I hate Satan!

Sitting here today, I began thinking about that piece from yesterday titled "Satan Becoming Bolder" and another thought occurred to me.

He must be feeling rather invincible at the moment (or maybe he knows his time to rule this world with an iron fist through the Antichrist is close at hand) because it just dawned on me how "in-our-faces" he's been with his mockery of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ this week.

Last night, the History Channel asked: "Does the Shroud of Turin show the 'real face of Jesus'?". Today, many seekers of the truth who remain unsaved are asking: "Are all Christians wacky militia members like those arrested over the weekend?".

So, when the Body of Christ is just days away from meditating on the eternal significance of the "Passion of Jesus Christ" -- His arrest, trial, torture, crucifixion, and resurrection all on our behalf -- Satan is succeeding in getting the rest of the world to refrain from considering this holiday as truly being demonstrative of the free gift that is still available to them, and is instead getting them to ask if the "passion of all Christians" is to believe in "crazy stuff" and to want to kill those who disagree with them.

When did we become Jihadists and when have we ever called/treated those who disagree with us as infidels? Folks, the prophesied persecution which is a hallmark of the end times is on its way for sure. How can there be any doubt about that when we're witnessing a world that is calling us the enemy when their are millions out there who are killing and decapitating all in the name of their god?

It makes me angry! It makes me sick! Lord, please shield the hearts and minds of those who haven't returned to you yet so that Satan cannot place his death grip on them!

It's so sad to think about how deluded the unbelieving world is at the moment. To call them "delusional" seems laughable to them I'm sure, but that doesn't mean it's not true. When I surfed over to The Huffington Post (I know, I know, I was "asking for it" by going there willingly) to see what the general sentiment is about all of this from a group where the majority does not believe in God, my heart broke.

These are some excerpts from one article that appeared there today:

> Like many of us, I was horrified but not shocked by news of the heretofore obscure Hutaree militia and their plans to foment an uprising in Michigan. Instead of waiting for the "end-times," these rapture-ready militias seem bent on making them come early.

> It would be nice if the militias were an isolated example of periodic Christian fanaticism, but this kind of extremist religiosity has been wreaking havoc on the world for centuries. A short list would include the Inquisition, slavery, the genocide of native populations in the Americas, and the legacy of African colonialism. It's enough to make one wonder if far from being distortions of the Christian message, these horrors represent the inevitable consequence of a religion whose central symbol -- the cross -- represents one of the most unpleasant and cruel tortures that can be inflicted.

> I used to think, like Oscar Wilde, that the idea of a man dying to take on the sins of the world was the ultimate work of art. Now it seems rather grandiose, a delusion that would land someone in the psych ward. There is nothing inherently redemptive about a violent end to a sacred life. What Christians have done to try to make the suffering of Jesus meaningful is to glorify it. This, unfortunately, bleeds into a fetishization of violence itself.

> There is nothing to glorify in the ugly death of Jesus. Suffering is not inherently ennobling, even if, as in childbirth, it's necessary and even tolerable given the result. Redemption does not come in the afterlife; it comes right here on earth, in the practice of a millions forms of kindness. It certainly does not come at the end of a gun barrel.

In hindsight, and in all fairness though, there were some important truths contained in that same commentary that struck a chord with me because it was spot on. Here's that section:

The most chilling excerpts from their manifesto invoke the perpetual emphasis on violence as a vehicle to "defend" Jesus. They seem to believe with complete sincerity that if Christ were here today, he'd be carrying an Uzi and be ready to lead a bloody overthrow of the government. I truly wonder if these fanatics have stopped reading the Gospels every night and just watch an endless loop of The Passion of the Christ.

Condescending and mocking tone aside, the point about those "Christians" who are more like the Hutaree Militia members is a fair one. They have stopped reading the Gospels.

The irony, however, is in the fact that this observation is coming from someone who writes for an online news service that is typically more anti-Christian in its views than it is pro-Christian, which leads me to wonder how many of The Huffington Post readers (let alone its writers) ever even read the Gospels at all themselves. But I digress.

You know, I've often wondered how many people come to Christ during Easter. When you think about it, it seems like if there was ever a good time to talk to people about the Gospel, if there was ever a good time to impress upon the lost, unsaved world who Jesus was and what He really did for us, then Easter would be the time to make that powerful impression.

If that assumption is correct, then it pains me to see Satan ramping up his efforts just days before what is commonly thought to be the most important time of the year for those of us who are praying that we might be put in a position to reach the lost with Jesus' free gift of salvation.

The worst part? Instead of the focus being on Jesus Christ Himself and of having people ask themselves and others, "What is this Passion of Jesus Christ all about anyway?", we have those same people shifting their focus and asking, "What is the passion of all Christians anyway?".

Thus, Satan has succeeded in getting them to place their focus during this Easter season on the Christian (on fallen man himself!) and not on the Lord and Savior (Jesus Christ) where it belongs this time of year!

You wanna know what the "real" face of Jesus looks like? Here's a start...

> Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and
experience God's love and plan for your life.

> The face of Jesus is portrayed as The Messiah, The Prince of Peace, The Word Made Man, Lord and Savior, The King of Kings, The Lion of Judah, The Lamb of God.

> He dies in our place.
"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)

> He rose from the dead.
"Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures...He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-6)

> He is the ONLY way to God.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me'" (John 14:6)

Shall we continue? We could go on and on if we have to.

Yes, I hate Satan -- especially lately! Yet, nothing he does this time of year will lessen my love for my Lord and Savior.

If anything, it will only serve to strengthen it and motivate me to want to worship and praise Him that much more.

Media's Double Standard Is Sickening

I'm so glad I saw this courtesy of The Family Research Council because it underscores the gross hypocrisy that we are bombarded with constantly from the mainstream media.

Now, I realize perfectly well that saying that the "mainstream media is biased" is so played out already (at least to those of us who are Bible believing Christians). That's not who this post is for.

No, this post is for those people who still think that such a claim has no basis in fact and that there are just as many "conservative" and "right" leaning mainstream news outlets as there are "liberal" and "left" leaning ones.

If you're one of those types of people and you just happened to stumble across this page today I want to welcome you to the truth that will surely set you free (assuming you are an independent, objective thinker). If you know one of those types of people, then by all means please forward this link to them, or click the "Save As A PDF File" button and print off a copy to share with them right away.

First, an essential bit of background info to help lay the proper foundation before we continue. Please take a moment to read one of the first entries on this blog way back in December 2008 titled "Journalism 101" because I cannot stress enough how important it is for all of us -- whether we're currently Christians saved by grace through faith or not -- to learn how to properly digest any and all information that is presented to us as "truth" in this Age of Deceit.

Here's a brief excerpt:

...it's not so much a "cheat sheet" as it is a "warning label" on how one should consume media, but specifically how one should consume anything that's presented to us as "news" and "factual" information - TEST EVERYTHING FOR YOURSELF BY DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH TO SUPPORT OR REFUTE!!!

Bottom line, I will defer to Todd Strandberg of Rapture Ready who wrote it best, "The liberal media is not only the devil's best device for corrupting human society; it's his most diabolical device. The finger of blame is rarely ever pointed at the liberal media for society's ills. This is because the press is in charge of fixing the blame. Letting the liberal media decide if it’s partly to blame for our country's moral decline is like putting tobacco companies in charge of finding out what causes lung cancer...The liberal media will be a substantial player in end-time events. When the Antichrist finally does come to power, the liberal media will be tripping over itself to report his every word. The values that the press currently portrays will perfectly match the values of the forthcoming Antichrist. It will be love at first sight. The liberal media's final act will be to broadcast the hatred of the Jews and nonconforming Christians. Even today, these two groups are constantly reported about a negative bias. As we draw closer to the tribulation, the negative media coverage will only increase."

Well, well, well. If that doesn't sound like the present day, then I don't know what does. How can any skeptic or fence-sitter possibly deny that?

The media's approach to covering the news -- subjective rather than objective -- is absolutely disgusting, and then they wonder why their industry is in serious decline. Hmmm, maybe it's because this bias, when coupled with another disturbing trend specific to their industry, creates a perfect storm where their worldwide mission statement is "perception is reality".

Even so, there are still far too many people in this world who believe anything and everything that's given to them by the "journalists" and talking heads, so I felt it was necessary to call this what it is at its most basic level -- DECEPTION AT ITS WORST!

Ok, so why am I writing about this subject today? Because on the heels of yesterday's column that commented on the media's swift response to the "Christian terrorist militia" that was arrested in this country over the weekend, this will clearly demonstrate how the media only reports on the facts only as much as it helps to advance their own agenda.

The FRC pointed out how in the final hours of the health care debate, much was made over insults which were hurled at those members of Congress responsible for the massive government takeover. There was a clear effort to make the Democratic members, who supported the President's health care takeover, seem like "victims" who were taking principled stances for the people.

The media was also quick to report word from Democratic leaders that 10 of their members had been victims of threats and acts of vandalism, which are inappropriate and have no place in civil discourse.

Meanwhile, House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and his family were the targets of a death threat for which a Philadelphia man was arrested on Monday. To reiterate, Cantor is a Republican. How would the media handle a similar story, but one that involves a Republican as opposed to their beloved Democrats?

The question was rhetorical because we should all know the answer to that question by now. So, what happened? Well, while the media reported the threat against Rep. Cantor, they didn't point out that the suspect, Norman Leboon, claimed on his YouTube website that he is the "Messiah" of "gays and lesbians" and asks his homosexual "children" to leave the armed forces so that he might "smite" those remaining! But they just can't wait to hit us with headlines that include the words "Christian terrorists" to plant subconscious seeds of fear and hate.

Wait a minute! I thought that only Christians were terrorists? I mean, after all, we're the ones "terrorizing" homosexuals with the Word of God, right? Surely, this is a misprint by the FRC because I have a hard time believing that anyone would go after a Republican like this. These types of things always happen to Democrats -- not Republicans -- because they're the ones that have to always look over their shoulder for backwards, neanderthal, uneducated Christian terrorists who don't practice what they preach. Besides, I thought the homosexual movement is all about "tolerance" so, again, this doesn't make any sense because this guy certainly wasn't tolerant of Mr Cantor! There's no way this could've possibly happened either because I didn't see it on ABC, CBS, or NBC let alone CNN or MSNBC. If it were true I would've seen it there, or in my local newspaper along with all the other stories about Democrats being threatened.

In case you're new to this forum you should know that I'm being sarcastic. Hopefully, such sarcasm is helping you start to see and get a sense of the undisputed double standard that exists within the mainstream media.

I'm willing to bet that most people are like me and that this is the first time you're hearing about those details because of the sources we use to get our news. Therein lies the problem.

Let's be crystal clear about this about this -- this was not an insignificant omission. There is a clear pattern of intimidation that comes from many homosexual activists, but the media rarely reports on it with the same vigor and intensity as when they target Christians. For some reason (actually, we already know the reasons why), a Christian who merely prays in protest is more "threatening" and "controversial" and worthy of a front page news story, than those homosexuals who actually engage in acts of violence as a form of protest.

Don't get me wrong, there are "bad apples" in both groups I'm sure, and I know that one bad apple doesn't poison the entire apple cart, but there are far more cases like this one involving Cantor than there are like those involving a "Christian terrorist militia" as it's been reported.

Are you having trouble accepting my claim that there is a clear pattern of intimidation that comes from many homosexual activists, but that the media rarely reports on it? You shouldn't. In fact, the U.S. Supreme Court will take up the issue next month in a case that springs from the Washington State ballot measure to protect marriage.

As they have in Massachusetts, California, and elsewhere, homosexual activists in Washington State resorted to "civic terrorism" to intimidate those who signed the ballot measure. The question in this case is whether or not those who sign can do so without their names being publicly released.

What is civic terrorism? Things like vandalism, disrupting church services, ripping a cross from an old lady's front lawn. In some documented cases, they even contacted the media AHEAD OF TIME so that they would cover the incident and all their depravity that crosses the line between generally accepted protest and criminal behavior.

The evidence is mounting that those who are trumpeting the call for tolerance, have little tolerance for those they disagree with. Sadly, the media does absolutely nothing to provide us with an objective look at that reality.

Fortunately, things continue to go as planned and outlined in God's Word. Rest in Him through fellowship and supplication. Keep looking up!

Did anyone else notice the strange sequence of events where on one day it was reported that...

Ancient Doorway To Afterlife Discovered In Egypt

CAIRO (AFP) – A large red granite false door from the tomb of an ancient queen's powerful vizier has been discovered in Luxor, Egypt's culture minister said on Monday.

The carved stone door -- which ancient Egyptians believed was the threshold to the afterlife -- was unearthed near the Karnak Temple in Luxor and belongs to the tomb of User, a powerful advisor to the 18th dynasty Queen Hatshepsut, Faruk Hosni said in a statement.

The door, 1.75 metres (5.7 feet) high and 50 cm (19 inches) thick, is engraved with religious texts and various titles used by User, including mayor of the city, vizier and prince, antiquities chief Zahi Hawass was quoted as saying.

...and then the next day we read the strange story about the mysterious shipment of 7 heads and a torso that were shipped to a medical waste company in Kansas City.

First, my initial thoughts. I wondered if this was any kind of of "warning" of what's to come. Why? Well, hopefully, the inferred symbolism inherent in these two random but nationally reported stories is obvious:

In the Book of Revelation Satan is described as having 7 heads and 10 horns. In Revelation 12 he is called the dragon with 7 heads and 10 horns. In Revelation 13 and 17 he is called the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns.

In each case the Bible is describing the same being. Whenever you see a creature in the Bible with 7 heads and 10 horns you can know immediately that it is talking about Satan. Notice that the great Red Dragon with 7 heads and 10 horns is also called Satan, the Devil, and the Serpent of old. These are all different names for the same Fallen Angel.

Surely, we know what's going to happen in a general sense based on the Word of God, but the specifics (i.e. the exact series and sequence of events that leads to the fulfillment of major end times prophecies) are unknown to us at this time. That's why I began to wonder if these two prominent news stories contained any kind of "warning" to those of us with ears to hear and eyes to see.

This is in the realm of PURE SPECULATION on my part, but worthy of at least putting on our spiritual radar since it bears watching in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Here's a quick breakdown of what I'm wondering and will be taking to the Lord in prayer.

Not surprisingly, there's a connection between the Egyptian Queen mentioned in that story about the ancient doorway to the afterlife and Sekhmet who has appeared in this forum several times before! In fact, take a look at this study on the Book of Mark from just a couple of weeks ago and how the creature came up in that discussion quite prominently. The implications are obvious once you take the time to read it.

Now, looking at that story about the 7 heads and torso, as previously mentioned, how can we not instantly think of the verses in Scripture found in the Book of Revelation that describe Satan? I did a little digging and realized that it was not Kansas City, Missouri where this occurred, but actually Kansas City, Kansas.

There are a couple of facts about Kansas City (the state of Kansas version) that should immediately resonate with us given the spiritual climate we find ourselves in today. Have a look:

> Did you know that the city is part of what's called the "Unified Government"?

> Kansas City, Kansas, is often abbreviated as "KCK". It is also nicknamed the "Heart of America" because it is within 250 miles (400 km) of both the geographic and population centers of the United States.

> Another nickname is "The Dot", or "The Dotte", which derives from the name of Wyandotte County. That made me think of Matthew 5:18 and Luke 16:17.

> Oh yeah, the area was also the first battlefield in the conflict over slavery and southern secession that led to the American Civil War.

> Not modern enough for ya? Here's another eye-popping fact. The Kansas City metro area has been a locale for Hollywood productions and television programming. Most notably, the 1983 television movie The Day After was filmed in Kansas City metro area and Lawrence, Kansas.

> As if all of that weren't enough to blow your mind, I learned that the MoKan area was also subject to flooding, including what was called the "Great Flood of 1951" and the "Great Flood of 1993"! How fitting, isn't it?

At this point, I asked myself (just like in all the other times past), what the odds are of all of this being just "mere coincidence", which I don't believe they are. I look at these two news stories -- only a day apart from each other -- and see a spiritual sequence of events that symbolically allude to what we know is our coming future.

Fortunately, even though we might begin to see Satan's fingerprints more and more upon this world as those days draw near, we'll never find his fingerprints on us for we are the property of Jesus Christ.

Are We About To Star In Operation Blackjack?

I know that there are many Christians out there who study the end times like us who generally don't believe in any kind of "conspiracy" as it pertains to man being behind such nefarious schemes while sitting in positions of power within various governments of the world.

We all know that Ephesians 6:12 is definitely at play in this world regardless of what the truth is. However, I'm more inclined to lean towards the belief that there are those within the halls of power who are acting in accordance with Satan's will and not the will of our Heavenly Father whether they consciously realize it or not.

In fact, an EXCELLENT book on the subject is an early work by Tom Horn titled Spiritual Warfare: The Invisible Invasion, which seeks to demonstrate how nations and their governments (as well as the politicians who run them) are certainly susceptible to demonic influence. When I think about the characteristics of the coming Antichrist and his One World Government political system it begins to make much more sense, and seems much more likely (to me anyway) that there is a place for such so-called "conspiracies" to exist within that framework and perspective. Let's keep that in mind as we continue here today.

Remember last year around this time when we were all trying to analyze the meaning behind the inflammatory "artistic series" in the UK's Telegraph called "Operation Blackjack" in response to all the anti-Christian imagery and verbiage contained throughout that slide show?

For those who don't recall that Psy-Op, I strongly encourage you to go back and take a look at things and be sure to read the various discussions we had on the matter before reading about the Telegraph's "admission" that eventually came out in June 2009.

Why am I bringing this up now? Well, because it seems like we're starting to witness yet another case of real life imitating art. Has anyone else thought about how ironic it is (ok, not really) that real-world events are starting to mirror that "fictional" series?

First, we read about a Christian militia accused of plotting to kill cops. Then, we hear about how they were preparing for battle against the Antichrist. But the real tip-off came when I saw the headline that this group planned to kill police with "Weapons of Mass Destruction".

The similarities between this developing news story and what we were presented with about the "Christian Terrorists" in that Operation Blackjack series is striking. I hate to even suggest this, but just as the groundwork to push H1N1/Swine Flu vaccines was laid a few months prior to the so-called "epidemic" last year at this time, I'm wondering if they could be following the same script this time around and only applying it to this latest "threat" they claim is significant.

I also find the timing to be extremely suspect. I mean, it was just last week when the mainstream news outlets were reporting how 25% of all Republicans polled believe Obama is the Antichrist.

One week later, that news cycle has evolved to now include people who not only think that our President could be the Antichrist, but the impression is that those same people are now seriously dangerous as evidenced by the reports that this "Christian militia group" was preparing to battle with the Antichrist, and that they were also plotting to kill a police officer and slaughter scores more by bombing the funeral -- all in hopes of touching off an uprising against the U.S. government.

Yep, definitely sounds like a missing slide from the Operation Blackjack series, doesn't it? It also supports the administration's previous warnings about the threat of "domestic, homegrown terrorists" here in America.

Right. So, the government continues to act illegally and immorally (and in direct violation of the U.S. Constitution and the principles and process that this nation was founded on threat blood, sweat, and tears), and yet, anyone who opposes them, we're the ones who are the threat?

It's always nice when you can re-define the rules of the game as you go when you're the one breaking the rules, isn't it? I'm not advocating everything that this militia group stood for let alone what they were planning for one minute, but I look at all of this and see the federal government attempting to sow the seeds of hate towards Christians.

And for those people who refrain from watching the news, the popular SyFy television show "Caprica" (a spin-off of "Battlestar Galactica") is doing their part to influence hearts and minds in the same way. The "terrorists" in that fictional series are the "Soldiers of the One" or "STO" because they have the audacity to believe in "the One true God" of the universe. Oh the horror!

Yes, you're right, that's nothing new in this day and age, but this seems to be a dramatic escalation in that "conversation" between us and them especially when it coincides with what just happened in Russia yesterday. The message is clear: Christians can be terrorists too and are just as capable of death and destruction like those two subway bombers in Russia were.

Right on cue, the authorities and reporters point to how this is emblematic of the sort of "right-wing terrorism" seen in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people. Never mind the fact that there's absolutely no mention of Jayna Davis' exceptional (and highly credible) work on the Oklahoma City Bombing case and how the "real story" isn't quite the real story after all.

There's no doubt in my mind that this news (whether over-hyped or not) plays directly into the administration's hands quite nicely. Let's not forget that it was only a short while ago when Joe Stack flew his plane into an IRS office building in Austin, TX. No, he wasn't labelled a "Christian Terrorist", but he did share many of the same anti-government views as those arrested over the weekend.

By the way, many of you who are reading this (myself included) feel the same way about our federal government these days. How much longer before the net is widened and we're hunted, arrested, prosecuted for such beliefs?

Their "Order Out of Chaos" blueprint of governance is proceeding exactly as planned and now that they scored a major victory with the passage of the Health Care Bill they smell blood in the water and are going to continue to go for it.

Maybe this is just the set-up we're witnessing. A few days ago, we read that according to a government report, Britain faces an increased threat of a nuclear attack by al-Qaeda terrorists following a rise in the trafficking of radiological material.

That's odd. Britain was also highlighted in that Operation Blackjack series, but it was the "traditional terrorist" who was responsible for those attacks. The fictional U.S. attacks were perpetrated by the "Christian Terrorists" (whether in collusion with al-Qaeda and similar groups wasn't made clear in the series, but you better believe that would be a likely explanation given to us).

***STRIKE THAT***

I just went back and watched the complete Operation Blackjack series and in Part 3 were shown a slide that reads the following:

"...a coalition of home-grown extremists, Islamists, and Christian doomsday cultists may have acquired the means to carry-out a mass casualty attack..."

Well, there you go. That's the plan. Has it been set in motion? Are we witnessing the beginning stages of Operation Blackjack being carried out here in the real-world? Why is it so "crazy" to think that given what we know about world and recent American history regarding documented "False Flag" events?

Let's not forget that the fictional events depicted in Operation Blackjack when it was released back in early 2009 was for 2010 -- the year we currently find ourselves in at the moment. Plus, in Part 4 of the series, the slideshow begins with the phrase "One year earlier..." and it portrays an Obama administration's role in the events that led to the carrying out of Operation Blackjack a year later in 2010. In essence, everything eerily depicts what really transpired here in the real-world already and so far.

Please keep in mind that I'm not writing about any of this in order to cause fear or widespread panic. None of those are a fruit of the spirit, and if you do respond to such a thought with intense feelings of that kind, then please turn to God and seek His forgiveness for a lack of faith and trust in Him.

Pray Luke 21:36 just as we're commanded to and have confidence that even if we are on to something here, even if this is The-Powers-That-Be's attempt to telegraph their plans in advance like their prone to, we belong to One who is greater than them! Praise the Lord for that simple truth that we can rely on!

By the way, I didn't want to go this route in this piece, but I think it's worth at least mentioning that the key numbers associated with this story that keep coming up are 9 (number of members arrested), 17 (number of men pictured on the group's website), and 44 (age of the alleged ringleader).

Let's recall that powerful encounter Jesus had when he confronted those who wanted to stone the woman caught in the act of adultery.

John 8:7-8 (KJV) So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Resist the urge to pile on to someone who has just fallen and been discovered publicly for their sin(s). Instead, pray for them that the Lord would open their heart and mind to the despicable spiritual condition they're in.

May we all learn how to drop the stones in our hands and replace the empty space by pressing our hands together in prayer for the guilty brother or sister before us.

Why? Because it's the very least we can do after what Jesus did for us on the cross.

I'm still in a political frame of mind this morning.

I see and hear so many passionate citizens of this country voicing their concerns about a federal government that is ignoring their will and acting illegally while being led by a man who is grossly out-of-touch with mainstream American values.

I believe that the political chaos that ensued after the passage of "Obamacare" this past week is a good thing (even if it was largely manufactured to foment disagreement and dissent) because it's finally getting people to open their eyes and accept what we've been trying to tell them all along.

Even so, we need to maintain a level head here and not allow our emotions to subdue our better judgment. We need to remind ourselves over and over again that this is all the result of a spiritual battle that is now manifesting itself here in the real-world as we quickly approach the Tribulation.

That being said, many of these things must come to pass. Why? Simply put, because God's Word tells us they must. More concerning than the crisis on the domestic front is the political crisis developing on the international stage between the U.S. and Israel.

In fact, although many people are starting to "get it" when it comes to understanding what's really going on behind-the-scenes that's driving the current political machine, they're still completely in the dark about the prophetic significance of what happens in the Middle East.

Regardless of your views about the state of Israel and her people, there's no denying that the Middle East, Israel, and Jerusalem will be a focal point in the prophesied Tribulation/Great Tribulation as recorded quite clearly in the Bible.

That's what makes all of this so frustrating! Yes, people are waking up to the truth, but their concerns here on the home front are largely a distraction from the much bigger spiritual issue -- Israel's relationship to the rest of the world in the race to Daniel's 70th Week. They've been in the news a lot lately too, but it's all been overshadowed by the Health Care debate.

Wanna know why we should shift our focus to include the Middle East, Israel, and Jerusalem in addition to what's going on here in the U.S.? Here's a couple of good videos that answer that important question:

That doesn't mean that as Christians we should just throw up our hands, roll our eyes, and shake our heads in disgust rendering ourselves ineffective and useless. Remember that we're called to be the salt and light of the earth and that's a calling that remains until our final breath in this life.

Yes, stand up and be heard! But let your voice speak of the spiritual truths connected to this entire political debate! Get people around you to look at this situation and the rest of the world with spiritual eyes for once and not earthly ones! Encourage others to pray for God to have mercy on this nation for her sins, and to heal it while you engage in spiritual warfare through prayer yourself!

That's what's most important at this time -- bringing yourself as well as others to the realization that God is who He said He was, and that His Word can be trusted because we're seeing it unfold all around us on a daily basis. If we can reach that level of faith, then we should be humble enough to accept the truth about our spiritual condition and need for a Savior to release us from the bondage of sin.

At the end of the day, don't let the politics of man weigh you down. Instead, let it motivate you to live boldly and courageously, speaking the truth to whoever will listen.

God in is complete control despite all the chaos, and our place in His creation demands the right kind of spiritual response despite what we know is going to occur no matter what.

Hopefully, you all read the latest from New Wineskins that highlights the signing of "Obamacare" into law with the arrival of Anubis in New York City.

Here's a brief excerpt:

Egypt’s version of one of those underworld "gods" is Anubis. A 25-foot-tall statue of Anubis (some reports say 22 feet) sailed into New York Modern Babylon Harbor on a barge yesterday (March 23rd) in triumphant pose, exactly seven days before Pesach as the Hebrews count, on the same day the health deathcare bill became law.

As amazing as the prophetic symbolism contained in that post is for what it suggests, I just learned that a coyote was captured on the streets of Manhattan yesterday, or just a couple of days after the two aforementioned events.

The story itself was a hot topic in NYC all week long until yesterday:

Before addressing this bit of news with a few comments through the prism of prophecy, let's take a quick look at the written version of this story from the New York Post. Pay attention to some of the uncanny details that I've highlighted for you:

Coyotes Spotted In Manhattan

Three coyotes turned up on the Columbia University campus on Sunday morning, prompting an e-mail alert to students and faculty.

Columbia's public-safety officials said the coyotes were spotted in front of a campus building near 119th Street and Broadway. Someone called 911, and police saw one of the coyotes before it left the campus, apparently near 120th Street.

Later, in Central Park, photographer Neill Engler was walking along the 72nd Street transverse when he spotted a coyote running back and forth near The Lake and a gazebo.

On Wednesday, cops closed in on a coyote that was spotted in lower Manhattan, where it was cornered in a park on Thomas St. near Broadway, hiding under a parked van. It scurried out, ran a few circles around the park, and escaped on Thomas St. toward Church St.

"He looked tired," said Detective Jim Coll of the Emergency Service Unit's Truck One. "He was under a red car."

Police resumed the chase Thursday after the coyote - a wily cousin on the domestic dog - was spotted again at 11:45 a.m.

"When we got here, he was still on the West Side Highway," Coll said.

The coyote was shot with an animal tranquilizer before it was hauled out from under the car and driven off by police.

First things first.

What do the pagans believe about the coyote? In other words, what does a coyote symbolize to the lost, unsaved world? Let's just say that the similarities between this animal and what just transpired domestically, internationally, and politically in the days just prior to the chase and capture of the coyote in Manhattan are simply stunning for the way in way they seamlessly merge with one another. To me, that's speaks of a sophisticated spiritual element to all of this.

Get this! According to one site, they had this to say about the coyote:

The coyote god of the indigenous Americans was often the trickster or culture hero and sometimes the creator of humans and/or the Milky Way. Both the coyote and dog appear in numerous North American Indian creation and deluge myths.

The Coyote is a clown in the natural world, and in many Native American tribes view the symbolism of the Coyote as that of trickster, shape-shifter, and transformer. The Navajo never kill Coyote because of their belief that it accompanied the first man and woman into the entrance of the first physical world. Also, in the same myth, the Coyote brought with it seeds of life so as to sew new growth upon the new world. This legend depicts the Coyote as a bringer of life and a new birth symbol. However, the Shoshoni believed the Coyote to be the bringer of death. The sighting of the Coyote was said to bring natural disasters such as illness, floods and harsh winters. This was not viewed as something to be feared - rather it made way for new beginnings. Essentially, the Coyote was the "way-maker" of new direction as it went about its symbolic role of completing the cycle of life in nature.

Coyote according to many tribes is the great trickster. He is often fooled and astonished by the outcome of his own pranks. He survives this, then goes onto not learning by his mistakes and makes bigger ones. He denotes both folly and wisdom and the balance of the two. Wisdom is hidden in the foolery. He may have lost the skirmish, but remains unbeaten. Coyote is keeper of magic, teacher and creator. The cycle of power is year around. People see their weaknesses in his foolish acts. He helps them to become aware of their silliness and learn from it. Coyote teaches by folly. The message is to see through the actions of self sabotage, laugh at oneself and learn. Coyote is cunning, a shapeshifter, opportunity, stealth, white and dark magick, creativity, illumination, experience and new life. He stole fire for the humans, but he can also create floods. Trickster of Native American tales often gets duped, but he always rebounds and, at some point, even teaches himself lessons he learns from.

Unreal how the Lord uses seemingly mundane and unrelated real-world events to try and reach people where they are with what they have using the things that might get their attention if they're ignoring all His pleas to just turn to Him in repentance and finally accept His free gift of salvation. Even the pagan, lost, unbelieving souls of this world are being talked to through their own perverse signs and symbols. But are they listening? Will they admit that what they see is actually God trying to get their attention for once?

Ok, aside from the wild similarities between the symbolism of the coyote and President Obama and his actions from this past week, I want to hone in on the numbers now.

I know that many of you hate it whenever anyone (especially a professing Christian) mentions anything having to do with numbers let alone attaching any kind of significance to them, but as E.W. Bullinger brilliantly documented for posterity, our Heavenly Father used numbers in a consistent and methodical way throughout the Bible to help deepen our understanding of Him, His ways, and His plans for us.

Taking that into account, these are also my pwn personal observations and thoughts on the matter. You are certainly free to take them or leave them, but I had to run with this entire news item after what I saw the other day from New Wineskins because there seem to be some distinct parallels.

That being said, I simply cannot end this post without commenting on a few of the peculiarities associated with the numbers contained throughout the reporting on this story because it defies all explanations of mere chance and/or coincidence (which I don't believe in anyway).

First, recall that this was the fourth coyote spotted in Manhattan this year alone! This is what Bullinger wrote about the number 4:

Now the number four is made up of three and one (3+1=4), and it denotes, therefore, and marks that which follows the revelation of God in the Trinity, namely, His creative works. He is known by the things that are seen. Hence the written revelation commences with the words, "In-the-beginning God CREATED." Creation is therefore the next thing—the fourth thing, and the number four always has reference to all that is created. It is emphatically the number of Creation; of man in his relation to the world as created; while six is the number of man in his opposition to and independence of God. It is the number of things that have a beginning, of things that are made, of material things, and matter itself. It is the number of material completeness. Hence it is the world number, and especially the "city" number. The fourth day saw the material creation finished (for on the fifth and sixth days it was only the furnishing and peopling of the earth with living creatures).

Of course, we could also go in any number of directions where the God uses "four" in His Word -- the four great prophetic world powers we read about in the Book of Daniel; the Fourth Commandment is the first that refers to the earth; the fourth clause of the Lord's Prayer is the first that mentions the earth; the fourth Book of the Bible is Numbers (that's ironic in light of today's study!);

As if all of that weren't intriguing enough given how it correlates to this specific story about one of God's creatures roaming a city best known around the world for its material wealth, did anyone else notice some suspicious numbers and number pairings that kept coming up throughout MULTIPLE news reports of the same story?

Other potential points of interest I noted include:

> 3 Coyotes on Sunday morning. That should be pretty self-explanatory.

> 120th Street. 120 is made up of three forties (3x40=120). Applied to time therefore it signifies a divinely appointed period of probation, Genesis 6:3. Applied to persons it points to a divinely appointed number during a period of waiting, Acts 1:15. It is a factor also in the number of those who returned from Babylon, 42,360, being 120 x 353. It is also a factor of the number of the men who went up out of Egypt, 600,000, being 120 x 5000. It is a factor also of the 144,000 who will be sealed from the Twelve Tribes of Israel to go unscathed through the great tribulation, 144,000, being 120 x 1200.

> 72nd Street. The languages of the Holy Bible are Hebrew and Greek. The most prevalent language in history for the spread of the Gospel is English (no doubt about that, right?). Get this...

Hebrew 22 letters
Greek 24 characters
English 26 characters

While reflecting one day, it dawned on me that they equal 72! That to me is more than a mere coincidence! Plus, there are a few key Scriptures that contain the number 72. According to one author, as Christ's life and ministry was a walking parable, he believes the following is speaking of the 72 characters of the three major languages (listed above) by which the "Good News" has been sent forth: Luke 10:1; Luke 10:17-20; Mark 16:15-18.

The same author goes on to write, "Several other occasions concerning this number: We have 70 elders chosen in Numbers 11:14-17 to assist Moses. These 70, plus Aaron and Moses, equal 72 -- the 72 who spoke on God's behalf to the people. Also, there were 72 ornaments on the Menorah in the Tabernacle -- a symbol of Light -- and the oil in it, the Holy Spirit. Also, there were said to be 72 separate pieces of the veil in the Temple which separated the Holy place from the Most Holy Place. All these speak of the transmission of God's message. Additionally, the Greek Old Testament, the Septuagint, was said to have been translated by 72 Hebrew Scholars (6 from each tribe) in 72 days -- again a transmission of God's message! Something else, pertinent in our time is that the priestly garments are being remade for Temple service. The garment of the High Priest has brass bells and pomogrants woven into its hem. Interestingly, they have decided that 72 of each, alternating around the hem, will be used! Inspired? I think so!" The number 72 has many other eyebrow-raising facts associated with it too.

> Go back and take a look at that local news report that was embedded as a video of this story. Check out the numbers that appear throughout that short three minute video. Interesting how when they show the coyote underneath the parked van the license plate has 44 as the first two digits you see! We all should be well aware of that number by now both within a spiritual context and a real-world context.

> On the same video clip we find in the lower right-hand corner the number 11:11 (read up on the occult, and therefore, Satanic significance of that number pairing HERE!) juxtaposed with a 7, and if you add the 5 and the 4 (from the temperature that was listed as 54 degrees at the time of filming) we get an 11/9, or the reverse of 9/11! How ridiculous is all of that?

There's something within that last bullet point that I want to stay with for a moment. What I immediately picked up on in relation to the odd numbers and number pairings I saw, had to do with how they evoked the memory of 9/11.

The New York Post account (which was linked and excerpted above as the written version of the story) contained TWO BACK-TO-BACK EXAMPLES in this regard -- "119th Street" (9/11 in reverse) followed in the very next sentence with the words "Someone called 9/11"!

The coyote was caught yesterday after the chase resumed at 11:45 a.m. it was reported. Again, 9/11 in reverse (11:9 if you add the 4 and the 5 together).

We just documented in that last bullet point above how there was another "reverse 9/11" in the video clip, which gives us a total of 3 "reverse 9/11" or 3 "9/11 in reverse" -- dare I say -- "encoded symbolic messages", from separate news sources?

Look, I know how all of this sounds but many of you who are regular readers of LUF know how I operate around these parts. I don't demand that the Holy Spirit explains things to me so that I completely understand them backwards and forwards, but I do know when it is that I see something or hear something and the clear thought occurs to me, "Hey, you should write about this -- right away!", which explains why I've spent so many late nights in front of my laptop.

I always pray that it's His prompting that I'm following and not our common enemy who's trying to distract me by taking me down some deep, dark rabbit hole. Again, I try not to ask too many questions, but always try to do what I believe I'm supposed to and leave all the consequences to Him.

Is there a prophetic significance to this seemingly random and unusual story about coyotes in Manhattan this past week and how one of them was just captured only a few days after President Obama passed his Health Care Bill, and after a large statue of Anubis sailed into the New York City Harbor?

I've already indicated which direction I'm leaning even if I haven't got it all figured out yet. What do you think? Please take it to the Lord in prayer and then feel free to share your thoughts here with the rest of us.

Lastly, if there is something to all of this and especially to the numbers aspect we might want to begin to get our spiritual house in order fast because the assessment by New Wineskins and many others is spot on -- TIME IS SHORT! WAKE UP! TIME IS SHORTER THAN YOU THINK!

In my research, I came across an article from just a couple of weeks ago that leaves me speechless due to how it ties in with everything else here. Here's the article:

US 'Anubis' Stealth Assassin Robo-Missile Nearly Ready
Manhunting Suitcase Kamikaze To Put Snipers Out Of Work

The US military is continuing work on a portable, robotic drone/missile which could be used to kill individual human beings from afar. The weapon, codenamed "Anubis", has now moved into the final stages of development.

The latest news comes in a federal budget announcement that California hi-tech firm Aerovironment, well-known as a specialist in very small UAVs, has received a $1.18m contract for "Anubis Phase III". Phase III is the penultimate or final stage in most US military tech projects, indicating that Anubis is close to maturity.

According to other US government budget documents unearthed by the Ares blog, Anubis is a "Tactical MAV [Micro Air Vehicle] for Time-Sensitive Fleeting Targets" and add that it "is to address the need for a micro air vehicle that can engage high-value maneuvering targets". The deadly little machine is also described as a "non-line-of-sight munition with man-in-the loop target ID with very low collateral damage".

Aerovironment has also been working on a project it calls "Switchblade" since at least 2007, which is to deliver a portable, tube-launched "loitering munition" of the sort now becoming trendy in some nations' artillery units. The Switchblade, having been shot out of its disposable launch tube, pops out its wings and flies about on silent electric propulsion for as long as 15 minutes, scanning the terrain below with an electro-optical system.

As soon as its target is found, the silent Switchblade plunges out of the sky like a small robotic kamikaze, detonating its small warhead on impact to take out things as small as an individual human.

Obviously, the deployment of such a weapon on the active battlefield may still be a year or two away, but I still found it incredible how the Anubis thread led to a story about a new military device that would most certainly aid in assassinations, and we all know that assassinations of prominent political figures has historically led to major wars.

Why do I mention that as being something we should think about and keep our eyes on? Because Bullinger also noted that it is most significant that we get the number four in its concentrated form in connection with DAMASCUS, which is the oldest city in the world in Syria. The number of its name is 444! I know we're all familiar with prophecy associated with the destruction of Damascus (Isaiah 17:1).

What does any of this mean? Is this a portent for the United States? For the world at large? We can't say for sure although it does seem rather unlikely that all these signs and symbols would appear within the same week (on the same day) unless that had some kind of meaning.

I will say this though...I don't need stories about political corruption, floating statues, and coyotes on the loose to convince me that what the Holy Bible says about what's coming is true. I already knew the script before I saw these notes in the margin. If anything, they only add additional perspective to the story I'm already quite familiar with.

The best advice I can give besides taking all of these things under prayerful consideration to the Lord? Pray Luke 21:36 and have no fear about what's to come. Even so, Lord come quickly.

From Obamacare, To Jerusalem, To The End Times

I'm counting the crossroads today. From "Obamacare", to Jerusalem, to the end times. That's where we are today. There were two historic events that took place yesterday, and both were prophetically significant.

As we all know, President Obama signed into law the most dangerous and anti-life piece of domestic policy legislation in American history (and that's just in response to the few things we know about that exist in the Bill that was passed!).

I'd like to sit here and say that I think the people of this country will remember this moment and use it as a catalyst for change come November, but how many times have we seen this sort of thing? I mean, after all, the President himself flip-flopped on the issue of Health Care in the span of a single year! Have a look:

That was the first of many spiritual crossroads I began counting yesterday. In addition, the next was born out of his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That meeting was historic because American-Israeli relations are at an all-time low.

Israel will be constructing 1,600 new housing units in East Jerusalem -- a policy that, as the Israeli newspaper Haaretz notes, is the same as it has been in the 42 years since Jerusalem has been under Israeli control. Israel has been pummeled by the Obama administration of late for its decision to build housing in its capital city, which is ridiculous because that would be like Israel telling us we can't build homes in Washington DC anymore.

The whole thing should be odd to a casual observer, considering that the Obama-Netanyahu Building Moratorium Agreement, executed last year, specifically excludes Jerusalem. Sadly, just like how Obama flip-flopped on Health Care (as evidenced by the video embedded above that shows him speaking in his own words), we find more proof of his political instability as demonstrated by this next clip of him:

His comments about Israel and the status of Jerusalem notwithstanding, doesn't anyone think it's concerning for a politician -- particularly the current President of the United States -- to flip-flop on issues of critical importance like this? Yes, I get that some will argue this is nothing more than "politics as usual", but I would counter that when the will of the people is subverted (flat out ignored!) like it has been by this administration lately, and especially when the jobs and political futures of many in Washington DC hangs in the balance, I would hope that it would prompt some of you non-believers to seriously question why that is the case.

My prayer is that you will finally start to realize that these things are happening precisely because they are rooted in the spiritual realm, and because God said this would happen to fulfill His ultimate plans for humanity. It's really that simple, and I gotta believe that most see that but refuse to accept it for fear of what else it would mean (and force them to admit and explore).

Back to this second spiritual crossroads involving Israel. Earlier Tuesday, Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) said, "The time has come for this administration to stop bullying Israel." At least someone in Washington DC gets it.

Despite the cost, Israel has taken great risks to achieve peace, conceding its land -- and, arguably, some of its security to do so. And now, Israel faces the gravest threat in its history -- the potential of an Iranian nuclear weapon.

Our national security and well-being are intertwined with that of Israel, a fact that the Obama administration would be wise to understand.

Don't believe me? If you're not a Christian and don't have a Bible within reach, then please simply take some time to do a quick study of World History. Even the secular historian will admit that there's an uncanny connection between a nation's rise and fall on the world stage and her direct treatment of Israel.

Of course, that should be of no surprise to us since that's EXACTLY what God says will happen as it's recorded in His Word thousands of years ago as found today in the Holy Bible.

I'm just wondering whether or not those in this country who go on living in ignorance to that spiritual truth will finally "get it" once this nation experiences her full fall from grace because make no mistake -- it's coming!

God will not be mocked! He will not turn a blind eye to the legalized and forced support of the slaughter of innocent life in this nation! He will not turn a blind eye to the pressure being exerted by this nation upon Israel to give up her land and divide Jerusalem!

The impact of such a divine response will be felt in each and every home in America, and it's coming much sooner than most think. Gosh, all one needs to do is look at another area of concern, another spiritual crossroads from the other day, that should give everyone pause even if it's looked at independently from these other historical events -- Stocks Fall On Concern About US Credit Rating.

Folks (and I'm speaking to those unbelievers who happened to stumble upon this post today as well as to those "Christians" who don't believe in the validity of any end times prophecies), let's just ignore the spiritual component to the Health Care/Abortion debate and even the U.S.-Israeli Relations debate for a moment because I get that there's typically a sharp divide on those issues between both camps. Instead, let's look at a topic that EVERYONE can relate to and generally agree on -- Economy/$Money$.

Do you know what would happen if the U.S. eventually lost its top-notch "AAA" credit rating? You should because I'd venture to guess that a majority of you are ill-prepared for such a scenario (a scenario that's becoming more and more likely by the day and especially now that this massive Health Care Bill was just passed).

Forget about relying on your Savings or an "Emergency Cash Fund" hidden in an envelope under your mattress. What I'm guaranteeing will happen (no, not because I'm saying it, but because the Bible says it, and you can hear all about it HERE) is that we will all need to learn how to rely on the Lord and only the Lord for daily provision. It's really that simple although that kind of lifestyle I'm sure would be really hard for some of you.

That's why I want to try and impress upon people their need to turn away from all the "creature comforts" and "false securities" they've established in their life because it's all worthless! Don't wait for a crisis to force you to your knees in sincere prayer. Seek the Lord's face today and just talk to Him. Ask Him for forgiveness, repent of your sins, recommit your life to living a life that is pleasing to Him, pray for Him to reveal areas in your life that need some "house cleaning" and then go ahead and "clean your spiritual house", and don't wait until the "Spring" (or until some crisis hits) before you finally do that because if you do you'll be ill-prepared to handle the full weight of chaos, death, destruction, emotions, fear, and uncertainty that is sure to result from a full economic collapse and death of the U.S. Dollar.

Please understand that these are not "fear tactics" here, but genuine, heartfelt concern coming from someone who wants to clearly communicate to you the reality about what's coming upon this world. Look, we've already seen a federal government ignore the will of its people and enact a law that no one wanted; a law that will severely negatively impact the country financially (not to mention culturally, morally, and politically).

Here's a quick video clip from a secular mainstream news program that highlights the reality of the world in which we're living in, and incredibly includes all the buzz words that us Christians have been warning you about for years. Maybe hearing these same things from one of your own will finally convince you that we're trying to report the truth about a global economic collapse, the death of the U.S. Dollar and economy, the creation of a global currency, the creation of a one-world government, and the establishment of a New World Order:

Those who will survive (whatever definition you choose to give that term in the face of such righteous retribution) will be those who have fallen on their knees in sincere repentance, begging God to forgive them for their sins, and praying for His Holy Spirit to enter their lives and show them the way to right living with the Lord and Savior in complete control -- not them, not their money, not their material possessions and resources, not their elected officials, not their government, not their military.

No, Him and only Him, which is the way it was always meant to be since the very beginning.

Lord have mercy on this nation and her people.

That's Odd...

Let me just say at the outset that I'm not attaching too much significance over what I'm about to share with you today, but I do want to mention it because I find it very ironic.

As you know, last week offered me with an incredible faith experience. Leading up to that moment I prayed and prayed and prayed that when God did answer my prayers that He would also help to open my eyes and ears, heart and mind so that I didn't miss what He was trying to tell me.

Ask and ye shall receive!

Needless to say, my senses have been super-charged a bit and while I'm not looking for signs behind every bush I encounter, I have been CONSTANTLY asking myself on a moment-to-moment basis whether or not there's a "message in this" for me no matter what happens.

That's on of the byproducts about seeing God work so intimately in your life in ways only He could and in a manner that proves that He exists (since there are things said in prayer that were only between me and Him).

Anyway, what I'm getting at is that I just realized a few other things about last week that seemed to sum up the kind of supernatural experience I had that has ultimately pulled me closer to Him and prompted me to follow His lead and embark upon this unexpected journey to an undiscovered country.

First, I didn't realize it until just recently, but my trip to Auburn, NY was overflowing with unusual "signs" of what was to come later in the week.

When I first arrived in Auburn, NY last week for my week-long stay I never ended up lodging at the hotel that my company had a business relationship with. I did some scouting around town on my own that first day using my GPS and found a hotel that I believed was better in many ways, but particularly aesthetically and financially even though it was much smaller and the lesser known of the two. Incredibly, it was only 2 minutes away from the one I was "supposed to" stay at, but significantly cheaper, more comortable, more relaxing, and more "me" than the other one was if that makes any sense at all.

In hindsight, I look at that seemingly commonplace occurrence and see something quite significant instead. My decision to stay there and all the details associated with it was actually a FORESHADOWING of what the good Lord was about to do in my life!

The way I see it, these are the uncanny parallels:

MY SITUATION: Everyone I know (most everyone) would tell me that in this economy, and given my family's financial situation, I am supposed to pursue and accept a job with a stable company like the one I was just with, doing work I loved to do (and was good at), and getting paid quite nicely for it.

HOTEL EXPERIENCE: Everyone I know at the company (most everyone) told me that I was supposed to stay at the "big name" and "well established" hotel because it was the one that "made the most sense" financially and logistically to the company.

MY SITUATION: I was unexpectedly led to a new career path courtesy of the Lord that doesn't make much sense to most people (at least to those who don't know me that well) that still allows me to use all the gifts that I was given from God, but in a way that doesn't come with all the worldly accolades and prestige that I might've had with a company like the one I was with, and in a position like the one I had with them.

HOTEL EXPERIENCE: I was unexpectedly led to a new hotel that didn't make much sense to those I worked with there in Auburn locally even though it still allowed me to do my job effectively and even though it was just as logistically sound (being only 2 minutes away from the other one) and even more affordable, but definitely smaller (no Room Service offered) and not as well known.

MY SITUATION: God told me to choose the road less traveled and I already know it's the one that gives me more peace and serenity despite any thoughts of "How will He provide for me through this?" that I might have as I pray to Him about the best way to make a modest living doing what He wants me to do while maintaining a commitment and focus on helping people discover the truth about Him and His Word.

HOTEL EXPERIENCE: God led me to choose to stay at a hotel that very few people from my company stay at when they're in Auburn, NY, and I knew instantly that it was the better choice because I had me peace and relaxation there given it's small size and given that it was tucked away on a side street off of the downtown quarter.

You wanna know what really made an impression on me though? I hadn't realized this until just the other day because my GPS is what led me by accident to that hotel, but after I share this with you I think I might refer to my Garmin GPS device as "God's Positioning System" from now on.

Guess the name of the street that the hotel I stayed at is on. Seminary Avenue. Actutally 12 Seminary Avenue to be exact!

Here's what E.W. Bullinger has to say about the number 12:

Twelve is a perfect number, signifying perfection of government, or of governmental perfection. It is found as a multiple in all that has to do with rule. The sun which "rules" the day, and the moon and stars which "govern" the night, do so by their passage through the twelve signs of the Zodiac which completes the great circle of the heavens of 360 (12 x 30) degrees or divisions, and thus govern the year. Twelve is the product of 3 (the perfectly Divine and heavenly number) and 4 (the earthly, the number of what is material and organic). While seven is composed of 3 added to 4, twelve is 3 multiplied by 4, and hence denotes that which can scarcely be explained in words, but which the spiritual perception can at once appreciate, viz., organization, the products denoting production and multiplication and increase of all that is contained in the two numbers separately. The 4 is generally prominently seen in the twelve.

So, let me get this straight. Last week's experience was crucial in getting me to turn my back on corporate America in order to follow what I believe is God leading me to a calling in producing some online ministries for all His glory and honor.

No, it's not "Seminary School" as it's traditional thought of, but I'd say that's a pretty remarkable connection nonetheless so don't even begin to try and convince me that that was just some wild, wacky coincidence. I don't believe in chance, coincidences, or luck. I believe in the Heavenly Father and how He operates!

Yep, I'm still trying to wrap my brain around all of this too.

God, in His desire to give us His best (especially when we seek Him and ask Him for guidance and help), wasn't done confirming that this is what He wanted me to do and that this is where He wanted me to be for now (at least from my perspective).

The second "odd" real-world experience that I viewed symbolically? On the SAME DAY, I injured 2 FINGERS on my RIGHT HAND -- my THUMB and my RING FINGER! In my line of work in corporate America to this point, it's extremely rare for me to ever encounter a set of circumstances that could physically hurt me. Plus, when I'm not working, I'm typing, so that prevents me from being put in a situation where I could get deep cuts to my hands like the ones I received.

Anyway, here's what I instantly thought about after the fact (whether it's appropriate or not, I still wanted to share it given my previous account about the hotels):

> Bullinger notes: "Two affirms that there is a difference—there is another; while One affirms that there is not another! This difference may be for good or for evil. A thing may differ from evil, and be good; or it may differ from good, and be evil. Hence, the number Two takes a two-fold colouring, according to the context. It is the first number by which we can divide another, and therefore in all its uses we may trace this fundamental idea of division or difference." Certainly applicable to my situation.

> The injuries occured to my right hand. No need to spend too much time on the concept of "right" and "left" because I think that's pretty self-explannatory for this body of believers.

> An opposable thumb is what makes human unique, but it's also what allows us to open doors. I thought about the implied symbolism there as in the fact that I'm about to "open a door that I've never opened before", in a sense, as I embark upon this new path God has put before me.

> My ring finger made me think of being a part of the "Bride of Christ" and my longing to be with the "Bridegroom" Jesus Christ even though it was on my right hand and not the left where the wedding ring is traditionally worn.

> The fact that BOTH FINGERS were injured I found to be rather significant. My thought was that perhaps the symbolism is that if I'm going to "open this door" (represented by my injured thumb) and commit to these online ministries that God has put before me, then I need to be prepared to suffer some for His namesake. Likewise, if I'm part of the "Bride of Christ" and I'm going to be with my "Bridegroom" Jesus Christ one day (represented by my injured ring finger), then I need to expect to suffer some for His namesake. All in all, the general feeling and impression I was left with after thinking about all of this was that I need to become emboldened for Christ -- now more than ever -- and quite being borderline lukewarm.

Look, I know that there will be some who will have finished reading what I just wrote and think that I'm being "too mystical" and that I'm "getting carried away" with all of this. With what? My life? I take my life just as seriously as anyone else takes theirs. More importantly, I take my Lord and Savior even more seriously and so when I read in the Bible that He will answer my prayers and that He can do so in a number of different very intimate and very personal ways, then you better believe I'm going to ask Him to make me completely sensitive to anything and everything that might fall into those categories of being wholly "intimate" and/or wholly "personal".

At the end of the day, you're free to disregard everything I just wrote if you want to. That doesn't change anything though. I pray that God uses my experience as recorded here to speak to another person's heart and to communicate to them that He loves them just as much as He loves me, and that He desires to work as intimately and personally in their lives as well.

Praise God for His wholly intimate and wholly personal acts in my life because they've directly resulted in me living a more holy lifestyle.

His Will, His Timing, My Obedience

It's incredible how God works. What an inadequate statement to describe His beautiful glory and power, huh?

Several months ago (over the summer to be exact) I spent weeks creating a few new websites to support a few new online ministries that I felt the Lord was leading me to establish.

To say that I was "compelled" at the time (much like I was when Look Up Fellowship was born) would be a gross understatement. No, I was infused with the Holy Spirit unlike any other time in my life!

At the time, however, I couldn't quite understand what He was doing and why. Isn't that always the case though just as we're told in Isaiah 55:5-8? Obedience is what He wants -- no matter what.

As quickly as the command to create those online ministries came, the desire to follow through with them and manage what God had entrusted to me had just as quickly dissipated. I had no idea why, but looking back I'm beginning to see or more clearer picture come into focus these days.
Needless to say, it all had to do with the faith experience I just went through this past week. Of that I am certain.

In His infinite grace and mercy, He put the brakes on the whole thing until He was ready, and until I was ready after He was done working on me. You see, I didn't know it at the time, but He was building a mystery and working things out well in advance of this day. He knew how things would ultimately play out and, more importantly, knew that He needed to mold and shape my heart first before I was ready to travel this new path in life like He wants me to.

Let's just say I was a Moses asking "Why me?" when He was looking for an Isaiah to proclaim "Send me!", and to look back on it all and understand that truth is liberating indeed. Ultimately, everything I'm about to tell about His plans have to do with three distinct concepts -- His will, His timing, and my obedience (no matter what).

By now, you all know how I voluntarily walked away from a stable, salaried position earning the most money I have ever earned in my young adult life after only 2 short months on the job because I knew that I had pursued and stepped into that role to satisfy my own desires and that I had done so without consulting my Heavenly Father first. Lord have mercy on me and forgive me for my sin!

Today, He's led me back to those online ministries He had me working on over the summer and helped me put the finishing touches on nearly all over them just this past weekend. I truly feel that He wants me to commit to them 110% in the days and weeks ahead and consider this my new "Full-Time Job" until further notice. I'm listening and I hear Him loudly and clearly. I have faith that He will provide for me and my family by somehow, and in some miraculous way, orchestrating things in such a way that He helps me make up the difference between what was lost when I resigned, and what is needed for me and my family on a month-to-month basis. Again, of that I am certain.

I lay all of this at the Lord's feet. May He do with it (and with me) what He deems necessary and use it (and me) to bring glory and honor to Him.

Talk about trying to respond as soon as the Lord commands me to do something! I didn't expect to broadcast my first show until all the pieces were in place -- with all 3 new online ministries -- but we all know it's better to just stop trying to make sense of things, to stop worrying about everything being so "perfect" all the time, and to just follow His lead.

Answering the questions we all have with the answers we rarely seek...IWTB Radio will be a sort of apologetics ministry or a course in the fundamentals. Hopefully, with the Holy Spirit's power, these broadcasts can be used to witness to family members, friends, and strangers alike as they encounter you in your sphere of influence with the Common Objections/Questions & Answers of the Christian faith that we're rarely prepared to answer. In addition, this is where some of the material found here on Look Up Fellowship might appear to be discussed and debated since IWTB Radio will also take the command given in Proverbs 25:2 quite seriously.

Most importantly, I hope to make all 3 shows INTERACTIVE so that YOU can be a part of the discussion on a regular basis rather than simply sit there and talk at you for 30-60 minutes at a time. This past week's participation in the Comments Section really impressed upon me how something like that is urgently needed for the Body of Christ and perhaps why the Lord was leading me in that direction all along.

Praise Him and please say a prayer for this new and exciting stage in my life so that I can be fruitful for Him and take this task very seriously without falling into Satan's trap of spewing idle words full of style, but lacking spiritual substance.
