What We're Praying/Talking About

Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

C.H. Spurgeon - Notable Quotables

I love these which I saw earlier today on another blog...

"God never clothes men until He has first stripped them, nor does He quicken them by the gospel till first they are slain by the Law. When you meet with persons in whom there is no trace of conviction of sin, you may be quite sure that they have not been wrought upon by the Holy Spirit; for ‘when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.’"
-C.H. Spurgeon

"I would not give a penny for your love of truth if it is not accompanied with a hearty hatred of error."
- C.H. Spurgeon

JRed, if I'm not mistaken, I believe those fishermen were interviewed and on either Fox or CNN either today-Tues, July 20 or yesterday or the day before. I am looking back to find it. It would be interesting to see what they say about your hypothesis regarding the blue beams and such.

JRed, why don't you contact those gentlement-the fishermen-Ryan Chaisson, Wes Bourg, Dustin King, and Albert Andry who made that video. I would really like to hear what each personally have to say about that now.

Fisherman video from May 16, 2010. They don't mention the blue beams in this one or they were edited out. Editing was my best guess.

Amen and amen. And this should hold true to believers who have walked with GOD for some time. Do you still cry or get emotional at the thought that our LORD died for you? Do you get sick at your stomach because its been revealed to you that you have not obeyed the LORD or please HIM in an area? There is no end to the examination of the heart that HE will perform if you are HIS. So whe we meet with other believers is there a sense together that 'yes I still need work' "I am not 'there' yet"... amen

CNN interview from July 5, 2010 of the three fishermen. No mention of the blue beams but I'm sure again it was edited out.

Chillingly though, one of them said at the very end, this was his 911.

Contact them to clear your hypothesis..............

If Andersen Cooper can find them, surely LUF can. :)

Do we have a responsibility to understand Prophecy. I believe we do. Read this article and understand why. God bless.

Anonymous,

So true, and that article you referenced beautifully captures the truth of the matter.

In fact, it's because I had noticed other Christians ignoring and minimizing prophecy that I felt compelled to start this blog almost 2 years ago now.

Of course, we know who was REALLY behind such a desire (Proverbs 16:9).

Another whale tale! 40ft whale lands on a boat.

Sorry but the "blue beams" ARE just camera lens artifacts, as shown clearly later in the video where they appear flat across the water in exactly the same orientation as in the sky, demonstrating it is a lens artifact and not an actual light source.

Why are these comments appearing here on this post instead of on the one that it should?

Please make sure your comments match the right thread so that we can have a proper discussion.

That being said, Anonymous, you might want to read the comments for the actual article you're referring to because there is a pretty sound rebuttal I think.

Sorry, jred the reason the comments are appearing her is because either I'm stupid or my computer resets your more recent post, even if you post two a day. Got to either stop posting or not hit the back button. Can't decide which? Hmm.

Now it's asking me to type in a weird word "ascre" I think that is not good.

"God never clothes men until He has first stripped them” – C. H. Spurgeon

Charles Stanley’s daily devotional for today July 22, 2010 expounds on the above quote:

“Hurt and despair often strip away the ‘props’ we depend on and expose our need for a Savior. Man’s weakness is a showcase for God’s strength..”.

Happy Sunday - I just had to share this magnificent, uplifting sermon here from my old church - Times Square Church in NYC, founded by David Wilkerson:

18-Jul-2010 The Supernatural Hand of Faith - Carter Conlon

Are you not writing new articles anymore?

Just curious since it's been about 5 days.

Jeffrey K Radt ("JRed") said...

Don't worry my friend. New articles coming in a matter of hours. No, I just felt the Lord drawing me away from all the "distractions" like this blog and the 3 podcasts (which is why there haven't been any shows this past week either), and putting me in the Word and in fellowship with Him instead. He's working out something amazing in my life right now and perhaps I'll share it with all of you one day soon. Thanks for your concern. God bless!

In Christ,
