What We're Praying/Talking About

Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

Blood Money

My mom forwarded me a link to this trailer.

It's a hard-hitting documentary on the Abortion Industry in this country called "Blood Money" and it's scheduled for limited release in theaters this week.

I once read that if the Civil War was God's punishment for our sin of slavery, then we have no concept of what His divine judgement will look like in response to our nation's sin of legalized abortion. Here's a hint: It will be beyond awful!

Please pray for for those who are struggling with a decision they made in the past to abort their child. Please pray for those who are struggling with the decision of whether or not to abort their pregnancy right now. Please pray for God to open the hearts and minds of millions with this documentary.

What if Mary had been "pro-choice"? Can you even imagine? Yes, having a child sometimes makes life a bit harder. But, when we are living our life FOR God and no longer for ourselves, then we can easily take on additional responsibilities... even into poverty. I don't say this lightly or without compassion, however, the newborn is a gift from God. We should never take our own securities and comforts over a gift from God. If we accept this miracle with open arms, despite any hardships that may come with the baby AND give ourselves as a living sacrifice over to God, HE WILL PROVIDE!! It is this lack of faith and dependence upon ourselves that leads us to perform the unthinkable, all in the name of security. I pray for those who have had abortions or are thinking of having one in the future. Trust in God! Have the child and raise the child (or at least consider adoption). God will smile upon you and give you peace.

I can personally give a testimony about my daughter. She was told during her beginning months in her pregnancy that her child would never walk, talk or do anything due to a medical condition he had. Of course the Dr told her that her options were to have the baby or have an abortion. My daughter and her husband told the Dr there would be NO abortion. They would take this child God was giving them no matter what. I'm happy to say that her son just celebrated his 1st birthday and is doing just fine. Talking, crawling, and beginning to walk. The Dr's say he is developing normally. What if my daughter were to abort this baby? We would have never been able to enjoy this cute little one. We praise and thank God every day for His blessings with this.

Just as things happen in the physical, they happen in the spiritual parallel. There is spiritual abortion in most of the institutional churches today.
