'Miami 2017' About New York In 2010?

Unreal.

So much deep, prayerful discussion and introspection the past few hours within the Body of Christ, as far as I can tell, about what many are sensing is an imminent and divine "point of no return" of sorts to occur very soon and in an extremely tangible way.

One particular aspect of our focus has been on a classic song by Don McLean called "American Pie" and it's potential prophetic significance. Of course, Miami (the site of today's NFL 44th Super Bowl) is the other.

Naturally, I had to probe a little deeper before heading off to bed especially after reading the following tonight:

Superbowl, American Pie, Yellowstone -- Prepare To Run With The Horses

The Superbowl, Zechariah, Myrtle, Horses And Bees

Anyway, I'm glad I did because I knew there was something the Holy Spirit led us to in the past that MIGHT BE important in relation to this study. Remember this?

Connecting The Dots...

Even if the skeptic claims that the above information as presented in that clip is "contrived", I'd still argue that it's one heck of a "coincidence" that all of those major disasters and tragic events in the U.S. connect like that with lines to reveal what some have called a "pentagram of blood".

That leaves us to prayerfully consider whether tomorrow's Superbowl in Miami, FL will be a day that will live in infamy since it is one of 4 places yet to "complete" what appears to be a Satanic agenda for this nation (the other 3 places are Arkansas, Kansas, and the Gulf of Mexico).

Before you immediately dismiss the notion, I have to point out how I recently stumbled upon a couple of other videos that suggests something sinister could be in the works. Have a look:

Haiti Mock Drill : SOUTHCOM Prepared Relief Drill To Haiti Before Earthquake Struck!

U.S. Defense Had Mock Haiti Disaster Drill Day Before Earthquake?

So, assuming the Haiti earthquake was a direct result of the use of H.A.A.R.P., like so many have suspected, then perhaps that was done to make Haiti a "staging area" of sorts for the U.S. military in anticipation of a "false flag" attack in Miami during Superbowl Sunday since that would undoubtedly allow the federal government to build up the appropriate presence of forces nearby to respond swiftly to such an "attack" should one occur.

Look, I know how crazy it all sounds, but it was only a couple of weeks ago when we looked at some pretty conclusive 9/11 evidence, which suggests our government -- or at least key factions of it -- were complicit on that fateful day. Now, add to all of this the recent announcement by federal authorities that they are "certain" that a terrorist attack will be attempted within 3-6 months and you be the judge.

If you still doubt that such a scenario is even possible, then you're not only not reading your Bible (because you don't fully understand the spiritual war that is being waged as we speak under the guise of "politics" and "terrorism"), but you're ignoring history -- some of it very recent too I might add. Take a look at this news report from 2006:

Geraldo Exposing Miami Terror Op

Ironic (or not?) that we find that so-called "domestic, home-grown terror cell" coming up in our study today. Why? Well, if you thought there was overt religious symbolism in things like Don McLean's hit single, then you probably don't remember how these men -- patsies really -- were part of a group they formed that they called the "Seas of David", which law enforcement and the media obviously painted as "a militant religious group". That's odd because even the Deputy FBI Director John Pistole had described this group as beinf more "aspirational than operational" in its terrorist nature.

Wanna know what's even stranger in the context of this discussion? The group was made up of 7 members that each had their own nickname -- "Prince Manna" was their leader and relatives have described him as a "Moses-like" figure who roamed his neighborhood wearing a robe and carrying a crooked wooden cane. Plus, they often wore uniforms bearing a Star of David and met for Bible study and martial arts practice.

At this point, let's just stop for a moment and marvel at how highly improbably it is that we're sitting here 4 years later contemplating what God may or may not allow to happen to this world any day now in order to fulfill His ultimate plan for humanity, and we find the same names, nations, places, and themes that were present in a 2006 story of a very similar nature.

As strange (and unsettling) as all that is, there's still one final piece to today's prophetic puzzle that ties in with the title used for this post. I assure you that it will put an exclamation point on just about everything we've been looking at from various men and women who love the Lord.

We began with a song, and we'll end with a song. "Miami 2017 (Seen The Lights Go Out On Broadway)" is a song written by Billy Joel that appeared as the final song on the album Turnstiles in 1976. A live version would also be released as the first track on his 1981 collection of live performances of lesser-known songs, called Songs in the Attic.

Before we listen to the song and review the lyrics let's start with the most glaring facts -- it's the "final song" on an album called "Turnstiles".

turn·stile (tûrnstl)
n.

1. A mechanical device used to control passage from one public area to another, typically consisting of several horizontal arms supported by and radially projecting from a central vertical post and allowing only the passage of individuals on foot.

2. A similar structure that permits the passage of an individual once a charge has been paid or that counts the number of individuals passing through.

Immediate thought...Rapture?

Turnstiles also symbolize entering into a new stage in life, and so this being the final song on a record with that particular name tells me that it's almost like the curtain call of an epoch or an era. The end of the "Church Age" perhaps? Rapture? Just a thought.

The other glaring fact? It's the "first song" on an album called "Songs in the Attic".

at*tic (at-ik)
n.

1. the part of a building, esp. of a house, directly under a roof; garret.

Immediate thought...the Upper Room?

An attic also symbolizes your "Higher Self", and your "spiritual development and progress", which fits nicely with all the Maitreya stuff lately especially if the fact that it is the first song on a new album was meant to impress upon us the beginning of a new era, or a New Age, just like Share International, Benjamin Creme, Maitreya, and all the Luciferian New Agers proclaim is imminent.

Ok, here's the song I promised:

Miami 2017
(NOTE: I just shook my head when I watched this 1978 clip and in big, bold letters behind Billy Joel is the word "Musikladen", which surely made me think of Bin Laden given our subject matter today)

Here are the lyrics to the song:

I've seen the lights go out on Broadway-
I saw the Empire State laid low.
And life went on beyond the Palisades,
They all bought Cadillacs-
And left there long ago.

We held a concert out in Brooklyn-
To watch the Island bridges blow.
They turned our power down,
And drove us underground-
But we went right on with the show...

I've seen the lights go out on Broadway-
I saw the ruins at my feet,
You know we almost didn't notice it-
We'd see it all the time on Forty-Second Street.

They burned the churches up in Harlem-
Like in that Spanish Civil War-
The flames were everywhere,
But no one really cared-
It always burned up there before...

I've seen the lights go down on Broadway-
I watched the mighty skyline fall.
The boats were waiting at the Battery,
The union went on strike-
They never sailed at all.

They sent a carrier out from Norfolk-
And picked the Yankees up for free.
They said that Queens could stay,
They blew the Bronx away-
And sank Manhattan out at sea....

You know those lights were bright on Broadway-
But that was so many years ago...
Before we all lived here in Florida-
Before the Mafia took over Mexico.
There are not many who remember-
They say a handful still survive...
To tell the world about...
The way the lights went out,
And keep the memory alive....

As the title indicates, the song is written from the point of view of a narrator situated in Miami, Florida in the year 2017. However, the song is itself a fictional retrospective on the closure, or falling, of New York City some years earlier.

Boy that's heavy, isn't it? I mean, just ponder the implications if we all are, in fact, on to something quite significant and prophetically relevant here. If the narrator is set in the year 2017 and they're looking back on what happened to New York City, then within the context of a Biblical end times prophecy conversation like this (and one that includes the thought that Miami might somehow play a key role in all of this), what if the world was watching the Superbowl in Miami later tonight while something dreadful happened to cause New York City to be destroyed (consistent with David Wilkerson's last prophetic warning maybe?). Again, it's just a thought.

I also found the timeframe curious. Again, presuming we're right about today possibly being prophetically significant (no, not "date-setting", but just thinking out loud here), then this being the year 2010, and the fictional "narrator" in Joel's song being set in 2017 and looking back, that would give us 7 years -- or exactly the length of the prophesied Tribulation!

The narrator recalls attending an unauthorized concert in Brooklyn (so as "to watch the island bridges blow") on the city's final night in existence, which proceeded in spite of official objection ("They turned our power down / And drove us underground / But we went right on with the show"). The spectators witnessed the various measures being taken to close down the city including the burning of churches in Harlem (there's where I thought of David Wilkerson's warning), the sinking of Manhattan, and the tumbling of the "mighty skyline". According to the song's final verse, New York residents were evacuated, or moved to Florida, and in the meantime, the city's Mafia families had relocated to Mexico, making it their new base of operations.

Why Joel choose to describe the demolition of his beloved hometown in the final song on the album is not entirely clear, except that he has described it as a "science fiction song", which is also appropriate I think given all our studies on Hollywood and Sci-Fi's role in the mass conditioning movement for the last several decades.

The song describes an "alternate future history" where the city did not recover and as a result was dismantled while the rest of the country remained intact. The narrative makes several allusions to New York City icons, their state at the time of the events in question, and the fate which befalls them. A summary of the description of the night's events follows:

> The Empire State Building is "laid low."

> The bridges to Manhattan are "blown", serving as the backdrop for the concert described in the song.

> Power is cut off from the city, as demonstrated by the titular extinguishing of the lights in the Broadway entertainment district and the loss of power for the concert described in the song.

> The narrator notes that the residents "almost didn't notice" the ruins at their feet, as they "see it all the time on 42nd Street."

> Churches are burned in Harlem, which the narrator likens to the Spanish Civil War. Again he notes the mild impact this had on the residents, as it "always burned up there before."

> Boats are sent to Battery Park to help evacuate the city, but due to a union strike, none of them sail.

> The New York Yankees baseball team is picked up by an aircraft carrier from the Norfolk Naval Base.

> Decisions are made with regards to each of the Boroughs -- "they said that Queens could stay, they blew the Bronx away, and sank Manhattan out at sea."

> Former New York City residents move to Florida, and an allusion is made to Mafia control of Mexico.

> Despite the carnage, life goes on "beyond the Palisades".

Amazingly, the lyrics also reference the Genesis concept album "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway", which is also set in New York City and its title song.

Why do I mention that here? Because the album tells the surreal story of a half-Puerto Rican juvenile delinquent named "Rael" (Raelians anyone?) living in New York City, who is swept underground to face bizarre creatures and nightmarish dangers in order to rescue his brother John.

Several of the story's occurrences and places were derived from Peter Gabriel's dreams, and the protagonist's name is a play on his surname. In an interview Phil Collins remarked, "It's about a "split personality" (Black Awakening anyone?). In this context, Rael would believe he is looking for John but is actually looking for a missing part of himself. The individual songs also make satirical allusions to everything from mythology to the sexual revolution to advertising and consumerism (in other words, EVERYTHING we will find represented in the Superbowl later today!).

Again, keep in mind that Joel's song was written in 1976. So, even though Joel has since performed it as a tribute to those whose lives were forever changed by 9/11, it wasn't a song that was written with 9/11 in mind. In that sense, it's very similar to the type of thing we find with McLean's song "American Pie", isn't it?

Thus, that's precisely why I found the juxtaposition between that unforgettable day in 2001 and Miami -- regardless of the future date -- appropriate for closer scrutiny by us (especially now since we're all in a state of heightened awareness about what might happen later today in, of all places, Miami).

I pray we're all wrong. I pray this day passes like every other Superbowl Sunday before it, and that the only major headlines of the day involve the team that won the game. No, not because that's "important" by any means. After all, it's just a football game played by grown men who too many in the world have come to idolize and make more important than God.

I'll pray that we're wrong and that the only headlines that dominate the news later tonight are football related because I know deep down in my heart that should divine judgment be our destiny today, then there will be countless millions who never responded to God's calls to respond to His voice. It's for them that my heart breaks even though I know they've had every chance in the world to come out of this world and return to their Heavenly Father.

Sometimes we are afraid, sometimes this "spirit of fear" overcomes us, and to overcome it we need to trust in and love God completely.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love

No one is perfect, and God knows this. That is why He has liberally sprinkled encouragement against fear throughout the Bible. Beginning in the Book of Genesis and continuing throughout the Book of Revelation, God reminds us to "Fear not". For example, Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, "Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Often we fear the future and what will become of us. But Jesus reminds us that God cares for the birds of the air, so how much more will He provide for His children?

Matthew 10:31 So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows

Just these few verses cover many different types of fear. God tells us not to be afraid of being alone, of being too weak, of not being heard, and of lacking physical necessities. These admonishments continue throughout the Bible, covering the many different aspects of the "spirit of fear".

In Psalm 56:11 the psalmist writes, "In God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" This is an awesome testimony to the power of trusting in God. Regardless of what happens, the psalmist will trust in God because he knows and understands the power of God. The key to overcoming fear, then, is total and complete trust in God. Trusting God is a refusal to give in to fear. It is a turning to God even in the darkest times and trusting Him to make things right. This trust comes from knowing God and knowing that He is good.

As Job said when he was experiencing some of the most difficult trials recorded in the Bible, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him" (Job 13:15). Once we have learned to put our trust in God, we will no longer be afraid of the things that come against us. We will be like the psalmist who said with confidence "…let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you" (Psalm 5:11).

Even so, I pray...Lord, have mercy on us all.

Let's not forget the STS-130 NASA mission. It was scheduled for launch early this morning, but was postponed due to weather. Notice the "hexagon" (like on Saturn) that features prominently on their mission logo/patch or whatever.

Wow..I didn't even know that Billy Joel song existed. Very eerie indeed.

I'll pray that we're wrong and that the only headlines that dominate the news later tonight are football related because I know deep down in my heart that should divine judgment be our destiny today,

I dismissed the Waco line until I happened on this article from 2006 in an unrelated search. However, I believe the only disaster that will happen in Miami today will be that the Colts will win the game.

@ Anon 12:00

You're not a very good troll... I could smell you coming into the comments section.

These men do not make predictions to that they might be vindicated and glorified by men... they are warning us out of love and divine obligation of possible events or dangers... I for one am very greatful.

Thanks jred. Love the blog and I good luck with your new job!

@Anon 7:23

Hell is paved with the best of intentions.

I use "Hell" metaphorically. Of course. Disillusioned "prohets" are probably not going to carry the weight of responsibility of real, God ordained prophets. However, I see alot of disclaimers on this site, JRed included, that note that they are "not prophets, that said...". Look, either you are or you're not.

Maybe we should stop ringing the bell of Armeggedon so much. Unless you've actually heard from the Lord about the end game, which I doubt simply because I'm convinced since He did'nt allow the mystery of mysteries to be conveyed from the mouth of the apostle Paul, he will not divulge it to you.

Nontheless, the paradox is that all normal rules of engagement are off currently due to the fact that the times are the strangest indeed. All I ask is tempor with sobriety.

Funny now when I look back at all the predictions and possible scenarios go wrong from disasters in Miami to the Colts winning the Super Bowl, lol!

But low and behold we were foretold there would be a Super Bowl game in 2010, and then that it would occur in Miami, and then that it would be the Saints against the Colts... Little by little, piece by piece we were told ahead of time and like the Super Bowl, God lets us know piece by piece of what is coming down at His Super Bowl at the end of the age. We know where it will be played out and we know who the teams are. Soon, He will announce the date. Hope everyone is rooting for the home team!

Fear not, I know in my heart of hearts that the Lord will reveil all things in good time.

And like all Super Bowl predictions, some will be wrong and some will be correct... but at the end of the day the game will be played. Where will you be a half time?
