From Obamacare, To Jerusalem, To The End Times

I'm counting the crossroads today. From "Obamacare", to Jerusalem, to the end times. That's where we are today. There were two historic events that took place yesterday, and both were prophetically significant.

As we all know, President Obama signed into law the most dangerous and anti-life piece of domestic policy legislation in American history (and that's just in response to the few things we know about that exist in the Bill that was passed!).

I'd like to sit here and say that I think the people of this country will remember this moment and use it as a catalyst for change come November, but how many times have we seen this sort of thing? I mean, after all, the President himself flip-flopped on the issue of Health Care in the span of a single year! Have a look:

Obama Flip Flops On Health Care

That was the first of many spiritual crossroads I began counting yesterday. In addition, the next was born out of his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That meeting was historic because American-Israeli relations are at an all-time low.

Israel will be constructing 1,600 new housing units in East Jerusalem -- a policy that, as the Israeli newspaper Haaretz notes, is the same as it has been in the 42 years since Jerusalem has been under Israeli control. Israel has been pummeled by the Obama administration of late for its decision to build housing in its capital city, which is ridiculous because that would be like Israel telling us we can't build homes in Washington DC anymore.

The whole thing should be odd to a casual observer, considering that the Obama-Netanyahu Building Moratorium Agreement, executed last year, specifically excludes Jerusalem. Sadly, just like how Obama flip-flopped on Health Care (as evidenced by the video embedded above that shows him speaking in his own words), we find more proof of his political instability as demonstrated by this next clip of him:

Barack Obama At AIPAC - June 2008

His comments about Israel and the status of Jerusalem notwithstanding, doesn't anyone think it's concerning for a politician -- particularly the current President of the United States -- to flip-flop on issues of critical importance like this? Yes, I get that some will argue this is nothing more than "politics as usual", but I would counter that when the will of the people is subverted (flat out ignored!) like it has been by this administration lately, and especially when the jobs and political futures of many in Washington DC hangs in the balance, I would hope that it would prompt some of you non-believers to seriously question why that is the case.

My prayer is that you will finally start to realize that these things are happening precisely because they are rooted in the spiritual realm, and because God said this would happen to fulfill His ultimate plans for humanity. It's really that simple, and I gotta believe that most see that but refuse to accept it for fear of what else it would mean (and force them to admit and explore).

Back to this second spiritual crossroads involving Israel. Earlier Tuesday, Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) said, "The time has come for this administration to stop bullying Israel." At least someone in Washington DC gets it.

Despite the cost, Israel has taken great risks to achieve peace, conceding its land -- and, arguably, some of its security to do so. And now, Israel faces the gravest threat in its history -- the potential of an Iranian nuclear weapon.

Our national security and well-being are intertwined with that of Israel, a fact that the Obama administration would be wise to understand.

Don't believe me? If you're not a Christian and don't have a Bible within reach, then please simply take some time to do a quick study of World History. Even the secular historian will admit that there's an uncanny connection between a nation's rise and fall on the world stage and her direct treatment of Israel.

Of course, that should be of no surprise to us since that's EXACTLY what God says will happen as it's recorded in His Word thousands of years ago as found today in the Holy Bible.

I'm just wondering whether or not those in this country who go on living in ignorance to that spiritual truth will finally "get it" once this nation experiences her full fall from grace because make no mistake -- it's coming!

God will not be mocked! He will not turn a blind eye to the legalized and forced support of the slaughter of innocent life in this nation! He will not turn a blind eye to the pressure being exerted by this nation upon Israel to give up her land and divide Jerusalem!

The impact of such a divine response will be felt in each and every home in America, and it's coming much sooner than most think. Gosh, all one needs to do is look at another area of concern, another spiritual crossroads from the other day, that should give everyone pause even if it's looked at independently from these other historical events -- Stocks Fall On Concern About US Credit Rating.

Folks (and I'm speaking to those unbelievers who happened to stumble upon this post today as well as to those "Christians" who don't believe in the validity of any end times prophecies), let's just ignore the spiritual component to the Health Care/Abortion debate and even the U.S.-Israeli Relations debate for a moment because I get that there's typically a sharp divide on those issues between both camps. Instead, let's look at a topic that EVERYONE can relate to and generally agree on -- Economy/$Money$.

Do you know what would happen if the U.S. eventually lost its top-notch "AAA" credit rating? You should because I'd venture to guess that a majority of you are ill-prepared for such a scenario (a scenario that's becoming more and more likely by the day and especially now that this massive Health Care Bill was just passed).

Forget about relying on your Savings or an "Emergency Cash Fund" hidden in an envelope under your mattress. What I'm guaranteeing will happen (no, not because I'm saying it, but because the Bible says it, and you can hear all about it HERE) is that we will all need to learn how to rely on the Lord and only the Lord for daily provision. It's really that simple although that kind of lifestyle I'm sure would be really hard for some of you.

That's why I want to try and impress upon people their need to turn away from all the "creature comforts" and "false securities" they've established in their life because it's all worthless! Don't wait for a crisis to force you to your knees in sincere prayer. Seek the Lord's face today and just talk to Him. Ask Him for forgiveness, repent of your sins, recommit your life to living a life that is pleasing to Him, pray for Him to reveal areas in your life that need some "house cleaning" and then go ahead and "clean your spiritual house", and don't wait until the "Spring" (or until some crisis hits) before you finally do that because if you do you'll be ill-prepared to handle the full weight of chaos, death, destruction, emotions, fear, and uncertainty that is sure to result from a full economic collapse and death of the U.S. Dollar.

Please understand that these are not "fear tactics" here, but genuine, heartfelt concern coming from someone who wants to clearly communicate to you the reality about what's coming upon this world. Look, we've already seen a federal government ignore the will of its people and enact a law that no one wanted; a law that will severely negatively impact the country financially (not to mention culturally, morally, and politically).

Here's a quick video clip from a secular mainstream news program that highlights the reality of the world in which we're living in, and incredibly includes all the buzz words that us Christians have been warning you about for years. Maybe hearing these same things from one of your own will finally convince you that we're trying to report the truth about a global economic collapse, the death of the U.S. Dollar and economy, the creation of a global currency, the creation of a one-world government, and the establishment of a New World Order:

New World Order On The Glenn Beck Show

Those who will survive (whatever definition you choose to give that term in the face of such righteous retribution) will be those who have fallen on their knees in sincere repentance, begging God to forgive them for their sins, and praying for His Holy Spirit to enter their lives and show them the way to right living with the Lord and Savior in complete control -- not them, not their money, not their material possessions and resources, not their elected officials, not their government, not their military.

No, Him and only Him, which is the way it was always meant to be since the very beginning.

Lord have mercy on this nation and her people.

I like the font style very much, but it's a little bit of a strain on my middle-aged eyeballs to read the pale letters:) Thanks, and God bless you, brother!

John,

So, this is what it means to suffer for His namesake? No matter. Given where God's taking me, I suppose I should welcome experiences like this as a sort of "refinement" process. Praise the Lord!

Yet, with all due respect, I think you're way outta line here my brother, and it truly breaks my heart that despite all the prayers and patience exhibited here (from me and others) you still engage in hateful, incendiary communication with all of us in this forum.

I've even defended you and ignored calls to "ban" you and keep your comments from being published from now on, and yet you have no qualms about attacking me personally. Why is that my friend? I genuinely want to know where all this anger and hate comes from.

I'd hardly say that I "worship" Israel, or somehow place them above my Lord and Savior. That's ridiculous. Have you read any of the other entries here over the past week? Was it to Israel and Netanyahu that I prayed to for guidance, or Jesus Christ?

Yes, as with ANY CULTURE/RACE OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD, there are "good" and "bad" in every group (and that includes the state of Israel), but "one bad apple doesn't spoil the apple cart", right?

Besides, my comments in support of Israel in this piece were a DIRECT REFERENCE to what God's Word says on the matter. Are you going to try to tell me (and us) that our Heavenly Father is also a "numbskull" for having such things written about them in the Bible b/c the Jews -- according to you -- really want to kill all His followers (Christians)?

John, I've said it many times over -- I AM NOT ABOVE REPROOF and can admit that I could be wrong about some of my Biblical knowledge and understanding. I'm wondering though if you have it in you to find the same measure of humility and can meet me half way. Aside from what others might think, I believe that you do. I just wish we could all see it more often, or even just from time-to-time.

Lord, forgive me for the feelings of anger and frustration I'm having at the moment. I also pray for John and that You help to give Him a heart that's not infected with hate and self-righteousness; a heart that shows humility and brings glory and honor to You and only You. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Saved By Grace Through Faith,
Jeff (JRed)

with all do respect to someone trying to be a christian. my ritghtiuosness does not come from myself. it comes from GOD because I do my best to study, understand and follow the teachings of JESUSCHRIST and the WORD of GOD!!!

I have no hate for you or anyone else, frustration YES. you see one of your biggest mistakes is you misconscrew the TRUTH for hate?

you need to understand that LIES, are one of the biggest SINS in GODS existance!!! we are told that all over the bible. who is the father of lies? (lucifer) that is why you need to start decerning TRUTH from fiction!!!
you need to start by doing a very in depth study on the TRUTH of the rapture! because the TRUTH is it is a huge LIE!!! I think that is why GOD is not allowing you to see the whole truth, because you still willingly except the biggest LIE in christianty!

I am not saying all jews are bad people, but they are all lost unless they except JESUS!!! many are brain washed just like 99% of christianity. but the people in controll of thier gov. and thier religion are evil beyond belief. thier god is lucifer, do I have to say any more????

did you ever finnish bill coopers book? did you read the (protocals of the learned elders of the zion)???
this is litteraly thier plan! I know this because everything written there is happening in front of our eyes!!! these are the people running isreal and the world!!!

and as for attacking you that is a personal feeling on your part. I don't work on feelings. that is what leads away from GOD, I work on truths!!! if you can't except truth because it hurts your feelings, you are in big trouble! because this is nothing compared to the real attack coming from lucifer and his agents on earth!!!!

as far as you worshiping isreal ya you do! anyone who says we have to agree and defend them at all cost is a complete moron!!! they are not the chosen people, they are the rejected people!!!

I guess I have to state this once more. thier is only ONE WAY to GODS kingdom!!! not 2 or 3 or 4 ONE WAY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST ANDS HIS WAYS!!!!!!! if you can't understand this simple TRUTH you are lost???

also where in GODS word does it say anger is a sin? I don't believe it does. violence or hatred are sins but anger is not, it is something we have to controll and use for good. CHRIST and the apostles exibit anger many times in the bible are they evil??? GOD himself is angry at the world is he evil???

now jeff I can and will pray for you.

GOD in heaven have mercy on all our souls we are not perfect but we stive to be CHRIST like. show us the way!!!!!!! if it is in your will!!!amen

John, you asked: "also where in GODS word does it say anger is a sin?"

Read James 1:19-20, esp. the last sentence: "My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires." Also, read on in James chapter 3 about taming the tongue.

Colossians 4:6 instructs us to "Let your conversation be always full of grace."

Ephesians 4:2 "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."

Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Ephesians 4:31,32 "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

We will be held accountable before God for our words.

I admire that some of you are trying so hard to reach out to John, but he has posted more than enough to clearly prove he's not all there.

While it's admirable to try and reach him, please know he is exacting an opportunity cost (economic term) from you in terms of the time that you could be devoting to responding to others with a higher likelihood of payoff (salvation, understanding, etc.).

Mat 10:14
"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet."

I think it's time to shake the dust off our sandals with regard to John.

John,

I have prayed often for you, while keeping my fingers from typing out a comment. However, one comment you made stood out to me today. You asked where in the Bible it was a sin to be angry.

Ephesians 4:26 tells us, "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:"

So, yes, anger is an emotion that is not condemned in the word. That said, what we do with that anger, and how long we hold on to it can become sin if we allow it to make us lose our heads or keep it alive in our hearts (hardening them).

I'd like to recall the words of Christ (Matt. 5:22):But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

I understand that you believe JRed is heading down a path that you don't believe is of God, but to to call him names is not Godly fruit. We are to strive to produce Godly fruit of love, joy, patience, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We are even told that we will know people by the fruit they bear.

(Another note, Christ told us that they would know we were his disciples if we have love one for another...love does not diminish another to make a point.)

Your passion is admirable, it's not lukewarm. I think the delivery is what is called into question when you post your rebukes. Name calling and insults do not show self-control, love, etc.

Rebuke in Godly way should shed light on sin, and bring discerning brothers/sisters back to the righteous path, yet you should also be there with them to help them, encourage and exhort them, pray and lift them up. A rebuke can be difficult for anyone to take, yet another reason to handle the rebuke like constructive criticism. It will attack the sin, not the person.

When we attack the person, we demean the person, shut them off from hearing the true message of what we are saying. And it certainly is not glorifying to God. What a person may mean for good, when delivered in such a manner often comes off as prideful instead.

I pray that you find the words God wishes you to use and that He blesses your passion as He directs your steps.
