For anyone who's new here, or new to these (admittedly) highly subjective 'Symbolism Studies' and their possible -- and I stress the word 'POSSIBLE' -- connection to the near fulfillment of end times Bible prophecy, please READ THIS IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER first (look for the 'Symbolism Studies Disclaimer') before you continue.
Thank you very much. Now, here are a few things we've highlighted in the past, or that many of you have already contacted me about, let alone some new things I've noticed pertaining to this whole Tim Tebow/NFL saga...
- Without question, each and every one of these types of 'Symbolism Studies' needs to be tempered with a sober, sound mind. I mean, just because we can 'see a connection' does not necessarily mean a thing. In fact, often times it's just there without any meaningful or lasting impact upon real life. Case in point, last year's 'Will It Be A Supernatural Super Bowl' entry we published about someone else's extensive research at the time. Sure, the information was extremely eyebrow-raising, and I even agreed with many of his findings, but we all know that nothing catastrophic happened. So, please exercise caution here. We should always be skeptical about things like this (about the things you find even in LUF's own Symbolism Studies), right? We’re supposed to be like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), remember?
- LUF first wrote about Tim Tebow and the public expression of his faith in January 2009. Looking back, it was strange because even though it was a very short post, the topic dealt with the coming persecution of Christians on a scale like we here in America have never seen, but the kind that's certainly prophesied in the Bible. Of course, that persecution is intensifying each and every time Tebow finds himself in the news.
- 'Fallen Angels Follow Football?' documents the unusual regularity of 'UFOs' showing up at football games in recent months. However, they're not just any football games because the places/teams/images involved have also included overt religious symbolism too. For example, here's what some of the things that have come up reminded us of in relation to eschatology...: Tim Tebow/Denver Bronco = Christian/Horse = Christ/White Horse?
[Revelation 19:11; Revelation 19:21]
: Denver, CO = Future Capital of Prophesied One World Government?
: Incessant Criticism of Tim Tebow = Coming Persecution of Believers?
: New Orleans Saints = The Elect/Body of Believers?
: Indianapolis Colts = Horses = The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?
[Indianapolis = In + Diana + Polis = Royal Bloodline?]
: St. Louis Cathedral = St. Louis = 'Christian Prince'/'Lieutenant Of God On Earth'/Jewish Persecution?
: Church Steeple = Pointing To God/Heaven/Salvation?
: Notre Dame = Our Lady = Virgin Mary?
: South Bend, Indiana = In + Diana = Royal Bloodline?
Needless to say, given all the Biblical evidence (and the extensive evidence shared here over the last 3 years that can be found in the 'Aliens/UFO 'Archive) to support the so-called 'extraterrestrial' occurrences are actually 'spiritual' (and 'demonic'), it should be obvious why these latest instances stand out.
- Let's not forget that the offspring of these Fallen Angels who mated with human women (according to Genesis 6:4) are called the 'Nephilim', and they're a race of beings that far too many Christians don't want to study (or even think about) given the very serious (and troubling to some) implications. I bring that up because...: Nephilim = NFL?
- It's been said before, but it's worth repeating: Even if you reject the obvious spiritual roots behind the whole so-called 'Alien/UFO' phenomenon, can you really see Satan and his minions letting something like that pass without attempting to use it to their advantage to try and deceive millions especially when the likely end result would be getting people to question God and His Word? Yes, ultimately, God is sovereign and nothing takes Him by surprise -- no, not even Satan. So, whether or not the 'Alien/UFO' Satanic agenda will be part of some 'Great Deception' during these end times remains to be seen.
- LUF actually wrote about Tim Tebow last year too in a piece titled 'Critical Mass, Fever Pitch' following an unusual haircut he was sporting at the time.
Incredibly, that SINGLE STORY combined several threads we've been following for quite some time in this forum: The Prophetic Significance of Denver, CO + Tebow's A Self-Proclaimed Christian Who Is Very Open About His Faith + 'Alien/UFO' Satanic Agenda = Predictive Programming. To think that we find all of that in a supposedly 'random', single story is compelling, isn't it?
- As previously mentioned, Tebow is coached by a man appropriately named John Fox (like the Christian martyr with the very same name!).
- Even the manner in which Tebow has defied the odds to win games appeared to be overflowing with symbolism too. theme of QB Tim 'Christian' Tebow putting his team in a position to win the game by engineering a comeback, followed by a successful Field Goal kick by K Matt 'Babylon' Prater when he 'seals the deal' ('seals the deal' = Seven Seals?) also tells us something I think. How do we arrive at such a conclusion? Prater = 'Prate' = 'To Babble' = 'Babble On' = Babylon. That's how. My gosh, even the name of the most famous Denver Broncos Kicker BEFORE Matt Prater was named Jason Elam ('Elam' as in 'present day Iran', which has been in the news a lot lately). See what I mean?
- Not sure why, because the position of the hands isn't in the same place, but whenever I see a picture of someone 'Tebowing' I instantly think of 'The Thinker', and begin to wonder if this is a subtle question along the lines of "Who Will Win This Matchup: Tebow vs. The Thinker?" In other words, Tebow represents God's Wisdom and The Thinker statue represents Man's Wisdom, or perhaps even Faith against Science. Of course, I thought of Proverbs 3:5, and how we already know the answer were such a question presented to us.
Some critics believe that The Thinker was originally intended to depict Dante at the Gates of Hell, pondering his great poem. While that's not the case, how crazy is it to have that possibility come up in this study?
- What's quite interesting to me is this Tebow - 'Alien/UFO' - Fallen Angels - Nephilim - National Football League (NFL) apparent connection. That's because of a few other posts that were published that followed that first Tim Tebow one, which we already mentioned.
- Intriguing how last night's Monday Night Football game in San Francisco, CA was delayed not once, but twice, due to an unexplained blackout. Of course, I recalled the whole 'Nuclear Bible' prediction that we reported on just prior to last year's Super Bowl and wondered if this was some sort of a 'test run' perhaps. Strange that it happened in San Francisco too because we did a World Series symbolism study that focused on the San Francisco Giants too that ties in here.
- Let me be clear about something very important whenever these sorts of things come up in the mainstream news and in such a high-profile kind of way. I said it before, but it bears repeating for emphasis. It doesn't matter whether or not the above stories are actually true or not. It doesn't matter whether or not such real life experiences as reported by credible witnesses are directly connected to some kind of spiritual phenomenon like we suggest. The only thing that matters is that, once again, the general public has been further conditioned to accept the idea that 'Aliens/UFOs' of 'extraterrestrial' origin exist in the manner that's been presented to us from the very beginning when this Satanic narrative first started. It's Neuro-Linguistic Programming at its best, and spiritual deception at its worst. Why the concern? Why the danger in something like that? Well, such a paradigm-shifting revelation would obviously threaten the fundamental tenets of our shared faith, wouldn't it? Not to us necessarily, but to those newer (or weak) in their faith. Furthermore, just imagine what kind of power such a reality would give to The-Powers-That-Be (the future Antichrist and False Prophet?). We'd be looking at the establishment of a 'New World Order' (a.k.a. prophesied One World Government system), wouldn't we? It's certainly plausible I think.
Now, I'll admit, I often wonder if any of this subjective symbolism analysis means anything at all. Are they types of 'signs' that point us to the nearness of the fulfillment of end times Bible prophecy? I really don't know. They could be. Then again, they might not be.
Regardless, you gotta admit that there's some pretty unusual cases of symbolism present in the same types of stories lately. What are the odds of that being a 'random' occurrence?
Still, while it's fun to watch the world for these sorts of things, we must never view them as if their presence justifies the Word of God, and as if their absence nullifies it. That would be pure, rank heresy. The Word of God is true and it will be fulfilled because it's the Word of God. Plain and simple.
Furthermore, while I believe it's ok for us to have discussions like this from time to time, and to engage in studies of this nature, we must be on guard so that our hearts and minds don't become consumed with finding the next 'sign' or 'symbolic representation of God's Word being fulfilled' because then we run the risk of such studies themselves becoming an idol, and having them supplant our love for the Lord and Savior and His holy Scriptures.
Sure, we can allow our eyes to examine such things as these, especially if they make us think of Him and His Word, but they should never take the place of (or even be on the same level with) God's revealed Word to us. Never take your eyes off of Jesus Christ. Let's forever rest on the truth of His Word.
Luke 21:28 (KJV) And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
"The Truth Is Out There..." will forever be closely tied to this topic thanks to mass conditioning shows like The X-Files.
The irony, however, is that the truth is embodied by our knowledge of The Truth Himself (a.k.a. Jesus Christ) as preserved for us in the Holy Bible. That's the only place you need to turn to in order to discover the truth about...everything.
Whether or not the sky is going to fall like they constantly tell us it will, whether or not there are things 'up there' they say we should fear, don't fall into Satan's trap. Pray for discernment. Fight fear with faith. Rest in Him. Rest on His Word. And by all means, keep looking up (for Him, not them!).
Lastly, we've been focusing on professional football and the NFL here today. Isn't it something how God's Word has told us well in advance what to expect -- piece by piece -- as we approach the great 'Supernatural Super Bowl' of sorts in the form of the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:16)?
With that in mind, I must STRONGLY encourage everyone to read and/or listen to the Bible study 'Twelve Words For The Twelfth Man' to help us make sure we're all on the same page.
Keep looking up!
