One of the things I've often wondered is whether or not, as we approach his rule, we'll begin to see various "archaeological discoveries" that attempt to pervert man's understanding of his origins. In other words, I've wondered whether or not we'll begin to see extensive "archaeological evidence" -- discovered "for the first time" no doubt -- that amount to a direct assault on Christianity and the fundamental tenets of our faith.
If things were to play out that way then there wouldn't even have to be an "Alien/UFO - Full Disclosure" type of event. The Vatican could announce one day that it's time to "reveal what they know" and show the world what they have hidden in their archives, which would turn Christianity upside down.
I assume that should things transpire that way that they'll be so convincing, so realistic, that many believers might actually fall for the lie. Wait, there's no need to assume when God's Word explicitly tells us that a great deception of some sort is coming:
Matthew 24:24 (KJV) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
That verse identifies "false Christs" and "false prophets", but it doesn't say much about the specifics of the type of lie they'll try to sell the public. All we know is that whatever it is the goal will be to get people to turn their back on Christianity, and to turn their back on Jesus Christ.
With that in mind, it doesn't seem to be such a stretch to assume that the "lie(s)" can be virtually anything that accomplishes that end for Satan, which is to simply say that it doesn't have to be some kind of major "archaeological discovery" -- it could be anything. Maybe it's a new Law of Mathematics or a new Scientific Theory that forces the planet to look at reality in ways we've never even dreamed of.
I was thinking about all of this today when I came across a man by the name of Nassim Haramein. Researcher Nassim Haramein from "The Resonance Project" discusses his theory on the Holofractographic Universe, the Grand Unified Field Theory, the power of spin, and his DVD, "Crossing the Event Horizon". There are video clips of a presentation he gave in 2005 (there's that year again!) that I'm starting to see show up more and more.
Before I add any commentary here let's take a quick look at a couple of those video clips first. See how this hits you. Me? It left a funny taste in my mouth (wrong metaphor, I know).
Nassim Haramein - Crossing The Event Horizon
Nassim Haramein - The Resonance Project
(NOTE: Not sure what to make of this, but pause the video at the 1:42 mark and take a close look at the image that appears on the screen. I don't have to tell you where because you'll know why I'm referring to and why I asked you to do this. Remember that this video was made in 2005.)
With the motto "Rise To The Equation!", The Resonance Project Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the unification of all sciences and philosophies emerging from a complete and applied view of the physics underlying the wheelworks of nature. Simply put, it's the kind of thing those pushing for a One World Religion (based on the lie that "all paths lead to the same god...") would embrace in a heartbeat -- and have embraced by the looks of things so far.
Personally, I think he's the type of guy you'd want to be wary of because his presentation contains just enough truth to tickle one's ears, and just enough in the spirit of "new" and "exciting" to get some to want to adopt this as their new worldview. That's what makes this sort of thing dangerous. Well, that and the fact that there's absolutely no mention of needing forgiveness for our sins through Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
For that reason alone, I think it's quite obvious how powerful this deception could be unless we prepare now by educating ourselves to the truth, which simply means grounding ourselves in the Word of God and learning about these "discoveries", but only as much as is needed to refute those who will succumb to its seducing powers as the deception deepens.
However, there's one other reason why I decided to look into this quickly today. Remember the last column on James Cameron? In that post we highlighted Cameron's blasphemous production known as The Lost Tomb Of Jesus as being the last major thing he did in Hollywood prior to the release of Avatar.
I wonder if the conclusions force fed to us in that 2007 documentary might resurface again relatively soon using something like this Resonance Project as its vehicle. Why do I think that? Because in one section of Haramein's speech he specifically goes out of his way to identify the markings above the archaeological site where this supposed "lost tomb" came from!
Unlocking The Mystery - Tetragrammaton
Those familiar with the Book of Enoch will recognize the Tetragrammaton. Hiram Abiff (incarnation of Thoth Hermes) was the Master Builder of the Temple of Solomon. He's big in Masonic circles. Hiram bestowed the to Masters in Jerusalem the Tetragrammaton or "Lost Word". It was this Lost Word which Moses engraved on a plate of gold.
According to tradition, the Tetragrammaton had originally been revealed to Enoch by God. Enoch was taken to a high mountain where he beheld the radiant, inscribed triangle, and then down into a "subterranean place" where, once again, the golden triangle was seen by him after his having descended through "nine arches".
At a later time, Hiram would construct a Temple with nine arches, just as was revealed to him in the vision. Enoch concealed under the ninth arch was a duplicate of the golden triangle with the Tetragrammaton/Lost Word upon it. I guess it somehow corresponds to the "true name of God" (I'm sorry to admit that I'm not as familiar with this term as I probably should be), and we're told it's "unpronounceable" by the human tongue until that day when humanity enters a state of "higher consciousness".
Higher consciousness, huh? Sounds extremely New Agey to me. See what I mean about just enough truth mixed in with the lie to make it palatable to those genuinely seeking the truth, but who are actually unstable (susceptible really) without the foundation of the Word of God?
Please continue to pray for wisdom and discernment in this "Age of Deception" because we need it for sure. At the end of the day, we MUST ALWAYS REMIND OURSELVES that all the truth we need is found in one Book, containing 66 smaller Books, written by 40 different authors, embodied in One Savior named Jesus Christ, all of which is divinely approved by Our Father in Heaven.

Regarding your hypothesis that Satan's lie or deception would be maybe sudden and drastic cures to a disease or ailment. Suppose that God has allowed for centuries, Satan and minions to cause cerebral palsy or some type of cancer. Suppose a supernatural figure of the demonic type, comes on the scene and has the cure. People would accept this with no questions asked.
We know that the curse result of the Adam episode has caused all kinds of havoc on our bodies, minds and souls and from this point of reference, I believe, the evil one will carry out his plan.
JRed,
For fun, listen to the first video again, and write down all the catch phrases. It is easy to see why this guy is sending up spiritual red flags to a discerning Christian, and why he represents such a danger to most people:
"Ancient wisdom"
"holistic view of nature"
"pattern of creation"
"key to creation is geometry"
"infinite division"
"infinite information"
"infinite potential within yourself"
"you are the center of the universe"
"everyone is the center of their universe"
"therefore we are all equal and we are all one"
Haven't listened to all the videos yet...but in the 3rd one he is discussing this concept of infinite fractal division, and how it leads you to the same conclusion that religious leaders and philosophers have been making down thru the ages...and how our concepts of heaven, God, and our own very nature are all explained by this 'new perception'...
Hahaha...same old lie the serpent told Eve, if you read between the lines and put together what he is actually saying. There is a 'sacred' knowledge that explains everything, discovering it for yourself will give you infinite power and wisdom, no longer will we need to be confined and governed by out-moded superstitions... see it?
The scary part is, he is probably on to a real discovery here, in the scientific sense. I don't remember if I read it here on your blog, but there is a visible Hexagon feature at the north pole of Saturn, which is unexplainable by Nasa or by science's current understanding of physics. The best explanation so far has to do with mini-black holes, and a magnetic phenomenon very similar to Nassim Haramein's 'pryamids within circles' analogy. The danger of course, being that a little bit of truth will convince people that ALL of his theory is true.
If only Mr. Haramein had a Biblical world view; think of the real truths he might be able to uncover! He certainly has a vivid imagination, and a gift for explaining difficult concepts.

Praise the LORD that we have bloggers like you to warn us about those evil scientists trying to unify the things that don't make sense when put together.
You're right he never mentions that we must repent to Jesus therefore he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. Nassim and his sciency geek friends should start their experiments by expressing their faith that the LORD controls everything if they ever want to get accurate results!
