What We're Praying/Talking About

Our faith in action, or our small contribution in trying to apply what we're taught in Hebrews 5-6 and James 2:17-26 for the benefit of our dear brothers and sisters within the Body of Christ...

Hostility - Notable Quotable

How true is this?

"There is a deep-seated hatred for God and His law in the heart of every lost man. It is for this reason that 'those who are in the flesh cannot please God.' In the religious man this enmity is often well hidden, but under the right circumstances it will lash out viciously."

This is also true for believers Jeff. As we know that we all struggle and fall short of the glory of GOD. This is why GODLY sorrow works out true repentance. The difference between the religious man and the man in relationship with GOD is his oil in his lamp. When I am weak, HE is strong. GOD judges/examines our hearts so extensively some times, it may feel as though we are going to die! The world may never truly know the difference between a true believer and a counterfiet Christian, but what really matters is how you are responding to the Spirit of GOD. Yes, I believe we are all given a chance(s)/circumstance(s) that will try our hearts and character.

I chose to post here for all, rather than by e-mail to you.
This site is important. We all need to share and to relate and to bond in the Spirit of the Word of the Lord Jesus.
Most of us know, when we try to spread what we have learned and how much we grow in Christ, we are met with derision. Criticism. Treated as though we have gone over the edge. Yet, was not the Christ treated the same from his own home community?
Recieved as some upstart who thought who he was. There is truly no account of his childhood. Why? Could it have been destroyed to avoid revealing he was a real human being? A child who actually may have played a prank or two in his youth with others his age and as we all have done? Could it have been he was raised within a a community of Faith which went counter to the accepted path at the time, and therefore, when He began His ministry, this attributed to the hometown treating him like a nut? Have we not all, at one point in our past, knew of a family that was called 'different', and we treated with some distance?
These are times which call our attention to prophecy. The word of God given to a chosen few to give to the people. Amd most of us know, telling our 'home' what we believe and what we see and hear, all to often results in being derided as nuts as well.
Now it is our time. As Jesus had His, we now have ours. To receive the Word of He whom we call Lord and Savior, and speak that which we believe we are hearing for the benefit of those who will listen. Because IF, they listen at all, it is because they too, know intuitively, something is wrong, and there has to be more to this world than what we were raised to accept. The work Jeff does here is a value to all. I thank Jeff, and others he works and shares with, for their efforts. More than anything, they seek not to frighten but to strengthen.
Fear cannot always be avoided. It is an integral factor of human nature, which is why the Word of God is to be WITH Him, and thereby not know fear. There are moments when I feel silly seeing myself running to Him and grabbing Him by the leg as a child will to a parent when scared, but that is the truth of the matter. HE IS my protector.
