The last post mentioned "changes coming". I think I would like to expand that to include changes not just to where this forum is hosted from now on, but also to the overall approach and sentiments I have about things and about doing God's will in this late and urgent hour.
I'm still waiting to see what the Lord has to say about some of the possibilities that come to mind. To be perfectly blunt, I just want to make sure that it's His ideas and His will that's bubbling to the surface of my mind and not my own. Anything I do -- ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING -- must ALWAYS be about Him and Him alone, and not me or anyone else. I can't begin to tell you how that message has been impressed upon me lately.
While I wait for the Holy Spirit to guide me accordingly, here's a little insight into the direction LUF may be heading. I just read the following, which shouldn't have surprised me, but did:
9 Out Of 10 Mainstream News Stories Are Copied
Blogging -- and new media in general -- has often been criticized as being derivative.
Here are some stats that may put that criticism in perspective:
> 9 out of 10 mainstream news stories are copied!
In the stories analyzed (from publications like Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The New York Times and NPR) only 11 percent contained some amount of original reporting.
> Only 6 percent were primarily based on original reporting!
> 12 of the new stories mentioned no source or did not provide attribution!
> Google News ranks original reporting fairly high in its list!
Google says they rank stories based on criteria such as the reputation of a source, number of references by other articles, and the headline clickthrough rate and this appears to work fairly well.
As people ponder the fate of news organizations, these sort of statistics are going to become extremely important.
If 9 out of 10 mainstream news stories are basically copies, there’s A MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY to do things more efficiently. And the "instantaneousness" of the Internet IS forcing the issue -- hard. Isn't that the truth?
Spiritually speaking, those who reside in the "Halls of Power" who have the authority to exert their influence upon the national and international mainstream media in an attempt to shape public opinion in such a way to suit their own Satanic agenda will meet a dire fate:
Obadiah 1:3 (KJV) The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
Lord have mercy on them all for their constant deception and lies. I pray that they see the error in their evil intent to suppress the truth and stifle freedom of expression before it's too late.
God willing, perhaps He'll use many of us to pull the wool from over the eyes of the "sheeple" (and those who write "news" for them) in new and exciting ways we never imagined.
Stay tuned.

I read the other post first, so now I believe I see where you are headed with this. By all means, if you feel that you are being lead of God to pursue reporting the truth, you should do it. I have seen your faithfulness to God and your ability to uncover information, I will support you ( with some financial assistance) as long as I am able and as long as God tells me to. He is showing me that not just the church needs our financial assistance...there are those out these doing a tremendous work for God who need our financial resources.
