Which Applies To You? - Notable Quotable

"If we are daily concerned in seeking to please God in all the details, great and small, of our lives, He will not leave us in ignorance of His will concerning us. But if we are accustomed to gratify self and only turn up to God for help in times of difficulty and emergency, then we must not be surprised if he mocks us and allows us to reap the fruits of our folly."

Amen! Jeff, this is to you and all our brethren out there. I was listening to this while doing the dishes and felt like sharing it all around. May GOD's blessing and peace, His presence, His tender compassionate care, encase you today. May you know Him intimately in the core of your hearts. Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us! amen

We are more sinful than not and to think otherwise is folly. Plus I would sound pious if to say so.

That quote says it all. To many times people run to God when something terrible happens to them but don't know Him otherwise. I admit I was the same before I was saved. But thankfully when I ran to Him I ended up staying.
