Michael Crichton was a man who spoke the truth as often as he was given the chance to. I had no idea how brilliant this man was let alone how steadfast he was since he never wavered; not even in the face of public outrage that was normally stacked against him for his politically incorrect views.
This is an excellent 10-minute commentary against Environmentalism and the "Green Movement" infecting the hearts and minds of millions today. The comments are from best-selling Author Michael Crichton back in 2005 discussing his reluctance to accept some of today's pop science conclusions.
I especially like this next one called "States of Fear: Science or Politics?", which encourages people to THINK FOR THEMSELVES rather than simply swallowing everything that's fed to them, hook, line, and sinker.
Last but not least, the next time you turn on the news or pick up a newspaper try to pay attention to the "language of fear" being used. First and foremost, I shouldn't have to remind anyone that FEAR is a tool of Satan. He seeks to prey on our emotions and use them against us. I wanted to post these clips because they speaks to EVERYTHING I'm constantly trying to get people to see -- intellectual bias as it exists in the Public School System and across College and University campuses throughout America, media bias from the mainstream national media outlets, and political correctness and its corruption of the hearts and minds of men and women for decades.

Always seek the truth in all things for yourself. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and He will.
On a quick side note, given all the time we spend observing pop culture and the various examples of Synchro-Pop (a.k.a. real life parables), it's also interesting to point out how Crichton is famous for for SEVERAL best-selling novels and blockbuster films.
Ironically, for a man who once lectured against playing the politics of fear he certainly made a handsome career off of generating fear through his own fantastic creations.
Yep, Crichton was a man who spoke the truth. Sadly, I couldn't find this influential man saying anything on the Truth as embodied in Jesus Christ.
