After some of the feedback I received in response to recent posts, as well as some comments that were made during and following last night's broadcast of Right Now Radio, I felt it was necessary to make a few statements of my own so that there's no confusion about me and where I stand on all of this.
It's no secret that the past few days has seen a focus on Symbolism as it exists in Art, Current Events, Hollywood, Music Industry, and Pop Culture. Look Up Fellowship has never been reserved when it comes to sharing our thoughts on such things that we believe MIGHT BE ripe with prophetic symbolism.
Now, when we make such a statement here's what we mean: The perceived symbolism POSSIBLY confirms and/or supports what we already know from Scripture about what's going to happen during the end times.
Now, when we make such a statement here's what we DO NOT mean: The perceived symbolism is the starting point, and we'll try to make the Word of God conform to it rather than the other way around.
Have we been guilty of doing things the wrong way in the past? Absolutely! Am I flippant or proud about that? Absolutely not! Lord, have mercy on me and forgive me for my sins.
But that's only a part of what these studies are typically about especially the last few over this past week or two. I think some people are missing the critical point to all of this, which means I'm probably doing a poor job communicating it up until now.
The point is that if Hollywood, the Music Industry, and Pop Culture is beholden to Satan since their very inception (and he's using them to advance his agenda to infect hearts and minds in preparation for what's to come), then we are obligated to perform studies like these to try and help prevent the deception for being successful. It's like performing a "Scouting Report" on our common enemy as opposed to "Gospel truth", right?
Getting a "Scouting Report" on Satan and exposing his sinister schemes wherever we find them in order to help prevent people from be deceived by him is PRECISELY what we're instructed to do in Ephesians 5:11 and Matthew 10:16. That's what these studies are all about. No, it's not for everyone, but we always report these things not in any kind of spirit of fear (or to generate such), but to simply say, "Hey! This is what Satan wants to do to you! How blessed are we that we have Jesus Christ and we know that even though Satan and his minions will attempt this they will not be victorious in the end even if there are for a season!"
Look, God's Word is our anchor, our foundation, our rock. These studies don't change any of that. If anything, they merely further point out how close we are to the prophesied end because Satan is ramping up his efforts, and he's doing it all in full view these days as opposed to under the cover of darkness.

Well said Jeff. And we need to take GMRs words seriously that the enemy would cause confusion, distraction and malice. Thus, we need to cover this site in prayer!
I think also too, what people are doing on your site is 'exploring' without guilt. Paul commended the Bereans for questioning him about JESUS. So we too should explore without 'false' guilt. Yes, definitly cover ourselves in prayer and our spiritual armor.
We all tend to have a priori view (A priori knowledge or justification is independent of experience) of things, passed down from our parents or schooling. But I think we should 'own' what we know, what we've experienced and what we are learning from the Scriptures! And knowing isn't everything; it is applying what we know and what we are learning to our very life/living.
Having been saved by grace through faith out of a false religion and wild lifestyle, I see how satan uses mediums of religion, art, music, movies etc to 'speak' lies to the masses. I agree that as of late, a strong message of the coming anti christ/false messiah is resounding in all forms/mediums, in churches with false doctrines (yes Protestant churches too) and even in the very hearts of people. (For in the last days, mens hearts will grow cold.)

I am surprised that you haven't touched on the gigantic holes that have appeared around the world. The most recent in Guatamala City. It looks fake! But it is real and swallowed a huge building.
I wonder if up from these holes will come the creatures from the Abyss. Or perhapse even a beast or two..that would certainly explain the awe factor....
I understand what you are saying in your post. For me though, there is so much information out there on what Satan is doing..it is very distracting as a believer. It is kind of the Alex Jones Factor. I used to listen to him and even believe that he might be a Christian...but all he talked about was what WE can do to thwart the plans of the evil people. If he has read the Bible, he should know that NOTHING we do will stop them because God is allowing them. God also specifically says that they will not be allowed to do things to hasten the end, that it will be held back until the time appointed. I find that comforting. God is saying that He is in control no matter what.
So you see when I look at these websites and watch other Christians dissect occultic things..I linger on the occultic. I don't see anywhere that God tells me to do this. He tells us to be simple concerning evil.
I am not saying not to scream "HEY THIS IS AN EVENT HERE FULFILLING PROPHECY" But to spend time researching the occult and evil is very bad for me.
I don't care what they are doing, God is aware. I need to be about my Father's business.
Jesus never went around exposing the Jews and those who were going to put Him to death. He went around preaching the gospel. Peter tried to stop things and Jesus rebuked him. God is always in control. I am not worried about my enemy because he has already lost.
But yes, it helps to provide a means for others to come out of deception...so there is some kind of tight rope to walk here. I don't know
