith, Reason and the University -- Memories and Reflections". The lecture received much attention from political and religious authorities. Many Islamic politicians and religious leaders registered their protest against what they said was an insulting mischaracterization of Islam, although his focus was aimed towards the rationality of religious violence, and its effect on the religion. Muslims were particularly offended by the following quotation from the Pope's speech:

"Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."

Pope Benedict apologized for any offense he had caused and made a point of visiting Turkey, a predominantly Muslim country, and praying in its Blue Mosque.

Well,
Agca warned Pope Benedict XVI, whose remarks enraged Muslims, not to visit the predominantly Muslim nation of Turkey in November 2006, saying the Pontiff's life could be in danger, in a statement published through his lawyer.

"As a man who knows these things, I am saying that your life is in danger, don't come to Turkey. I can't welcome you because I'm in prison," lawyer Mustafa Demirbag quoted Mehmet Ali Agca as saying. The lawyer said Agca made his statement during a meeting at the high-security Kartal prison in Istanbul on Monday (September 18, 2006/Dutch). Agca speculated in a hand-written letter faxed to the Associated Press by his lawyer that the Pope was pressured by secret services to make such a statement.
Agca called on Benedict to step down as Pope and return to Germany for a peaceful life.

I want to go back about 5 years though to comment on something I believe is noteworthy. In an ironic and bizarre twist of fate, within days after 9/11 (before I was saved) I became consumed with doing some "investigative research" online for anything I could get my hands on that related to that horrific day. Like most people, I was furious and I wanted answers!

Now, the Internet wasn't what it is today. It wasn't as easy to find things online, but even if it were it wouldn't have mattered because my "Search Strings" for the Search Engines were hopelessly amateurish. This was when I was still in college and prior to my career in Recruiting where I learned to fully harness the power of the Internet to find virtually anything anywhere.

Anyway, my point for mentioning this is that even with my very limited search capabilities I found what I believed to be a "smoking gun", or at least a key piece of evidence, in the growing case to be made against those who were responsible for perpetrating 9/11.

That's because I found an Italian news report that stated that, while in prison for his attempted assassination of the Pope, Agca was getting a lot of attention because in the weeks prior to 9/11 he was literally going ballistic and yelling at anyone who would listen to him that the U.S. was about to be attacked! He wanted a message to be sent to the U.S. through his lawyer.

I remember having to click the "Translate This Page" link just so that I could read the story out of Italy. It was in "broken English", but there was enough recognizable syntax to easily understand what was being reported and its significance. Remember that this was just day (maybe about 7-10 days after 9/11) so my first instinct was to tell everyone -- even the rightful authorities. Instead, I assumed that the government probably already knew about it after what amounted to the worst attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor. So, I merely shared my findings with family and friends, bookmarked the page, and moved on.

As the weeks and month passed, I recall feeling strange that the mainstream news hadn't mentioned a single word about the "Grey Wolf" and his unexpected connection to 9/11. That intrigued me. Surely, it was odd for the man who was rotting in a Turkish prison since the 1980s for the attempted assassination of the Pope to say anything about 9/11 prior to the attack itself. Why didn't anyone else think so? I couldn't be the only one asking such a question, could I?

Being as idealistic as I was back in college at the time (and believing I could change the world no matter what I did), I decided that maybe "my purpose" (again, this was before I was born again) was to do the research myself and write a book on the subject because if no one else was going to report the truth I would take on the task.

It was at that point when I went back to that bookmarked page so that I could begin building a case and writing that book. A funny thing happened though. That page no longer existed anywhere on the Internet! I know how it sounds, and I hate when the non-believing world uses this next phrase (but being a believer in Jesus Christ perhaps I'm allowed to in order to prove my point), and may God strike my with lightning if I'm lying. My point is that even though I'm asking you to take my word for it when it comes to this anecdote, I would hope that my word is good for something these days. By the way, I still can't track down that link even today.

Naturally, I did some more digging before writing this and found that Agca, in an interview with the Italian daily, La Repubblica, said he wants to be baptized in St. Peter's Square, where he shot and wounded Pope John Paul II.

He also wants to move to Portugal. Why? I'll let Agca answer that question in his own words:

"In Portugal, at Fatima, there is a statue of the Virgin of Fatima which was dear to Wojtyla. Pope Ratzinger explained that the assassination attempt constituted the famous Third Secret, that is why I chose Portugal."

Interesting. That Kathleen Keating-Art Bell interview from 2000 that we just published yesterday had an entire segment that discussed how the "Third Secret of Fatima" was not the assassination attempt -- that this was a cover story -- and that the truth was much more frightening. Keating and Bell also noted how Father Malachi Martin held the same position right up until his death.

Anyway, I found his mention of the "Third Secret" demonstrative of all this "spiritual convergence" we've been talking about lately. Is it a veiled reference to something else? That the real contents of the "Third Secret" are at hand perhaps? After all, he did just proclaim the Apocalypse, didn't he?

So, needless to say, this was the flood of emotions and the type of thoughts that came to mind today as I read this news this morning. The truth is that I've always felt a strange pull towards studying this bizarre man and his even stranger case history. Not sure why that is, but I found the news of his release today, especially his religious and prophetic comments, curious as if they were very important somehow (a "coded message" perhaps if we are to assume that he is a mind-controlled puppet of some sort?). I just wanted to comment on that.

Look, I know how absurd it all sounds (i.e. Mind Control, Illuminati Puppets, 9/11 Warning Prior to the Attack, etc.) but each and every one of those items has already been proven to be more than just "wild speculation" and a product of one's "vain imagination" from other unrelated sources. So, given that fact, how can I not report on this unusual news today?

The truth is that this enigmatic character seems to make international headlines just prior to some major events taking place in the world. And what's with ALWAYS wearing the color blue whenever we see him publicly? It's quite uncanny really. Is he some kind of mind-controlled Illuminati puppet serving as a "mouthpiece" sending "coded messages" to The-Powers-That-Be who are "in the know", a prophet for Satan, or just a deranged, delusional, sick criminal?

My vote is that he's all of the above. Pray for wisdom and discernment.

Hi jred!
Pope Benedict XVI will travel to Portugal next May to visit the world-famous shrine to the Virgin Mary at Fatima, interesting don´t you think?

This one's certainly a wild-card, Jeff. We have to remember that one of satan's oldest tricks is not lying outright all the time but mixing tantalizing truths and spiritual insights with truth. He may have been right. He may be right again. We just can't be sure. Take it to the Lord.

I too wrote about Acga several times back in 2006 on my "old blog".

His connections to the Russians (Magog), via Bulgaria, are myriad.

My Catholic friends tell me the third secret of Fatima (who we MUST remember is Muhammad's daughter) involves the Pope crawling over bodies through a sea of destruction, flame and death not unlike what one would expect after a nuclear attack.

Some of the passages on wolves in scripture are also especially interesting in the context of the Roman church, e.g., Acts 20:29 --

"...after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock."

We don't believe in coincidences. This Acga guy, Maitreya's interview, all of the earthquakes. No coincidences, something's amiss.

forgive me - but I dont like the statement 'Russia=Magog' . This bashing of Russia comes from a kind of tribe, who needs an enemy, to justify its illegal position.
Russia was the continuation of the Church in the East(Asia), and payed dearly for that by 60+ million deaths(by that tribe).
Lets please keep 'Magog' to be the zombi-like people who will be in Gogs grip; ok ?

Once I read a blog, what made the case that this 'shooting' was but a mega-ritual, to imitate the 'and I saw one of its heads, wounded' ;
some ritual to gain (evil)power in order to can perform something in the near future..
Coincidence, that this man is released, now ?

Not untill one knows, that the earthquake in H. was maninduced, a general rehearsal for this:

..the 16th of March is some building scheduled to start: how convienient itd be, when some other building, with golden roof, would "regrettably " suffer from this next 'earthquake'...

Hello Jeff and All,
My name is Pat. I want to say Hi and introduce myself.
My "veil" was lifted only about 6 months ago. I've been devouring information on many fronts.
God has touched my life from as long as I can remember, but have had periods of being "prodigal".
I enjoy and find your postings informative and confusing. However, the more I search and pray, the more understanding I receive (and the less confusion I have.)
After reading about the "Grey Wolf" , I was up until around 0345 this morning. In particular, searching for Kathleen Keating. I do believe your on to something. Kathleen Keating rings so true in my heart and mind. I'm having trouble finding anything current from her. It's kind of weird how when I do find files, they don't work or I get redirected, etc. Do you have any information of a current website for Ms. Keating? I'd appreciate your input.
May God's blessings and protection be upon all his children-In Jesus name.

Duane "Dewey" Clarridge, a man with an extensive background in terror, was well equipped for managing this job. A rabid right wing ideologue, he was chief of the CIA's station in Turkey in the late 1960s and 1970s, when the fascist Grey Wolves went on a terror rampage, bombing, shooting and killing thousands of officials, journalists, students, lawyers, labor organizers, social democrats, left-wing activists and Kurds. Since then, Turkey' military dictatorship has been one of America's strongest allies.

A body-builder and certified member of the Old Boy clique that runs the CIA, Clarridge in August 1976 helped ADDO Ted Shackley recruit Albert Hakim, later a member of Secord's Enterprise, to spy in Iran.15 (Shackley was soon thereafter forced into retirement due to his association with "rogue elephant" Ed Wilson, the CIA officer who sold tons of explosives to Libya.) Clarridge was serving as the CIA's station chief in Rome when the Pope was shot, and was chief of Latin America Division from 1981 until 1984, when Nicaraguan harbors were mined and the psyops "murder manual" was distributed to the Contras, with his approval. In this capacity Clarridge helped Richard Secord move PLO weapons captured by Israeli forces during their bloody invasion of Lebanon, through Noriega in Panama, to the Contras.
