Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie

In catching up on my reading from the past couple of weeks I noticed that a lot of people within the Body of Christ are sensing imminent divine judgment of some sort.
Such a gut feeling fueled by faith was exacerbated by the government's warning that another terrorist attack was "certain" to occur within the next 3-6 months.
Of course, this seemed appropriate following Iran's latest announcement of doing something to shock the world on February 11th, and our military's naval response in the Persian Gulf as a result.
Specifically, I've noticed more than a few references to the possible prophetic implications of Don McLean's classic hit song "American Pie" as we approach this February temporal window.
It made me think of the 5-part series from December 2008 in which we explored so much unusual religious symbolism associated with that record. It could mean nothing, or it could mean everything.
Anyway, I strongly encourage you all to take a few minutes to re-read that series in case it prompts some new revelations that need to be shared.
If nothing else, at least read Part 5 and prayerfully consider God's use of songs (as recorded for us in the Holy Bible) to help the Israelites "remember" their past and their future because that's what makes me think there's something to this line of thinking.
December 2008: Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie Series (Parts 1-5)
I find it odd how a significant portion of that 2008 series was devoted to the question of President Obama's eligibility to hold that political office, and here we are revisiting this series only a few days after the issue was placed front-and-center for further political debate by Obama himself following his bizarre comments at the National Prayer Breakfast the other morning.
One can't help but to wonder if tomorrow's Super Bowl and the upcoming Winter Olympics in another week or two indicate that something ominous is in our near future.
Let's pray that's not the case, but let's remember Who we are to rest in should the unthinkable manifest itself courtesy of Satan and his diabolical agents of death and destruction.

he himself admits the song came from an acid or lsd induced weekend in which he had several visions. I believe he was and probably still is controlled by the powers that be, and in the music industry just like hollywoood that would be the zionst jews!!!

Interesting....on Newineskins today is the following:

I noticed in the footnotes in my Bible that this vision took place on Shevat 24, which is Feb 15, 519 BC. …the Feb 7 Superbowl game, calculated after sunset, falls on Shevat 24 – the exact same day as the vision given to Zechariah! The Buddy Holly plane crash on Feb 3, 1959 equates to Shevat 25…
This is Superbowl 44; O is the 44th president. There's no 44 per se in Bullinger's work, but 4 is the number of all that is created and 40 is the number of probation or testing. So, perhaps 44 indicates a testing of all creation?
Compare it to Rev. 3:10 - Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. (Testing of creation?)
Tomorrow (Superbowl Sunday) may prove to be a very interesting day even for those of us who couldn't care less about football!

Concerning Iran's Feb 11 boast to shock the world,
a thought, doesn't the Olympics begin on Feb 12?
I hope and pray they have strong security in place for those events.

It is good to see another post, I have only been following for a couple of months, but your articles are informative and thought-provoking. I looked up your recommended post "Bye Bye Miss American Pie" - interesting.
I noticed you repeatedly mentioned "the Nations (plural) of Israel", I would like to suggest that you look over the site at the link below, particularly the section entitled "The Ten Tribes Were Never Lost" (http://www.theologicalstudies.org.uk/article_legend_dimont.html).
And Romans Chapters 9, 10 & 11; "That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." (Romans 9:8) and; "For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For their is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:11,12,13) Noah also cursed Canaan, blessed Shem, and said of Japheth "God shall enlarge Japheth and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem.." (Genesis 9:25,26,27) The Bible says, "by grace ye are saved" (Ephesians 2:5) not by RACE ye are saved.
