Giffords, Loughner, Skelton

By the time you're through reading this, you'll be just as annoyed by "politics as usual" as you've ever been, especially on the heals of "historic change" in Washington DC following the mid-term Elections.

Now, whether or not this is yet another bona fide "conspiracy" I'll let you be the judge. Just let the facts speak for themselves and take it to the Lord in prayer. At the very least, it's more of the same that we've sadly grown far too accustomed to.

Folks, this is nothing more than further proof of what we've been saying all along: Democrats/Republicans, Liberals/Conservatives, Left/Right -- it doesn't matter -- they're two sinister sides to the same corrupt coin!

As students of end times Bible prophecy, this is nothing more than further proof that Satan is continuing to use "political theater"( as much as the good Lord will allow him) to distract us from what really matters, and to create instability en route to a realization of his twisted "Order Out of Chaos" blueprint for the last days.

We spend a lot of time examining various threads -- what we sometimes call "prophetic puzzle pieces" -- or those news items that, independently, mean nothing, but collectively, seem to tell us so much about what's really going on in this world let alone how far along God's prophetic timeline we are. Today is not exception.

I debated as to whether or not to share this as a stand alone post or to include it as a mere comment to the previous Representative Gabrielle Giffords post from a few days ago.

I decided to go with the former because I believe it is worthy of further discussion and investigation and the more people that look into it the better in my book.

Has anyone else seen this strange video yet?

'giffords2' YouTube Channel Subscribed To Killer's YouTube Page!?!



Now, before we get too carried away here, I need to ask anyone who's much more knowledgeable in computers, the Internet, and IT whether or not it's possible (and easy) for someone to DUPLICATE an already existing page.

This stems from my thought that perhaps the tag "giffords2" (the name assigned to the Rep. Gabrielle Giffords page in the above video presentation) is a major clue. I mean, why else would you add a "2" next to your name unless maybe this was a secondary page and not your primary one?

As the filmmaker points out, however, it does look extremely official, doesn't it? And so the fact that it is connected to the gunman, Jared Lee Loughner, is concerning. I guess I'm not the only one who saw this though because WorldNetDaily has this as their lead story today too.

But what of the other person that the "giffords2" channel is subscribed to? It's one of only two channels that the "giffords2" channel is subscribed to.

Well, that belongs to former Missouri Congressman, Ike Skelton, who was recently defeated in the mid-term Election after 34 years in Congress.



Skelton has been described as "the powerful chairman of the House Armed Services Committee" and "a rare breed of Democrat" too. He brought the B-2 Stealth Bomber to Whiteman Air Force Base and quadrupled the number of military trainees cycling through Fort Leonard Wood in the shadow of the Ozarks. In fact, he even helped craft the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, and voted against its repeal in late 2010.

As a recent Time Magazine article put it...

"He had the backing of many conservative groups, including the NRA. He even voted against health care reform. In the waning days of the campaign, he aired a television ad distancing himself from his party's congressional leader. 'Ike Skelton: Against Obamacare. Pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military. Doesn't sound like Nancy Pelosi, does it?' the ad proclaimed. It wasn't enough. And so Missouri's Ike Skelton became the reluctant symbol of a historic upheaval."

You might remember him from another high-profile story from a few years ago though. On November 26th, 2005, Skelton was injured when a van carrying him and fellow U.S. Representatives Tim Murphy and Jim Marshall overturned near Baghdad Airport while on an official visit to Iraq. Skelton and Murphy were airlifted to a U.S. Military hospital in Germany after complaining of neck pain. Both made a full recovery.

Ok, so what? Well, here's where things get even more curious and almost as if this is some kind of "bread crumb" clue leading us to the "story behind the story" perhaps.

First, sit down before you listen to this one! Representative Ike Skelton called for the establishment of a US Department of Homeland Security -- ON SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2001, OR 6 FULL DAYS PRIOR TO 9/11!!!

No commentary necessary. That one speaks for itself and serves as the appropriate prelude to where we're headed here. Fast forward to the present day.

This was reported -- just a few hours hours ago -- by the mainstream news even though it happened just a single day before Saturday's tragic events...

President Signs Defense Authorization Act

Ike Skelton of Missouri, longtime chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, who lost his House seat in November’s election.

“The act authorizes funding for the defense of the United States and its interests abroad, for military construction, and for national security-related energy programs,” the president wrote in a statement accompanying the signing’s announcement.Obama registered “strong objections” to two of the act’s provisions related to transfer of detainees from the U.S. facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. One prohibits the use of funds appropriated by the act to transfer Guantanamo detainees into the United States, and the other bars the use of certain funds to transfer detainees to the custody or effective control of foreign countries unless specified conditions are met.But despite his objections to the two sections, the president said in his statement, “I have signed this act because of the importance of authorizing appropriations for, among other things, our military activities in 2011.”

The act governs a wide range of Defense Department activities, including procurement; research, development, testing and evaluation; equipment operation and maintenance; military personnel authorizations and policy; and reserve-component management.

Folks, read that again. Use that brain that God gave you and let's think about this critically and logically for a moment. That's not being a "Conspiracy Theorist", but being a truth-loving human being.

First, how odd is it that we had that strange video seemingly showing Giffords' YouTube channel connected with Ike Skelton's YouTube channel (or 1 of only 2 other YouTube channels that the "giffords2" page is linked with) and he's the VERY PERSON that this 2011 Defense Authorization Act is named after? How do we explain that? But wait, there's more!

Second, re-read the President's statement that I highlighted in bold from the news article and listed in the second paragraph. It says that the Act authorizes funding for "national security related energy programs", doesn't it? Well, isn't that too coincidental too? After all, what was Giffords most well-known for (politically speaking) before her involvement in this past weekend's events? It was this...

I'd say that's some coincidence, isn't it?

She got blasted back then immediately afterwards and was treated as someone who "lost her marbles" to be discussing such things as being important to theaters of war, and yet, here we are just a few months later (and just days after she was almost killed) and President Obama has now signed a National Defense Authorization Act into law that could theoretically be used to fund the very things that she was expressing concern about in the above video clip (as insinuated by the President's statement "national security energy related programs"), right?

The other point of interest is that there are conflicting reports that this Act that Obama signed into law removed several controversial provisions related to Cybersecurity, including a White House Office of Cyberspace, and an oversight board for IT compliance. I have yet to have had time to really look into that though.

Still, even if that's true, what is the potential relationship to the other Cybersecurity news published on the very same day that this National Defense Authorization Act was signed (or a day before the tragedy in Tuscon)...

Obama Eyeing Internet ID For Americans

STANFORD, Calif. -- President Obama is planning to hand the U.S. Commerce Department authority over a forthcoming cybersecurity effort to create an Internet ID for Americans, a White House official said here today.

It's "the absolute perfect spot in the U.S. government" to centralize efforts toward creating an "identity ecosystem" for the Internet, White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Howard Schmidt said.

The Obama administration is currently drafting what it's calling the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace, which Locke said will be released by the president in the next few months. (An early version was publicly released last summer.)

"We are not talking about a national ID card," Locke said at the Stanford event. "We are not talking about a government-controlled system. What we are talking about is enhancing online security and privacy, and reducing and perhaps even eliminating the need to memorize a dozen passwords, through creation and use of more trusted digital identities."

Did you catch the "money quote" in the selected excerpt above? Remember, when they go out of their way to deny what it isn't, then that's precisely what it actually is.

Apparently, it seems we're right to suspect this legislation and such a possibility. Why? Because The Washington Post tells us...

"It's quite amazing what Congress can do when there is bipartisan agreement among the leadership and public attention is focused elsewhere.

Consider this: It passed a single piece of legislation that deals with controversial subjects such as health-care costs, gun control and environmental problems, but the bill went through the House and the Senate under unanimous consent agreements - with hardly a murmur during the lame-duck session.

Of course, I am referring to the rapid approval of the 924-page, $726 billion National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal 2011, which was loaded with hundreds of special provisions added by lawmakers. But because it had the blessing of the ranking Republicans on the House and the Senate Armed Services committees, including Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), the word 'earmark' was never mentioned."

Figures. Ladies and Gentlemen, as always, something stinks here. I'm not quite sure what it is, but rest assured there's something foul at play.

As for the odd video that started this investigation today? Again, even if it was somehow done after Saturday's tragedy, then how do we explain how it seems to be over a year old? Weird, huh?
