What is it with Times Square?
It appears as if New York is becoming a new "Ground Zero" of sorts. This time, it's Ground Zero for the prophesied New World Order as was/is emblematic of two recent billboards.
First, last week saw President Obama emblazoned on one billboard in that definitely exhibited some prophetic symbolism (whether intentional or not) as explored in the "Photos Force Feeding Us An Antichrist?" column.
Here we are exactly 1 week later and now we read about a new billboard in Times Square that should give us cause for concern, but only in the sense that it's further proof that the prophesied end times, complete with the rise and rule of the Antichrist dictator at the head of a Global Tyrannical Government, is quickly approaching.
In the interest of being "fair and balanced" here, I get why this makes sense. I read about the FBI's plans to use it to flash pictures of missing persons and to publicize high-priority security messages. That's a good thing. In fact, the FBI has used other billboards across the country to generate tips. It says at least 30 cases have been solved because of them. That's a great thing too. Plus, the head of the FBI's New York office, Joseph Demarest, says the Times Square billboard makes perfect sense because it will be seen by the millions of people who pass through there. Again, a great point and a good idea.
Yet, even the greatest ideas have a way of succumbing to the fallen nature of man when put into the wrong hands. I don't believe it's such a stretch to suggest that this type of thing is laying the foundation for the coming "Police State" that will be characteristic of the coming One World Government system. It will be done all in the name of "peace and security" too much like the Patriot Act was following 9/11.
So, while I agree that much good will come from this sort of thing, I simply intend to point out how slowly but surely (and subtly) the political-religious symbolism as well as the infrastructure and technology is being positioned and integrated within society and our everyday lives.
Of course, that's how we'd expect it to work, right? I mean, is the Boiling Frog Scenario. Little by little, we're conditioned to the point where these things become commonplace and "no big deal" no matter what they're eventually used for one day. If we look at this spiritually and from an eternal perspective, that's the goal, isn't it?
In the final analysis, I'm struck by the fact that in the matter of a single week we are treated to two stories in the mainstream news both involving Times Square in New York and both involving images that evoke thoughts of the prophesied end times.
Folks, I'd say that our Heavenly Father is revealing these signs to us in His infinite love and mercy before it's too late. The sad and ironic thing about all of this is that even though He allows such things to be put into neon signs designed to get our attention there will be millions (even Christians) who fail to see the significance and connect the dots.
Pray for them. Pray for continued wisdom and discernment.
(NOTE: Not really the direction I wanted to go with this, but something I noticed just now about both pictures embedded above. In the Obama billboard we find the logo for "Red Lobster" restaurants. I just thought it was funny that we have what some might want to call a "beast from the sea" in that same image. Also, in the FBI billboard we find the image above the "Clear Channel" name -- take that as you will; "clear" + "channel" -- and off to the lower left a sign that reads "Roxy", which made me think of that "Sex and 9/11?" column from the other day about the newest "Sex Robot" named "Roxxxy" and its possible prophetic implications!)

I disagree that this is good on any level. reason being that the FBI is only there to keep the corporate model safe and secure!
the corporate model IS the federal gov. tied to international corporations!
