World War III Imminent? Prophecies And Rumors

Have any of you seen this yet? Is this a prophecy about a coming new Korean War?

Apparently, it was given on June 10th, 2010 (although it looked like it was June 30th in the video graphic to me) in Dusan, South Korea. Either way, take a look at this...

Anyone know who the man is who's relaying this "prophecy"? By the way, I put the word prophecy in quotes because there's no way to know for sure right now whether or not that's what this is.

Let's remember the following from the Scriptures...

Acts 2:17 (KJV) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Joel 2:28 (KJV) And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

I think both verses should prompt us to at least prayerfully consider his words. Don't you?

It's compelling given what's going on off the coast of the Korean Peninsula right now. Plus, the USS George Washington is in the Yellow Sea conducting military exercises with the South Korean Navy right now as you already know.

If a new Korean War is in our near future, then you better believe that the Chinese will become involved. For all we know, any "incident" that leads to a "regional war" in the Koreas could quite conceivably lead to World War III and the fulfillment of end times Bible prophecy for sure.

There's something else about that man's "prophecy" that caught my attention. Remember when he was talking about seeing a missile launched from truck? That seems to go hand-in-hand with this news (or was it more "Predictive Programming"?) from back in August 2010...

Chinese 'Carrier-Killer' Missile Could Reshape Sea Combat

China is developing an unprecedented new missile that is designed to be launched from land with enough accuracy to penetrate the defenses of even the most advanced moving aircraft carrier from a distance of more than 900 miles, sources say.

Initial reports on the new missile suggest it could reshape conflicts at sea, but U.S. weapons experts told FoxNews.com that it's no game-changer, nor a revolutionary threat to America's aircraft carriers -- which are the center of U.S. Pacific defense strategy.

"Some have called it a game-changer. I would dispute that claim," said Toshi Yoshihara, an associate professor at the U.S. Naval War College.

When complete, the Dong Feng 21D -- a version of which was displayed last year in a Chinese military parade -- would give China the ability to reach and hit U.S. aircraft carriers well before the U.S. can get close enough to the mainland to hit back.

A nuclear bomb could theoretically sink a carrier, too, assuming its sender was willing to raise the stakes to atomic levels. The conventionally armed DF 21D's uniqueness is its ability to hit a powerfully defended moving target with pinpoint precision.

"The emerging Chinese anti-ship missile capability, and in particular the DF 21D, represents the first post-Cold War capability that is both potentially capable of stopping our naval power projection -- and deliberately designed for that purpose," said Patrick Cronin, senior director of the Asia-Pacific Security Program at the nonpartisan, Washington-based Center for a New American Security.

(*NOTE: The first time this new weapon found its way into the mainstream was actually several months earlier in March 2010, and the US has know this was China's goal since the 1990s! Oh yeah, and COMPLETELY CONTRARY to the above report from "Faux News" in August that said the new "Carrier Killer Missile" hadn't been tested yet, we find the opposite is true as far back as March 29th, 2010! China Testing Ballistic Missile ‘Carrier-Killer’

Last week, Adm. Robert Willard, the head of U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM), made an alarming but little-noticed disclosure. China, he told legislators, was “developing and testing a conventional anti-ship ballistic missile based on the DF-21/CSS-5 [medium-range ballistic missile] designed specifically to target aircraft carriers.”

What, exactly, does this mean? Evidence suggests that China has been developing an anti-ship ballistic missile, or ASBM, since the 1990s. But this is the first official confirmation that it has advanced (.pdf) to the stage of actual testing.

If they can be deployed successfully, Chinese anti-ship ballistic missiles would be the first capable of targeting a moving aircraft-carrier (.pdf) strike group from long-range, land-based mobile launchers. And if not countered properly, this and other “asymmetric” systems — ballistic and cruise missiles, submarines, torpedoes and sea mines — could potentially threaten U.S. operations in the western Pacific, as well as in the Persian Gulf.

Willard’s disclosure should come as little surprise: China’s interest in developing ASBM and related systems has been documented in Department of Defense (.pdf) and National Air and Space Intelligence Center (.pdf) reports, as well as by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) and the Congressional Research Service. Senior officials — including Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair (.pdf) and Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Gary Roughead — have pointed to the emerging threat as well.

In November 2009, Scott Bray, ONI’s Senior Intelligence Officer-China, said that Chinese anti-ship ballistic missile development “has progressed at a remarkable rate.” In the span of just over a decade, he said, “China has taken the ASBM program from the conceptual phase to nearing an operational capability.… China has elements of an [over-the-horizon] network already in place and is working to expand its horizon, timeliness and accuracy.”

When someone of Bray’s stature makes that kind of statement, attention is long overdue.

Well, isn't that something, huh?

Just to emphasize the reality of this newest threat by China, I want to also share with you the following November 2009 video that the above Wired article referenced later on in its expose.

The Chinese media depicted the capability of this Carrier Killer Missile for all to see when they broadcast on China Central Television Channel 7 (China’s official military channel) an unexplained -- and rather badly animated and lengthy -- cartoon sequence about anti-ship Ballistic Missiles.

This curious cartoon features a sailor who falsely assumes that his carrier’s Aegis Defense Systems can destroy an incoming ASBM as effectively as a Cruise Missile, with disastrous results.

Yes, I get that that video comes from the official Military Channel in China. I also understand that China has a tightly controlled state-run media whose goal is to provide some intense forms of propaganda, even more so than our own agenda-driven, biased national media.

Even so, you gotta admit that it adds to the developing narrative of what MIGHT BE COMING upon the world in the form of World War III, or the precise fulfillment of end times Bible prophecy.

WikiLeaks Row: China Wants Korean Reunification, Officials Confirm

Chinese officials speak after Guardian US embassy cables reveal Beijing is leaning towards acceptance of reunification under Seoul's control.

China supports the "independent and peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula" and cannot afford to give the North Korean regime the impression it has a blank cheque to act any way it wants, Chinese officials based in Europe said today.

The officials, who asked not to be identified, spoke after the Guardian revealed that senior figures in Beijing, exasperated with North Korea behaving like a "spoiled child", had told their South Korean counterparts that China was leaning towards acceptance of reunification under Seoul's control.

China's moves to distance itself from the North Korean regime were revealed in the latest tranche of leaked US embassy cables obtained by WikiLeaks and published yesterday by the Guardian and four international newspapers.

One Chinese official said today reunification was not going to happen overnight and China's first priority was to calm down the situation, restart a dialogue, and maintain stability in the region. But Beijing had always backed peaceful reunification as a longer term goal.

Well, well, well. Isn't that something too? Funny how life imitates art lately, huh?

At the very least, put these various news items on your spiritual radar and take it to the Lord in prayerful consideration. Pray for His protection, and spiritually prepare while you still can.

Matthew 24:6 (KJV) You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Regardless of what does or doesn't happen between the US, the Koreas, China, and the rest of the world -- whether this all turns out to be the "fulfillment of a specific prophecy given in June 2010" or nothing more than more "international rumors" designed to cause fear and mass panic -- we need to rely on the truth of Scripture verses like the one from Matthew listed above.

His Word is sure and true. When we can't see God's hands at work in this world (or think we don't see them), then that's when we need to simply trust His Word and not our own eyes, ears, and intellect.

Besides, we know what we have to do, don't we?

Repent! Judgment is coming!
