Well, this is an interesting bit of news I came across from just a few days ago.
A UK think-tank called "Demos" ("the people" and root word of "democracy") has released a study titled "The Power of Unreason", which is their analysis of and recommendations for silencing "dangerous" conspiracy theorists.
Demos Report: "The Power of Unreason" (PART 1)
Demos Report: "The Power of Unreason" (PART 2)
Demos Report: "The Power of Unreason" (PART 3)
Demos Report: "The Power of Unreason" (PART 4)
Demos Report: "The Power of Unreason" (PART 5)
My favorite part was this...
Sadly, there was no expose done on "The Weather Underground", which we all know has ties to the current US administration. I don't want to get too sidetracked here, but in case you're unfamiliar with them and one of their leaders (Bill Ayers), and not sure why that should even concern us, then please listen to this...
FBI Agent Talking About Bill Ayers
In the interest of being "fair and balanced" here, I should point out that the Demos think-tank did respond to the outrage over their publication.
But that wasn't it! Right on cue, the Department of Justice (DOJ) released a new report that promotes this very same notion that we are a "threat" to humanity...
DOJ Defines Constitutionalists As 'Terrorists'
(Starts at 5:30 mark)
Hmmm...Does all of this sound like the BEGINNING of anything we read in the Bible about the end times and the coming persecution? You bet it does...
Now, have a look and a listen to this...
Dangerous Conspiracy Theorists (And How To Shut Them Up)
Even though the man depicted in the above video expresses his concerns and fears over all of this doesn't mean that we should respond the same way especially since we identify ourselves as Christians. Let's remember...
Also, please don't fall for the lie that just because this is a report that came out in the UK that it's somehow Europe's problem only.
In fact, one of the Czars appointed by President Obama, Cass Sunstein, feels EXACTLY THE SAME WAY, and his comments that are on the record echo the ones made in this think-tank's report.
Besides, go back an re-read Revelation 13:7 cited above. It says that the one who is given the power to make war with the saints will be able to exert that power over the entire world. That should shatter any notions that this is a "regional" problem and not one that will affect us here in the US.
It's coming folks. We're running out of time to spiritually prepare, which is why we need to turn off the TV, put aside any leisure pursuits, and pursue Jesus Christ and a clear understanding of His promises for us in the event that we'll need to rest in Him and on them in the very near future.
Keep looking up!

"We have conducted new analysis of the literature, ideology and propaganda of over 50 extremist groups from across the spectrum: religious, far-right and left, eco, anarchic, and cult-based. The groups are or were active over the past 30 years, and are drawn mainly from the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States."

Jeff, you had better watch out. You're one of them dangerous conspiracy theorists! Seriously, I had tried looking for your name and LUF on the DoJ's terrorist dictionary. I didn't find it.
Jeff, Dangerous conspiracy theorists, radical extremists! They left out harmless as doves. Sounds like calling evil good and good evil. I agree with you Jeff it does seem to be heading to some very bad times.
